Is Vlad still banned?Any news? When are we going to be escaping the rat race after our bags moon?I have over 1k ixcoin and am now officially a baller:-))

Vlad is on rumble. He cannot post or answer messages here. Glad to hear you are now officially an IXC baller but don't get excited because we are all still technically peasants and outcasts with ixcoin worth a mere 2 cent  Grin

However, investing in it is a bit like investing in mental illness.

It's a crazy world so it could be a great investment besides most of us on this thread are a bit mentally ill ...I mean a bit special   Cheesy

What ever was the point of this thread? I've checked it out here and there for years and never understood it?

It refers to another coin created alongside bitcoin that will one day rise from the ashes or something like this. Only Vlad knows the full story.

small beginnings are ok but  ideas must be big ------- there is no solid idea behind this project yet  ---- white paper review could be a start

No white paper will be needed once the design (and specially the logo) is revealed.

- develCuy

How will the logo negate the need for the whitepaper? Will be be using original IXcoin whitepaper?Excuse my ignorance here.

I was just trying to say that I'm not running IXC, I'm not the right person for taking care of the whitepaper. Vlad is the right person and we should have him back to bitcointalk, past stuff is water under the bridge, let's keep moving forward!

Vlad is banned from bitcointalk, twitter etc so how do we get him back?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IxCoin Future on: June 13, 2022, 10:58:08 PM
First of all, sorry for the delay, but it was for a good reason!

kickback, sandboxsand, cornhodlr, ViqRa, realdantreccia and other IXC people that contacted me via private channels, I can't be more thankful for your kind vote of trust on my proposal! Now we have many challenges upfront but we'll conquer any obstacle if we team for the brighter future we all wish for IXC.

Next step is to plan a little bit before we take any action. I propose the following topics (in no particular order):

- Fast-forward IXC codebase to Bitcoin 23.x base
- New website
- Organic marketing (social networks)

Can you share with me what is top priority for you? Choice along your comments would be much appreciated!

See: original post

I would say that any of the suggestions above maybe starting with a new website and then some good marketing. Then if interest is generated and there is some good trading activity we can move to technical development to keep momentum going. Maybe there is little point in doing any technical development until the community grows and there is more trading and price action to help fund development?

Any exciting news with Devcoin these days friends?

Guys any idea why Devcoin is named Devcoin3 on coinmarketcap or is this a mistake?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/devcoin/  it appears as Devcoin3 so not sure why the number 3 is added?

Exciting, of course. You can run Devcoin Core 22.x if you compile and run on Linux! We're past block 516000 and that is the block for SegWit activation. We need more nodes. So far the majority run Devcoin Core 22.x (5 peers and 29.4% or so of todays Devcoiners on the network - but I think we need more. @develCuy would know how many - I am unsure).

Here's the branch you can run to support this version: https://github.com/devcoin/core/tree/22.x

I don't quite remember how I set up 22.x ("Devcoin Core") on Ubuntu but I remember this Issue discussion helped me figure it out and I commented at the time I first started running it. Since then I keep a node running remotely 24/7 to support SegWit activation!

Discussion in "Issues": https://github.com/devcoin/core/issues/73
(cpsilent and develCuy's conversation was particularly helpful from early 2022)...

As for Coinmarketcap? Illuminati would know, me I am not one of those people but I did notice and have tweeted about it quite a bit. It's odd, but also kinda cool? Maybe Satoshi knows... =P

I am not as technically adept as you Dan so I just run the wallet on windows OS. I will have to look into how to do this as as I have never used Linux before so it would certainly be interesting to try it.

Re: Devcoin3 , I wonder if maybe they mixed up the name and confused it with DEVCON3? Also noticed these re: having the number 3 added.

ElectrumSV- ensure not from any scammer is a good wallet to recover old coins always. Not sure about Handcash, but that's also very good wallet app

Bitcoin-sv team are pretty worthless at warning users about scams out there. A while back there was a website that looked official and had the electrum wallet for download. I lost many coins due to the fraud and the site was still up for ages afterwards.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IXCoin [IXC] The Original Bitcoin Sidechain on: May 16, 2022, 10:45:22 AM

I0Coin is probably even better than IXC really, since sometimes only IXC not also I0C got onto exchanges, so I am pretty sure less I0C was stolen over the last decade or so.

