MICRO,

I have an issue. My account was fixed only for it to have another issue. First, I changed my password. Then, I wanted to use Seuntjie Bot so I had to set up 2FA. I did, and when I registered with Seuntjie bot I got the message "Passwords Do Not Match". I went back to primedice and changed my password again and it worked. I was able to use the password I had set as the "old password". But when I tried Seuntjie i got the same "Passwords Do Not Match" message. I decided I may need to log out and log back in again. But when I did I got the "Unauthorized" message again! Ahh! Please help. It seems I'm dealing with the same issue as before. Thank you for all the hard work. My username is Sven42. I put in a new service request (15741). In it I went ahead and gave you all the information I thought you might ask. Thx ahead of time.

OK, here is Earthman from PD. I wanted to warn you all about player Staggo, who scammed me 0.15 yesterday and refused to give it back.

First of all, I'm definitely guilty of being stupid and fall for it. When I think about it now, I can't believe I did it.

And here's the story:

Yesterday I was playing with 0.05, when Staggo PM'd me asking for 500k. I sent it to him and then did it again sending 0.01 in total. He asked me how much I had in wallet. Said 0.3 and then he asked me if I wanna 1 btc. I said yes. Then he said he wants me to send 0.15 for given btc addy and said he needs to get some food and when he'll be back he will send me 0.5. I said I'll trust him and I made a transfer. Here are details of that transaction:

https://postimg.org/image/rtov4iy2h/

At that moment, I believed Staggo, so I didn't take screens, which I now regret. He was back after like 30 mins and said he has some good news. I asked about details and then he sent me that PM:

https://postimg.org/image/ldmj16omx/

Then finally bell ringed in my head and I made a screenshot. As you see, he wanted me to send to him another 0.15, that he knew I have left and promise to send me 2 btc of 3 that he allegedly made from what I sent to him. He also insisted I do it fast, cause he needs to go "for puppy's training". He said when he will be back and it will be confirmed, he will send me 2 btc. This time I refused to do it and stopped answered his PMs.

Of course nothing of that happened. I waited for him to be back on chat and asked him to send back my 0.15 so we can go our ways. I stressed that I don't want his 0.5 or 2 btc, just my 0.15 btc. He laughed at me and when I said I'm gonna post a thread about it, he said I'm gonna be banned for trying to blackmail and frame him.

And that's pretty much it. I don't believe I will ever get that 0.15, but this is my lesson and I learnt it. I know I was stupid and should have never sent anything to guy from PD chat I don't even really know. My bad. Still, it was a scam and I want you all to be warned of Staggo and be aware who he really is.

Staggo is a scammer. Don't trade with him, don't send him money, avoid having anything in common with that guy. Cost me 0.15 btc to learn that and I hope noone else gonna get scammed by him. That's why I decided to make this post, even if I'm still ashamed of being SO naive.

Thanks for reading and good luck everybody.

Sorry for your loss. Scammers are everywhere so you should pay attention on that kind of attempts next time. Those guys don't have a real decent job and they only want free money from others. Lazy thief i should say
Sorry to hear about that earthman. blxxkshxxp here... Staggo has been going on about how he needs a million dollars to build a house or something like that. He said in chat that he could get a loan from the bank but he'd rather try and get the money in BTC... He was trying to say that he had almost half a million dollars in BTC... so why would he need your 0.15? Also, when you look at his stats they're incredibly low for someone who supposedly has that much bitcoin. This only confirms my suspicion that he's full of sxxt. Just keep your head up man and next time I'm up I'll try and think of you and throw you something. If I can get two or three bitcoins I may just try and give you the 0.15. That shit is totally uncool. Keep your head up.

This sucks. PD is back up but I can't log in. I'm getting the message "Unauthorized."

I was trying to use Seuntjie bot the other day and I couldn't figure it out. Granted, I didn't try very long. It had a field for the API key and I couldn't find any API key on PD. Also, when I went to register it said my passwords didn't match. I'm guessing the API key might fix that. Not sure though. Can anybody point me in the right direction?BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC Smiley Grin Cheesy Cool Tongue Undecided Tongue Roll Eyes Sad Cool Wink

first you have to select primedice in menu... for entering pd with seuntjiebot you have to type username and pw only.. and 2fa if its enabled..

Ummm I only have to use username, API key, and 2fA to login to bot... not password.

