I've played the game and it's so awesome! It's so neat that you guys are on the Google Play and Android store. That's a feat that not many other coins can achieve.
What do you see for the future in Bela?

We want to implement the tournaments, which will be distributed large quantities of BELA.
Advertisers will be able to become a sponsor of the tournament.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [GO] Coin GO! | Android APP on: July 21, 2016, 10:25:11 PM
Its hard enough to get me off my ass to catch pokemon, and thats fun, kinda, for now..

This type of distribution is just stupid. No one is going to get off their asses to collect coins that are worth no more than a fraction of a cent. Its a complete waste of time and it will die, like GEOcoin did.

You think that it's stupid to distribute the coins?
At Geocoin I don't see a mobile app...

How will it work? Will the Android wallet be connected to a centralised server, or will it be a standalone wallet running on each phone? Electrum's semi-centralised in that it contacts one of a number of servers to get access to the bitcoin blockchain. If your Android wallet's any more centralised than that I don't think it will be successful.

Unfortunately this Android app can not be done in a decentralized.

looks to be a good project i am on bookmaking the thread,
but controlling the region as in the example f Kuwait looks a little puzzling for decentralized system

Maybe this is a bad example.
I'll explain it in another way: you can distribute 1000 BTC for Africa, for charitable purposes.

Didn't quite get it, do you already have an android app or not? if not, what's the point of posting a thread before there's anything to show  Huh

The application is not ready. We are now looking forward budget. Soon there will be a proposal for ICO.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [PRE-ANN] [GO] Coin GO! | Proof-Of-Go Distribution | Android Wallet + GAME! on: July 19, 2016, 02:47:58 AM
Description:

Android app will allow you to store and transfer coins.
The game allows you to collect coins scattered on the ground.
It will be like and Ingress.
It is as easy how to catch pokemon in Pokemon GO.

Portals are created by users.
They accumulate the coins, so users will try to get to them.
This feature may use, for example for shopping centers.
GO may be the cheapest way to attract new customers.

Social:

1. Any funds or private persons will be able to finance the poorer regions directly, bypassing corrupt schemes.
2. Distribution of the coins in regions with a low standard of living will help combat hunger and to attract tourists.

Monetization:

1. Buy portals.
For example the owner of any merchant can create a portal at the store, it can attract buyers.

2. Adding ALT coins.
You can distribute any coin-targeted areas.
For example Kuwait coin can be extended only on the territory of Kuwait.

ROAD MAP:

1. Creating a multi-wallet.

2. Start GO Game.

3. The introduction of technology "augmented reality".

4. The ability to create its own coins.

5. Other ways to obtain coins, such as quests.

With a lot of coins it seems like some powerful miners will hit it hard then the difficulty is high and you have to wait sometimes many hours for the next block.

Prohashing is a pretty reliable node or whatever that will add connections fast https://prohashing.com/explorer/Bellacoin/ Addnode    98.115.147.74:10554 they list 15 connections right now.

As for chesscoin, chess game etc, some opinions, sorry to repeat.

Bella as a chess coin is a strong idea. A well made chess coin would quickly become popular, but "well made" is the key.

1) The process has to be sustainable.
It doesn't make sense to have somebody paying coins out of pocket unless the purpose is a short term pump only. For a long term coin the paying of coins must be incorporated into the algorithm.

2) It has to be decentralized.
AndroidCrypto has taken the first big step in making a chess coin but the coin must not be dependant on a person or group. It should depend on the algorithm only. Outside apps, like AndroidCrypto's should simply be interfaces for a wallet, blockchain, algorithm etc that are designed for chess players. Ideally the wallet would have a very basic minimally functional chess game and third parties like AndroidCrypto would only be providing a nicer interface.

3) The big stumbling block with a chess coin, and with many similar coins, will be the problem of bots playing and taking coins without any human participation. Some solution has to be found beyond providing capchas for each move.

4) A secondary issue with coins like this is the leveling effect cryptos will have on fiat economies. As long as there are people in poor countries that are happy to spend hours playing a game for usd 0.3 an hour and then sell the coins immediately to buy rice, it will be difficult to have a financial incentive for people in more developed economies. For that reason the emphasis has to initially be on the coin as a marker or token rather than as a way to offer prizes to chess players.

A good chess coin, as Bella might become, has huge potential to develop a pretty genuine economy around it, as opposed to the mountains of coins trying to build phony stores or merchant services to run currency around in circles and only give the superficial appearance of real world use. There are a lot of big hurdles to make a good chess coin. I have some Bella and hope it becomes a chess coin that is well made. My opinion is that the first step is to find a developer to make an algorithm or coin minting process that is through playing chess, similar to playing solitaire racer with neucoin or playing huntercoin. Both those projects are struggling with some of the issues mentioned previously.

All this needs to be discussed, join Chess 2.0

What's stopping from users automating the chess game to never lose the game?

Against Bots it is not possible to get rid of, but we can reduce their impact frequent changes of the algorithms and adding captcha..

I am a bit unsure here, what exactly is "Bitcoiny" in this Chess Game project? You want to create Chess environment where players would fight with each other for BTC?
It is not gonna work with Chess, because this game can be easily abused. I have seen many Chess project failed just because of that - online chess just doesn't work when you want to monetize it.

Monetization model is the same as that of faucet - advertising.
Only the user instead of entering the CAPTCHA, you need to win a game of chess.
39  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Android Chess Game - Win Bitcoin {need investors 50/50} on: July 10, 2016, 11:30:50 PM
If you've already developed the app for one coin, why do you need an investor? Is it just for advertising or ?  Why not use profits from the first game for the second game?  If you're not profitable for the first game/coin, than your business model might not be right.  An investor is going to want to know why your returns on project #1 isn't working out to invest in project #2. Furthermore, why would an investor spend for advertising to earn back 50/50 on ad revenue?  Seems like a bad investment, so you might want to rethink another investment model.

This application can be called test.
It did not bring profit.
We test it functional.

To make a profit of $ 500 per day to a minimum of 100 000 active players, to attract such a player is worth $ 1-5.
At the same time, if the game is like and people will recommend it to friends,
the cost of attracting players to fall markedly. To do this, you need to work on the next version.
Throw in the Bitcoin payment of expenses players.
I hope now it is clear that to make it impossible for their money.

Therefore, we expect to attract at least 1,000 BTC.
This is a large sum, and so we decided to attract investment in parts and spread the results of the work.

And because better to invest in the brand BitcoinChess, than BellaChess?
40  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Android Chess Game - Win Bitcoin {need investors 50/50} on: July 08, 2016, 02:20:01 AM
Thank you all for your interest.
We offer you a part in the startup.
We have:
  - A working application.
  - Proven monetization

Necessary:
  - Collect app for Bitcoin
  - Buy a lot of advertising

Of course there are a lot of technological chips, which we really want to implement!

If any major investor will be interested in cooperation, we can discuss the form of participation.
