The spreadsheet hasn't been updated since August 15 and as such, I don't know if I'm doing it right.

Is there an update for Mac wallet? You see, I've been away for like couple of months and notice that my wallet wasn't syncing correctly. I got 9 connections and the last block was generated a minute ago but it says that I have yet to catch up about 6k blocks. Does it mean that for about a minute there were 6k blocks generated or there is something wrong with my wallet?
The latest Vault is 2.4.1; if you have this version then you are up to date, if not then you should install this version please... oh, that explains it then. I'm still running 2.3.4 vault. Thanks VonSpass

A new regime is in place.
A new era for BigUp is about to begin.
Funds are being distributed to the new group and we are now witnessing the exit of all weak hands. Entitled complainers can also make their exits. If you do not like where we are headed you are free to leave at any time.
If you want to see BigUp succeed then buckle-down and pitch in.
The BigUp Brigade is ready to do battle on the front lines.
Is this good news? After loosing my faith in this coin, shall I consider this as a new beginning for the bigup community? Alas, all my bigup (and patience) will not go to waste (or is it?).

Ok this soon to be launch coin is going to be proof of stake or proof of work ? can you specify the number of premine if it is going to be pos coin..
It will be PoS that will benefit the holders and just the regular PoS coins out there. Mas maganda bro instead filipino coin how about EastCoin? Focus neto asian country lalo na china para mabilis ang pump neto
It will only start in the Philippines as the main target but it can also spread out. Using 'PesoCoin' will identify that it started here but making our country known as well in the crypto world but other coin names with global resemblance can still be used. We will have translators especially for the Chinese community and provide services to them as well in the future. local adoptation alone won't make a coin prosper. Even all Filipinos here will join, its still hard to make it big. Pang-international na ang labanan at dapat hindi lang basta coin for trading. Dapat may gamit din siya.

nice going waves. I almost forgot that I have waves sitting in my wallet. Perhaps I should just come back after a year or so to see where this coin can take us.

hmm, my vault is acting weird.
Just for today, it staked 3 4 times. Its not that I don't like it to stake as much but in the last 3 months, it only staked for twice or thrice a month and my last stake was last May 25.
Is it normal?

i get only 1 conection, any nodes ?
There you go: addnode=109.206.33.225 addnode=112.209.22.109 addnode=189.250.39.189 addnode=202.156.56.243 addnode=209.93.223.163 addnode=212.24.104.88 addnode=212.47.243.58 addnode=40.68.159.124 addnode=46.0.179.205 addnode=5.189.144.97 addnode=5.89.142.118 addnode=76.169.236.235 addnode=79.21.27.235 addnode=83.240.176.25 addnode=84.22.110.131 addnode=95.150.100.171 You can always check for the latest nodes at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!network (click "node list"). I believe you need a minimum of 3 connections in order to stake but I'm not entirely sure. Mine is working fine. I'm not sure on the minimum number of connections for it to be eligible for staking either. I got 30 connections in my vault !!! According from the cryptobullion forum, I can't find any thing that mentions about how many nodes are to be needed to stake your coins. But I find this: Special notes:
To stake with your CBX Vault, leave it running and in "staking mode": Staking mode is keeping the Vault either "Unlocked" or "Unlocked for staking" (Click on the Padlock icon from the Top Menu) The PoSP staking of a given input or CBX address starts immediately after having been immobile for just one hour If you do not see the message "Info: Staking suspended due to locked Vault." then you are staking. Be patient, PoSP rewards are on their way! Once your Vault is "synced" (the entire blockchain is downloaded), the subsequent sync activity will be just catching up on the transactions that occurred while your vault was closed. You can encrypt your Vault with a password for additional security, and this is recommended, but keep in mind that while locked you will not receive PoSP staking rewards. on the side note, I was expecting that another exchange (RAWX) will add CBX but dame, only the top 5 from the poll are added on their beta release.