WHAT THE F PD. Fix your shit!

lol i see theres a new version available.. maybe its a new easteregg from seuntjie??  Grin try to use your pw in "API" field

btw should work only if pd is up again....

update: found this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307425.msg15928749#msg15928749

should answer your question with the API thing..

greetings
thx that's helpful

Why doesn't every player log their own bets? Putting PD servers under more stress will only end up slowing everything down again, more downtime, more problems. Just do a bit of research of how to do it because its actually very easy. I've been logging my bets for 2 weeks now .. I don't verify the rolls though ~ I just wanna see how long it takes the .txt file to become 1GB+ ..  Smiley
I think PD should grow if they want their customer base to grow, and logging bets is just one of those steps that customers want to have in primedice, while I already log my bets having the ability for that to happen on its own would be nice and doesn't seem too bandwidth-demanding
Yes, PD should do it. If it did pose a bandwidth problem there could be a tool that you download from the website and saved everything on the players browser cache like a download for archived data. You would have to consider that PD already has the data stored, then for each individual active acount they would have to potentially store it again. I could see how that might take up bandwidth considering how many people are on at any given minute.

But to all blind fans of "provably fair" I can only say that - until it's open-source code, so anyone can review it, they can do whatever they want with rolls outcomes.

Being open source wouldn't help at all. For one, how could you verify they're using the published source and not with a rigged-version patch?

On the other hand provably fair is robust if you follow these steps:
1) Write down the server-seed hash
2) Pick a new unpredictable seed, write that down too
...play while remembering how you played (e.g. prediction, direction and amounts)
3) Reveal the server seed. Make sure when hashed it is what was on step 1, and the client seed is unchanged. Now use a verification script (like the one on dicesites.com) to make sure the outcomes are exactly the same.

If the provably fair checks out, and your deposits and withdrawals were processed you can be 100% sure that you were not cheated.

@Stunna, @MICRO

Maybe if there were some way to keep a log of all your rolls on a given seed pair... Maybe that might make it a little more salient for users. That's the main problem I face when I want to check my rolls. All I have is the last 30 bets. When I am in the middle of a seed pair that is rolling well for the most part but I hit a losing streak that puts a dent in my balance I may want to check it, but also, I may not want to change my seed yet. At that time I can either write down my roll number and nonce and client seed until I decide to change my seed pair or just say screw it and move on. I usually just move on wishing it were a little more user friendly. I understand that's my decision so I don't have any complaints. I will say, though, that for many new users a complete ledger of all rolls for a given seed pair would put a lot of arguments to rest, and possibly spare PD admins a lot of grief... given the daily accusations they face. I mean, you gotta imagine being faced with the same accusations on an ongoing basis. It would make the most stoic of people tend to be calloused with a little righteous indignation. I think the admins handle themselves quite nicely considering some of the people on the forums....  ... Maybe Stunna could have devs implement a better log of all the rolls? I suppose the roll log could change to a clean slate upon setting a new seed pair to save memory, and the user could then be given an option to print the roll log associated with the last seed pair to screen or save as a file. Maybe there could be a way to save the roll log on the players side? ...All rolls would have to be mathematically correct based on the available balance when the seed pair was changed, so even the most ambitious of naysayers could calculate away until the sun comes up. So maybe the roll log could include a timestamp on confirmed incoming deposits and outgoing tips. We're talking about some iron clad stuff here:) ...maybe it doesn't need to be so complicated, IDK, I'm just throwing out ideas. @Stunna, what do you think? Would an of that be feasible? Personally, I think this site has done a lot to prove themselves as being forthcoming in regards to honesty and transparency and being provably fair. Lol, maybe it would give MICRO something to do during the downtime;)
I agree that they should have a log of all rolls, as im sure they already do just like chat. It would be a nice upgrade and tool for going back on old bets, seeing big bets/big wins, and what ever other reason someone might want to look back on a bet. There really isn't no apparent reason stopping them from doing it, I hope they end up doing this one day.
If there were issue regarding server speed and lag time I suppose a widget could be made that would keep everything on the client side. I'm no programmer so don't brow beat me if I don't know what I'm talking about. I just imagine it could be much like Seuntjie bot and not running on primedice's side.

