21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi, first day here, question about dangers of buying a full member account on: April 09, 2016, 10:51:08 PM
My recommendation here is to:

1. Make sure any accounts that are tied with it are in reach, or disabled.

2. Be prepared to watch out for possible negative trust if you've bought an account as people like to discourage it

3. Be on your best behavior. Don't give account purchasing a bad name.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you honestly think Bitcoin toys would help us?! on: April 09, 2016, 10:45:21 PM
Only a games bitcoin related will help to spread the bitcoin word ,and concept,a toy cant represent bitcoin and the child wont understand it .
i doubt that there are a lot of games that are connected with finances and economics therefore i dont think that there will be games connected with bitcoins to be honest

also we dont need anything like that as there are no games connected with regular money and young people dont need to know much about the bitcoins and how it works
Monopoly.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHICH BITCOIN WALLET IS THE MOST GOOD AND CONVINENCY on: April 09, 2016, 10:20:19 PM
I use localbitcoins sometimes. It's rather effective. The transfers are fast, safe, and secure. I suggest checking them out when you've got the free time on your hands. It's definitely worth it.

I think one of them would be assuming how the system works. I'll admit that I've joined a lot of BTC sites not reading the rules. This time I read rules joining this new site.
Which other sites did you join? I've been meaning to get more BTC related sites to join.
Reddit, and Bitcoin Italia. I'm sure that you've heard of these ones. It's not as great as this forum anyway. I'm upset that I hadn't joined earlier.
I haven't heard of the Italian one, but what is the layout like? What are the rules? Are they any similar to this one?
No, not too similar. When I asked for where the rules were, somebody said to go to Meta and click the unofficial ones. One of them said that the moderators can interpret the rules as they wish so it kinda sounds like there's no rules and this site is like a free for all...

Not to say that I like that, but just to say that the fact that Satoshi was actually here is what makes this forum better to me.
Heh, yeah. The rules are completely nonexistent here. I don't think they realize how bad it is to not actually have concrete rules.
Trust me. They definitely realize it. They just want to give moderators the  opportunity to possibly abuse any kind of diplomatic community they might have here. I am hoping to find some kind of way to make that list of rules more substantiated than before. If I was to have that opportunity, the rules would really have nothing to do with moderators interpreting it however they please. They themselves would also have to follow cement planted rules.
I'll admit that the unofficial ones are a bit uncomfortable for me but I'd never imply that the moderators break rules.

26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is the next president on: April 09, 2016, 09:42:34 PM
I hate Donald. His views on American society are upsetting to me. He wastes money which was very much proven when he said he got a "small loan of a million dollars" indicating 1 million is very little, uses women, and thinks the very people he hates should vote for him anyway. Him trying to get rid of illegal immigrants may not be a very good idea.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 09, 2016, 09:39:40 PM
I actually can't stand Donald. When I watched an interview of him, he said how his dad gave him "a small loan of a million dollars" and I honestly wanted to choke him. I've never been more annoyed in my entire life...that is the most nonsensical comment I've ever heard. 1 million dollars is a lot of money. It's clear he wastes money if he thinks 1 million dollars is small. He would not make a great president, but he would be a fun president to watch the antics of.

why my yobit uid is not active now?
Were you previously banned from BitcoinTalk? If so, that might be why. I'm not too certain though but if we discuss this thoroughly, we might take care of the issue.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: April 09, 2016, 08:56:01 PM
OP, do you have any special talents? Occupy them and you'll be able to make enough money via BTC to live off of. Have you done what I said you should do the last time I posted here? Go to the services forum. Not just coders can make money here.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 09, 2016, 08:53:02 PM
Just try to teach them once and if they are interested they will start working on it, don't waste your precious time as time is more important, if they don't get into it then its their bad luck.

yeah, just tell them about that currency and give some beneficial information about and then leave them, one day they themselve will continue to start adopting bitcoin,

