21  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: September 10, 2017, 07:59:16 AM
Bitcoin is only popular because of its price and only in the internet. USD is popular all over the world and use even in public conveniently. They have their own purposes, let's just say that bitcoin can do something and USD can't and vice versa.

That is right. However, when the bitcoin becomes more widely used, people will prefer bitcoin in the future.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How long will my gpu last? on: August 18, 2017, 02:55:56 PM
The maximum temperature it rises to is 94 degrees.
That's a lot. I am trying to keep mine gpu around 70-75 degrees

I run at those temperatures when the fan speed is about 40-50%.

My 7990 has lasted four years. I do not overclock them.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: June 25, 2017, 07:50:24 PM
i think its not, ETH is like a tunnel (gateway), other project use the tunnel.

That is right. It is most used ICO coin.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: June 13, 2017, 04:20:23 PM
Actually Ethereum itself is not a bubble but people have to buy ethereum to invest in icos. I think icos must accept 4-5 different currency at the same rate to avoid this absurdity.

I think most of the ICO are dubious. It is better not to invest in them.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: whoohoo what a dump, now great opportunity to get back in on: May 28, 2017, 05:14:59 PM
I hate to associate the dump with down time of a lot of exchanges. There a lot of buy order cancels during the bounce back. It's a hit on the confident but in no doubt bullish days are ahead of us.

Coinbase said it has 40,000 new customers every day. They will push up the price later.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All Altcoins near ATH? ...nothing to trade/invest!? on: May 12, 2017, 06:14:09 AM
I'm going to give a shout out for Dash

Dash is a long term hold and now is a good entry point

Maybe when the price is 10-20% lower?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All Altcoins near ATH? ...nothing to trade/invest!? on: April 26, 2017, 05:39:02 PM
Move into btc now, alt run is nearly over.

My tip is qora, severely undervalued, being delisted from poloniex too , so it's a real bargain, but still a serious top 10 contender one day

Is that listed elsewhere?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.1 (Windows/Linux) on: April 23, 2017, 10:38:13 AM
Anyone mining with 480/580 can recommend what to mine with eth ?

ETH is best for 480/580.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: April 03, 2017, 05:32:31 PM
If top price of $2.5 is considered bubble, than yes. But, for me increase from 1 to 2 dollars is far from a bubble. Its just a pump.

We really lived in some historic times dint we?

That is true. Everyday, there is some pump of a coin.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASROCK H81 PRO BTC on: March 27, 2017, 04:03:10 PM
As I know those boards are not useful for BTC. Are those useful for mining ETH for example?

Thanks

Yes. They are useful for most altcoin GPU mining.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: March 04, 2017, 06:56:50 PM
NOW REAL COMPANIES ARE USING ETHEREUM! Did you hear about ENTERPRISE ETHEREUM? BIG BIG COMPANIES like BNY Mellon, Santander and J. P. Morgan!

I think that is the biggest news this year.
More companies, Microsoft and Intel already a part of the ethereum alliance. and IBM will be joining the ethereum alliance as soon as possible. This is a great news.
I cant believe that ETH does gain impact on big companies and now they are gradually being accepted which means Eth does have a potential on future and a good alternative besides bitcoin. This is also a promising for long term investments and luckily i do hold some ETH and still holding.

I think I will hold my Ethereum as it will be used by big companies.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying More Bitcoins on: February 22, 2017, 04:51:00 PM
i have been buying bitcoin in the past two days silently and whenever price goes to the $830+$20 because that price seems to be a good support level from what i have been seeing in the USD market and from the equivalent values in the Chinese markets.
and we are already back to $900+ for another time.

You are rewarded nicely.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying More Bitcoins on: January 06, 2017, 11:47:14 AM
Hi,

I just bought more Bitcoins, as it was under 1000$, do you think that it was a good choice?

It is upto you that how are you buying and what is your buying limit, if you are buying in split in dip then it is very good and on every dip just buy it and wait for atleast 6 months you will surely get more profit

For every $100 dip, I will buy one bitcoin.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: January 02, 2017, 04:09:52 PM
USD is just the same with other fiat. It value is always decrease becouse of inflation. I am sure that people will leave fiat soon. So many countries were accept bitcoin, I think bitcoin will get more mass adoption.

Bitcoin will coexist with fiat for long time. Small transactions can use fiat.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My new ZEC + XMR+ ETH thread builds info links thoughts and photos. on: December 09, 2016, 05:52:42 PM
According to current profitability, I guess most of you guys are now mining Eth (except for the rigs that need to get lower power consumption, where zec can still be interesting).
What pool do you use nowadays ?
Is ethermine still a good choice, with fair payouts ?
Many of use noticed their new zec pool, flypool, was not very fair ...

With the 7990 cards and the 7950, I still mine the zcash. But they are very undervolated and under clocked.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: December 01, 2016, 06:16:46 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
No.

The market of bitcoin is smaller than USD.

Most of the economy was based on the rate of US dollar.

Yet, as time goes buy bitcoin can be more popular than USD.
As bitcoin uses as decentralized currency.

No question about that, we have witness already how big the population of USD users compared to bitcoin although it's a universal currency as we call it. We must live with the reality that it cannot happen, we have our freedom to use bitcoin but it will always remain as an alternative currency.

There will be institutions using USD for professional matters. But bitcoin will get massive support, not that is doesn't have now. But it will achieve yet another exponential growth.

The US dollar price has dropped against bitcoin in the last two years. It seems more institutions will use bitcoin.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: November 17, 2016, 07:20:32 AM
Its the 1st of its kind. Its more anonymous. Its more secure. Oh, and also because its value seems to be increasing faster than the other ones.
There go the reasons why I like BTC more than other crypto currencies

The bitcoin is more anonymous than some currency, but it is less anonymous than the cash and Monero or Dash or ZCash.
