Please Vote: Include Hush in FreeWalletHey all, Core Dev here. We are working on getting added to FreeWallet's newer multi-coin wallet. This would enable our community to have mobile access to their HUSH for the first time. Please vote for the addition here: https://freewallet.org/voteP.S. We have a lot of work going on behind the scenes and will get a community update out soon. First posts will be: Steemit, Discord, Official Forum, Reddit, Bitcointalk. Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Yes, but i arleady have new version. I download it again, make repair and still not working. any ideas? anyone have same problem? Go to C:/User/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Hush and backup wallet.dat to desktop (this is your keys). Remove everything else in folder. Then launch the daemon/wallet. The will force a resync and *should* help. Don't forget to replace the new wallet.dat with your backup wallet.dat. Yes. Working fine. And then i replaced it with my wallet.dat. But now i have 0 on balance. May be i see all my coins after sync? Yes, after the chain has fully sync'd you should see your correct balance.

Guys, on Cryptopia wallet i get the following message:
"Status: Maintenance
Unfortunately we are unable to process your withdrawal at this time.
Status: Maintenance Reason: 08/11/17 - wallet has no connections"
How come wallet has no connections? Do the need updated nodes or something?
Core dev here, We have a ticket in with them, sounds like they did not update their hushd in a timely manner.

Just to chip in with some criticism - setting up wallets for is relatively tedious compared to QT wallets.
In an ideal world, it would be a one-click installation. The average end-user shouldn't care or have to care about compiling anything, having a daemon running or setting up configuration files.
It eludes me why Swing is used at all, but that's more of a personal preference tbh.
It is a one-click install for Windows, CPAN/deb for Linux. We are working on our next-gen wallet suite (HushNG) which will be a portable, cross-platform solution. It will include wallet, messenger, GUI mining (GPU + CPU), HushParty. Some features will appear after launch.

I am using current version of wallet. I did re-download and re-install. Still same problem
Hello, core dev here. If you are still having issues sync'ing, even after installing the new version (v1.0.12), please do the following. - Backup Wallet: Copy wallet.dat to a safe location.
- Remove blockchain files: Navigate to whatever folder your blockchain data is located and remove all files.
- Start Wallet: This will force a completely new sync.
Once the sync has completed you can overwrite the wallet.dat file with the one your backup. Hope this helps!

Do not worry about bittrex, but buy when the price is low on cryptopia.
If you believe in the project and its development, you do not need to ask any questions about bittrex. Few project deserves to enter on bittrex, but HUSH is part of its projects!
Just started to look into Hush again today and I agree right now Hush is the only one of the anon forks of ZEC that actually has a roadmap worth a damn and active development. Patience is the name of the game this may take awhile Bittrex isn't really adding any other coins atm just buy and forget about them check back next year. Thank you for your candid statements on our development roadmap. Our timelines are hard to hold because @radix42 is the only "full-time" dev and I have the dreaded day job and a two month old girl. We work as fast as real life will allow us . Also the whole goal of HUSH and our team is to decentralize. We would love to be listed on Bittrex and have been actively working towards this goal (been hard with the BCC fork lately). We are also working on the ability for our users to buy/sell of SuperNET (decentralized exchange, will have built-in support in next HUSH wallet). I am not sure on the progress but we are also trying to be added on: HitBTC, Liqui, YoBit. These will all provide more liquidity.

PSA === PLEASE move your miners OFF SuprNova Pool immediately! The pool has consistently over 60% of the hashrate! There are many other pools with the same reliability and better fees, you are harming the network by spreading your hashrate so thin and open everyone to double-spending attacks! https://miningpoollists.com/hush/The only concern with having that high of a hashrate is if you don't trust the pool owner's intentions. That is not an issue here, Suprnova is trustworthy and proven. For me it is. I don't know this owner personally and just having a good track record does not prove to me there is no bad intentions. See MTGox, GAWMiner etc... I agree. Majority hashrate only indicates the (remote) possibility of controlling the network.
I don't know how a core developer could chime in here as well and proclaim a pool having over 51% of the hashrate is of minor concern. This is a serious threat to the network and downplaying it won't solve this issue at all. Wat? Double spending attacks? They have nothing to do with hashrate on one pool.
How do they have nothing to do with the hashrate on one pool? https://coinsutra.com/bitcoin-double-spending/ is just one reliable source for this. My 2cts... The issue here is not the core dev team (with regards to hashrate). The issue is that miners are not choosing to equally spread out hashing power. They consolidate on big pools because they think they will gain more profit. Maybe the mining community should help inform these miners. I have no ill-will with ocminer, he has a great pool. I am also not a miner so I have very little actual input on the subject.

Hush Team Alert: Core Developer Account(s) Compromised
Hello I am @mreichardt, a Hush core developer. Today, 11 August, one of our team member's had their accounts hacked. As a result, our twitter and most other accounts have been compromised. Do not trust anything currently being posted by @myhushteam on Twitter, and be on the lookout for scammers requesting funds for donation. Our official website's DNS account was hacked as well, be on the lookout for nefarious redirects. Pay attention to usernames for Hush admins. For official status and news updates please check Slack.
We will release updates here as well as we have more information.

Hi, I would like to know where I can find more info about the messaging feature? It will be an app like Line, kik, whatsapp etc, with encrypted messages, friends list, or it's something else?
Hello, Core dev and Hush Messenger lead here. To start it will be a standalone cross-platform app (Linux, Mac OS, Windows) that runs on-top of your local node (hushd). It all messages between all parties will be encrypted by default with one-to-one and group messages all on our timeline. Please take a look at the Steemit article I authored on the subject. https://steemit.com/crypto/@mreichardt/hush-messenger-secure-e2e-messaging-on-the-hush-blockchain

Thanks.
We have a mining section on our official forums where miners have been sharing their hash rates and settings. forum.myhush.org

What is the difference between sending HUSH to my public address vs private address?
The main difference between a public (T) and private (Z) address is just that. With public addresses you can see all the details on the block explorer. With private addresses, a third party is unable to determine your transactions or balance. Thank you for the prompt response. Is their a fee if I internally transfer tokens from T to Z? Yes there would be the standard network transaction fee, just like any other transaction.

This project has a good team and the progress is also pretty fast I am curious about the impact of being added to Bittrex.
Thank you for the nice words! We hope that, should we become traded on Bittrex, daily trading volume will significantly increase. Due to the additional exposure provided, we hope this will enable HUSH to either achieve a stable price or an increase based on our tech roadmap and active development.

Great job. I'm super excited about this project. I'm developing an open source MMO for the blockchain space and I have not settled on a platform yet. I think HUSH looks like it could be the right place for me because we seem to have similar goals. HUSH is the people's coin and I'm trying to make the people's MMO.
We are planning to port Counterparty over to Hush which will enable our users to issue assets and sub-assets on-chain to taddr's (to start). This development and deployment could be beneficial for your project. Issuing assets representing in-game items, etc., that are player-tradable from in-game and from a wallet seems very enticing.
