Not for a human.... i did once take a dive into ice cold water for a cat though, looked like he was in trouble not being able to keep his head up anymore. Took a dive, brought it ashore, looked at me like i was an alien and ran off lol
Helping animals especially in danger can be very dangerous!
I helped dog caught in trap for foxes on countryside. He almost bite me. He didn't recognize what i'm going to do with him so all his anger was at me.
Soon as i released him, he start to run and start to howling.
This was not heroic this was foolish..
I was sorry for him, but if you ever find yourself in similar situation call for help from professionals.

This is about in real life right? Not about being a hero member here as all knows that takes time and alot of helping people along the way. But in real life anybody can be a hero in an instant, just by making the right decision in a split second situation.
I disagree with you, i know many people who just can't move their legs in such dangerous situations.
And few people who are real heroes, and in every situation they they have attitude that makes them what they are!

Quite a few years ago, I went to the aid of a bus driver who was being attacked by three yobs.
Trying to rob this man of his daily takings, foolishly I took them on and threw them off the bus, problem solved I thought.

Unknown to me another assailant was also on the rampage and hidden on the bus, I never even seen it coming.

Blinded by some incredible light my eyes see red, it was blood, never knew it at the time, it was making my head throb, thump thump thump.

I learn later that the robber that hit me over the head , used a retractable steel baton.

Any how, to cut a long story short, the fkrs got off with it, busman retired due to (whatever) do not know.

As for me, bad memory forget a lot of things, pains still in my head, due to the severe arterial bleed, I had.

Would I do the same thing again (help) sure I would, and have come, even recenttly to others, in distress.

A lot more can be added here, about how my Father died the very same night as this happened, but this is a bit much even thinking abut it it, hope you understand it ws related to the event.

I will never forget.

Dude this is perfect example how HEROs think and react!
Sad life story, i'm sorry, but thanks for sharing it here!

I'm not a hero. Smiley because too young to be a hero
My hero is my uncle.
Because down to 120 kg from 200 kg in two years period.
This can also be something heroic!
Especially if he made his family proud with this success.

Whether posts are long or short, the posts should add value to a thread and should not be merely because you are getting paid. People usually view threads that cross 10 pages as spam threads but all many not be just spam threads. There are also many users who keep posting the same questions "How to earn BTC" "How to gamble" and so on which makes users answer the same questions over and over again. In my knowledge, the following posts fall in the respective categories:

1. Very poor: "Thanks" "NP" "+1"

2. Poor: Less than 5 words, Posts without any meaning like "I like your idea and feel everyone should like it", "Posts containing too many emoticons" "Repeating the above posts" etc.

3. Average: Posts that are grammatically poor but the content is helpful to the users, engaging in a conversation without going off topic, giving references, posting meaningful content.

4. Good: Posts that are really helpful and have useful information (may it be technical responses regarding bitcoins, mining, wallet recovery and so on).

5. Excellent: Posts that are made by extremely knowledgeable people who give examples, tips, tricks, tutorials and explain their answers with examples. Their responses may be extremely long but the content is useful to one and all.

Obvious trolls and spammers do not fall in any category.
I must quote this answers it's my favorite and is between good and excellent!

Trolls and spammers with or without SIGs?

The Ethereum has risen 400% in the last months. Do you think it has risen too fast? When will it stop?
Can this be marker for stop investing?
Maybe we can see more of moon surface?

Go to Primedice and create an account there.
You can deposit BTC through address or you can use built in faucet..
You will be given some small amount 100 or more satoshis.
You can trade automatic or manual. Go there and try.
More words are unnecessary.