Ixcoin works perfectly and I never had any issues with the wallet or syncing the chain and transactions are fast but the amazing thing about i0coin is how it still works perfectly once you manage to get the wallet open and the blockchain synched up although it can take many hours for the wallet to just open sometimes. Still it's not bad from a coin that seems to have been long abandoned.

Not familiar with this but maybe somebone can chime in about this on the ixcoin thread if you ask there. I never heard Vlad speak about this over the many years he has been here.

Here is another riddle for Vlad.Maybe he can enlighten us :-)

{quote} Vlad is not my twin brother, I used just used his Old Forum ID Vlad and created the  new ID Vlad2Vlad for a secret purpose. The main purpose was to tell the tale of the Twin Brothers who used to ruled the world and currently rulling the world and will rule the world in the future by Cybernetics.

Well, as you have noticed my presence, so must reveal the truth about IXC. I X C is secret term used by the Lord Monem. Its secret meaning is God that you worship and adore is realy a dictatorial evil God who love to control the world population by centralization. Centralisation is the nature of Aristotolian dictatorship which is actually evil. The true God human need is the Lord God Monem, who is the God of Money. The English world Money came from the Sumerian word Monem. Now, the Lord God Monem has descended on earth with Bitcoin and Blockchain. He will soon complete his work accordingly. You have full knowledge of his work.

I am thinking what to do with clone IXC ?  Well, if you want me to do something with it then you can ask me and I will recite Abra ka Dabrah, and yoiu will see the resault for yourself. End up the year 2022, I am thining to recover the IXC first to produce a reformation protocol with quantum numerical logic that can play a role to shape it accoirding to the wish of Lord Monem.

PS: IXC is not an Alt Coin. It is a Protocol and working art. www.bitmonem.com

Hi,what is this related to as I cannot find out anything about it in relation to ixcoin and where did you find this info above please? Thanks.

I "zero" coin.  Zero premine.  Zero inflation by 2018.  Zero gimmicks.  I0coin doesn't play games with your money.

I0coin is merge mined with Bitcoin to produce a massive network hash rate and an energy efficient mining environment.  Very little extra energy is required to generate I0coins and secure its block chain.  I0coin's huge hash rate means it is the most secure crypto-currency with a block time under 10 minutes.  Its network hash rate ranks consistently in the top 5% compared to ALL other crypto-currencies.  Besides being very secure, I0coin has a very low rate of inflation because it's mostly mined already.  This guarantees the price will not be devalued due to new coins being circulated, as is the case with many other crypto-currencies.  In fact, many of the most popular cryptos don't even have a maximum coin cap.  They will be produced forever, and their price will suffer just like fiat currencies have for decades.

I0coin is almost an exact clone of Bitcoin with just a few changes.  The primary difference is a much faster block time, 1.5 minutes, compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes.  Thus, I0coin will reach its 21 million maximum coin total much faster.  I0coin will generate 99% of its coins by March 2015, compared to 2032 for Bitcoin.

I0coin doesn't use risky gimmicks or add useless features which only make it harder to maintain a reliable network.   The goal of the I0coin development team is to stay up to date with Bitcoin releases to ensure I0coin is a very stable, low risk digital currency.  I0coin changes benefit from being tested and proven on Bitcoin first.

I0coin makes an excellent choice when the high security of Bitcoin is desired, but faster block times are needed.  It's perfect for vendors because transactions are confirmed fast.  It also enables I0coin to have higher transaction throughput.  Bitcoin devs have been expressing concern over their transaction volume hitting a ceiling soon.  I0coin has a much higher ceiling because it processes its transactions every 1.5 minutes instead of every 10 minutes.

Fast block times make for a great platform for financial extensions like Colored Coins, Counterparty, and Mastercoin.  I0coin's lower price means it can support smart contracts and smart assets for a much lower cost than Bitcoin.