@Stunna, I looked back at when I started my case about the tip to the account that I misplaced the password. It was March 10th, so I started a new ticket and sent all the addresses that I deposited from that day. If that doesn't work I can give you my old deposit address so you can investigate the day or two before. How does that sound? And please communicate with MLaden what's going on. I still haven't heard a reply. It would actually be easier for you guys to look at the date that I sent the tip, then go back to the Pigsn0t account and check the old deposit address, which I can supply for you. I can also supply the old deposit address for sven42. And when and if you credit my account please credit the Pigsn0t account. Thanks

@Stunna, I have an issue that is being unresolved. I made a new username months ago and a couple weeks after I made it I tipped myself about 0.03 but when I went to log in I realized I lost my password. Now, since I was using tor when I created the account(MyyyNigga) I can't access the coin to bet with it. I have made multiple tickets but I get no mercy. To me, this is completely unfair. Obviously, no one is using the account. You should be able to tell that I tipped myself with another username Pigsn0t. I've wagered over 500BTC with that account. This is just ludicrous and I'm not quite sure if this is a security issue or if you just want to keep my coin. Is there any way you can either help me reset that password or just give me back the tip I gave myself? This is extremely annoying. Angry

Losing your password and calling stunna unfair is absurd ..  Wink

wow, looks like stunna has a real fan in you Isildur. I was saying the situation was unfair not Stunna. I was asking for Stunna's help because support kept blowing me off. Sometimes opinions are best kept to yourself. Everyone has one just like ***holes.

No, no one likes me and I'm man enough to admit it (prefer it that way as well) .Situation is concerning stunna having no mercy according to you and saying the situation is unfair is the exact same thing as saying stunna isn't fair, primarily because stunna is the situation (person having no mercy) perhaps admins as well but you didn't mention them in your post. No opinions, just facts.. Don't get me wrong, I do hope they help you to get the account back if you can prove it.. Just don't try to put it on stunna when you are the culprit losing/forgetting passwords.. That's on you, not on him..

Regarding the opinions that are best kept out of the light, sure, I will accept that and not give opinions on any of your posts on btctalk if you agree to not give any opinions on PD.. Seems like a fair trade.. if not, then sorry, you will have to live with what I have to say.

We all like you Isildur  Grin

I'm just eff'n with you anyways man, no need to get all serious on my man. In the long run none of this matters anyways.

If you submit a ticket providing proof of ownership (sign the address that sent the coins etc) we can restore ownership.

Edit: site will be under maintenance for a few minutes

Edit2: already back up

I'm not sure how to do that. It's been a little while and my depo adress has changed. They most likely came from circle, coinbase, or less likely my electrum wallet. don't the addresses change every time?
Edit: I found my old deposit address and my first support ticket I sent was on March 10th. I'm just hoping this is what you're looking for. I submitted another ticket. thx

@Stunna can you please finish following up on my issue? I posted here about a month ago I'm guessing. I've lost track of time and I don't have time to scroll through 20 pages to see what the date was that I posted here. I have an issue that I contacted support with (4546). Due to a glitch I lost about 0.09BTC. I'm not posting what it was here cause I don't want others trying to claim it happened to them too. You replied and said you'd have MICRO check it out but I haven't heard anything from anyone. I originally messaged support through the user ID Sven42, but, as I explained promptly after realizing I might be on the wrong account, I think it actually happened when I was playing with my account with the user ID ace35. Please, can you just come to a resolution with this? I assure you, I'm not spamming hoping for some free coin. I spend a lot of money here and I feel that if I lost due to a glitch that made my user experience anything less than fair I should be entitled to a refund. And it's not like it was a ton of coin either. I've currently been using a different account I created(U:Pigsn0t) and I spend money on primedice all the time. You can tell cause my balance is around -1.5. So, please, can we just get closure on this? It's just under 0.1 which is not anything to scoff over but definitely not worth months of waiting till you come up with a decision. I would really appreciate it if this were resolved this week. Thanks in advance.

Hi Stunna,

I regret having to take the measure of asking you to follow up on this issue. I have had a ticket (3852) out since Nov. 27th. It took a bit of effort(me providing a video recreating the circumstances of my misfortune) for me to convince admin that a small bug exists and that it was responsible for a small loss of mine(~0.09BTC), but when I finally "seemed" to get my point accross the issue was passed of to devs, of whom have never responded. If you were to look at the convo I had with MLaden you'll see what bug I'm talking about. I don't think it's right that a user be able to do this. There should be safeguards against this being able to happen. Hopefully, this won't be an issue with the new rollout. I'm, of course, interested in whether or not this is a refundable instance, but, also, I am interested in this not happening to other players. When it happened to me I just assumed I was SOL and moved on. But, someone suggested I ask the PD admin about the issue at least a week later. This also prompted my to try and report it as a bug, but I've have had no response to this either. Will you please take a small amount of time to review my case and send me an email or post a reply to this post? Thanks, Stunna.  Roll Eyes