I understand why there are so many disgruntled investors of this coin. But like any other ICO coins, the price drop is inevitable. If you know better, you could have just dump it at the early hours of trading and buyback anytime, that is if you trully believe with what this coin has to offer.
Take ETH for example. Its ICO price has drop within hours after it reach exchange(s). And it took 5 months before its price started to climb.
Bottom line, lets just wait for the development of wave's features and before we know it, its price will soon climb.

the waiting game
kaya dapat talaga long term eh, If you believe in cryptos I believe with what waves can deliver....... in the future. So, holding your waves is not the smartest thing to do right now. I dump my coins on the first hours of trading at bittrex and look, I was able to buy back @33 If you are into trading, it's best to just day trade your tokens. Believe me, mas malaki pa ang kikitain nyo keysa mag hold kayo long term

LiSK will be 90k soon, im buying now thanks for selling to me ))))))))))))))) I'm skeptical that will happen anytime soon. I'm just wondering what is happening to lisk. While ETH has regained almost half of its lost value on the pre-DAO fiasco, LSK is lagging far behind. Are we expecting a "good" news from Max on his China visit?

122 BTC wall on 40k...wtf
This is the strategy of the manipulaters, to eat the coins in low price. No wonder the price of waves won't go up. Imagine, that is about 17% of all the buy support. hah Not unless another exchanges will add waves, we won't be seeing people laughing on their way to the bank or to a car dealership to buy lambo.

I have calmed down since yesterdays tsunami on this thread, i bought all the waves I could afford with what btc I had all under 37k sat and now will relax, placed a few sell orders high up so once they ever reach those prices I can make my investment back and rest of my WAVES will stay put for very long term and that's it really. So you didn't after all burned your 700 waves was laughing when you mentioned you've created another waves address after importing. anyway, driving can be fun, you should learn it. its like playing a driving game in real world once you get to know how to. Auto-transmission could get you places still. "driving is freedom" heard it from a movie. perhaps lady qi figured what she did wrong and was able to get back in control of her waves. Anyways, what I think about just holding your waves is not that profitable. Since day 1 on bittrex, I'm buying and selling and was able to gain a decent amount. Trully, I have almost doubled my waves from ICO just by trading. Perhaps, I was just lucky to dump and buy back at the right time. and unto driving, "beautiful paths are only discovered by drivers"

lisk going back to 50k.
Its a nice move.
The price appreciation of lsk has something to do with the sudden turn of events on btc price. Many traders want to buy lsk (or any other altcoins on that matter) now that their btc worth more before it is too late.

If the new dev remains quiet how could we know that he/she is working unto something?
I agree with thoth-Atlantian and fortunecrypto that for this coin to move forward, the new dev should make his/her presence felt by the community. To say that the new dev wants to be anonymous so as to avoid trolls and personal attack is like leaving this coin and the community to its own to prosper.
For an altcoin to be successful, it needs a dedicated dev and a supportive community. How can then the community be supportive to a faceless dev?
|
|
|
why lisk is going down...? OMG...
With no apparent negative news, but no positive news either, its just the market playing with the price. If you hold a lot of LSK, then I suggest that you don't look the market price for you not to get panicked.

Very impressive stance taken by Cryptopia, which will make them earn less money but makes sure they abide by fair market principles: they are delisting Ethereum!!!!! Let's hear it from Cryptopia: Cryptopia believes in immutable blockchain technology, We believe that ETH forking their network to save the failures of a 3rd party software developer sets a dangerous precedent as this will open the floodgates to rollbacks for any other potential fund loss of ETH, Had this been the fault of the ETH network core itself this would not be an issue, but since DAO has nothing to do with the ETH network this action seems to be totally motivated my money and investor pressure, with all this in mind Cryptopia have decided to remove ETH from the site to avoid the upcoming fork and any inevitable future forks to save ICO investors., Please close all open orders and withdraw your ETH BEFORE the hardfork is implemented as we WILL NOT be upgrading to the new hardfork, Thanks The wind is turning, finally after this tough ICO season, ETH, TheDao have hacking issues (launched too fast), Waves is turning out to be a fiasco, Lisk's staking algorithm (DPoS) is aimed directly at making money for its initial investors... It seems most of these people have implemented 2.0 to line their pockets, and the pockets of their friends. Perhaps this will push some honest and good traditional Cryptos like CBX. Perhaps CBX has something to learn from this Crypto 2.0 craze though: there might be something in it for CBX to evolve with. More on this soon. But it seems we'll be having some fork as well right? But our Fork is not as damaging as the ETH one. Not damaging at all, Dekker. Gotta tackle the logistics, but ETH may 'HF' 'cause of a screw up. I own ETH, but absolutely agree with the sentiments in the last coupla posts. I agree with Vons. HF to implement a better design, that is to make CBX a better coin is totally different with the planned HF of ETH. But then again, there two opposing views on ETH hardfork and I couldn't care less becuase I don't own ETH of DAO tokens at all.