People who are aware about latest technology will start working on it straightaway, the only thing they need is initial guidance and if you provide them that then they will start using it for sure.
Not exactly. They'll use it only if they truly believe it'll be beneficial to them or others. That in itself is a situation and choice they themselves would have to decide in what the next step would be. With that in mind, you can't force adoption.
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America can afford a universal basic income on: April 09, 2016, 08:50:41 PM
This may seem stupid but I do not see other ideas other than letting people die from lack of medication, food or shelter. One thing to be cold hearted on the internet but another in actual practice.
More people will be working part time as full time will become to costly due to benefits. Then people will be forced to fight over these part time jobs, grinding worker value down even more. The numbers are manipulated currently through part time job creation.
So we can pretend that we will be protected from this through education or money but that is short term. As more people join the rank , the more disruptive society will become.
If it is not the answer, what is?

Community work paid by the state is an other option and in that case the state can get lots of things done with some relative cheap workforce, plus otherwise unemployed people will not get unused to the idea of working.
Unemployment is really not too avoidable. In some cases it'll happen to you no matter how hard you work, so let's also keep that in mind.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: April 09, 2016, 08:46:33 PM
why are you such sure? even there will be better digital currency than bitcoin, but people still stay on bitcoin, so what? bitcoin will not die.
so don't judge too fast
There's more than a thousand other cryptocurrencies so we are not too worried about a cryptocurrency fad dissipating.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are now able to use your bitcoins to shop at Walmart, Chipotle, gas stations on: April 09, 2016, 08:45:11 PM
I can't confirm any of these. I walked into Walmart an hour ago and asked and the guy said what is Bitcoin..

Maybe that particular Walmart you went to was special or that specific person you spoke to decided to trade your Fiat for BTC to purchase what you needed to purchase at your convenience. Can you show me a receipt showing you or anyone else paid with BTC for something at a popular business/store/etc?

I suggest you back up a bit, digest the facts of the conversation, and only then make your odd pronouncements.

We're talking about gift cards here. Why would the Walmart guy need to know anything about the bitcoin (or zimbabwean zloties!) used to buy the walmart gift card he's being asked to accept?

Okay, sorry but if you could buy gift cards with it, I would just think that they'd know something about it, right?
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 09, 2016, 08:43:59 PM
I will prefer to teach them once, I will never keep on forcing them to adapt bitcoin, if they don't want its their choice I really don't have time to keep on running behind them why would I waste my time and energy behind them.
Exactly, because not everything is meant for everyone. Some people are interested in PayPal. Some are interested in other stuff, etc etc. We can't all occupy the same way to pay for things anyway. It's just not possible. It's like asking a guy in the US to pay for things with China money. He can't do it.

Im kinda neutral with this if you teach him once i think they cannot sink in to their minds easily on what you are teaching because bitcoin is not known by our relatives or neighboors that not techie. I must say i teach them as long as they have question feel free to ask if they need help. But mostly i teach newbies with youtube videos as well as joining them to bitcoin grouo where they can get more idea about bitcoin.
YouTube videos? Mind messaging me some of the videos?

Well of course. we're trying to work through that but how do we do it if we're not really getting any feedback/ideas here? You gotta contribute an idea.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you honestly think Bitcoin toys would help us?! on: April 09, 2016, 02:15:47 AM
It could be an interesting thought, you'd have to make the toys fun though. No kid wants to play with a big BTC
Actually, kids don't really mind what they're playing with. Kids have played with sticks, and novelty items for a while now. Shoes, jewelry, daddy's ties, etc. The point that should be established here is whether or not the toy is teaching the child anything.

it depends mostly on the age of the kid.
yes the very young kids don't mind playing with any object they can get their hands on but as they grow up they start to be more picky and also learn from their games if they are also educational games.
Well, what kind of educational toy/game for Bitcoin would you suggest? Somebody's already come up with the board game idea, and I've come up with a mini crankable robot that changes a screen on its belly where random characters pop up to demonstrate using multiple addresses.