Dear IxCoin community,

It's been about 2 months since launched the new IxCoin website: https://ixc.devcoin.org (announced here) and @markm explained the relevance of IXC for the Galactic Millieu (GM) which in turn is a key project for the Devcoin Foundation (DF). As head of such organization I'm concerned about the future of IXC, since it is already an important component of an ecosystem carefully designed by markm and one a valuable type of asset in DF's custody.

What we find currently (and correct me if I'm wrong):

1. No development has been performed since Sept 2015 (only updates to text files)
2. There isn't any form of organization supporting the project
3. The website is outdated (DF is on charge of hosting only)
4. There is only one working exchange, hopefully with some liquidity, yet with low volume

I can't help with number 4, I suck at trading and market making! What I can help with is with 1, 2 and 3. My contributions to the Devcoin project since 2014 vary from reorganizing leadership, community management (recently delegated to @realdantreccia), taking care of main website, maintaining the code base and recently upgrading it from a Bitcoin 0.8.x base to the latest Bitcoin 22.x (and 23.x coming soon), all while holding the weight of an Admiral role (yeah, the one blamed for everything). If you consider that such a background deserve any vote of trust and that I have the potential to make any positive impact for YOUR project, then please let me know your insight here in this forum.

I'm listening.

- develCuy

You have my vote on this also. Ixcoin has great potential!

We have some exact date whiners like vlad is satoshi or can time travel.  Well, he can time travel but it seems his trasmorgafire is down and in the east bloc there no way for him to generate the one gigawatt he needs given their power grid can’t handle household appliances.  Anyway, also a reminder to join the PUBLIC OFFICIAL TELEGRAM ROOM.  It’s free for now for all chimps.

I was going to sign up for this but it doesn't work on my phone unfortunately.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: February 01, 2022, 07:05:00 PM

Kickback and anybody else, you don’t like it, then you take the abuse I’ve taken.  You starve your kids to pay devs you maggot.

Not sure why youre calling me a maggot here Vlad because I've done nothing wrong to anyone or insulted anyone either ever. Not sure whats going on here to be honest or are there others behind the scene of IXcoin you are referring to?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IXCoin [IXC] The Original Bitcoin Sidechain on: February 01, 2022, 06:57:49 PM
Here’s another billionaire I can name cause he’s a homo maggot.  9 years ago I was harassing everyone big to get them aboard Ixc. I told THEM BTC had a flaw it will die and be replaced.  And ixc is the twin.

One of these douche bags was Brock Pierce. Maybe pure coincidence but the very next morning someone bought 200,000 ixc at market.  That fool who’s an insider knew Less than me.

You see, they want me to bleed cause they fear me being rich.  Let these bastards pay or kill the coin.

Here’s, a clue they won’t kill the coin, but if they over 1 btc they’re not exactly geniuses.

They’ll pay or I’ll soon make it $84,000 for 1 year.  This is not extortion, it’s what believe the Ixcoin.io one year rental is worth.  You don’t like it don’t pay it.  And working for free for 9 years plus Craig owes me 1 btc, I’m the one who was used and abused.  That’s over with.  Oh, I was vaguely asked to be a mason which I kindly refused but felt honored to be asked.  The reason was that I thought i would automatically denounce God.  No money is worth that.

Just so you know how deep this goes.  $42k is pennies.  They just hate the thought of me having it now.  I’ll raise it to millions if alts take off.  Fair warning.

~CfA~

Apologies Vlad. I didn't know it was yourself so that's why I asked the question. What I meant was the fact some of us here may be whales (depending on what amounts to become a whale) but could still be poorer than any anyone because I only had about .5 BTC which I spent all on alts including IXC that have dumped so are basically worthless now. If I held onto the .5 BTC I would have tens of thousands of dollars. I also have some on cryptsy that some of that .5 BTC was spent on but probably will not see them again anyway. I used up all my bitcoin to buy alts and made the wrong decision by the looks of it because now if I had .5 BTC I could buy many times the alts I already have that are worth nothing. This is what I am trying to explain here but if there are actual millionaires or billionaires in the community then yes to pay for a domain is not a lot for them.
