You're a bigger fool for saying it does nothing but good. I've been smoking weed almost 10 years now & I've seen plenty of people fuck up their lives by smoking weed. It can do a lot of good and a lot of bad depending on whether you are using or abusing it.

Smoke daily, is that abuse?
For most people I would say yes.  Not for you of course, you are special.

I have known a lot of addicts in my time and I have come up with the following rule of thumb:

If you cannot remember the last time you went seven consecutive days without drinking the booze, smoking the cigarette, smoking the pot, etc. then you are an addict.

Conversely, all you have to do to prove you may not be an addict is go seven consecutive days without it.  Thirty days without even better.

But if you cannot go seven days then you are an addict.

That my friend, is false.

Food can be classified as a drug if you think about it very hard. Yet we always decide what type of food to eat and where to go, eating

three times a fucking day. Are we all FOOD addicts? Hey Burt next time when you stuff that hamburger in your mouth for lunch & devour

that spaghetti for dinner, remember, you are a FOOD ADDICT! It's all about knowing what is hurting you and what is the right

JUDGEMENT. Maybe you should fast for a week, then'll you will be DRUG FOOD-FREE. Haha.

ex. Maybe I should stop smoking for a while, not because I'm an addict, but I'm short on bud & I want to smoke with some friends later.

And to Blazr..

People who got their lives "fucked" up over weed, were meant to be fucked up in the first place. If you really think that a harmless plant can

"ruin" your life and take away the most important factor of a human, which is deciding & judgement, than you are a fucking sheep that

follows everything else in the media & propaganda. As humans, we love to get in an altered state of mind, it's our third eye. People's lives

don't get "fucked" up because they are "abusing" a plant, it's them loving the effect of it & deciding is the effect valuable enough to

overcome my judgement of value? When people get "fucked" up from marijuana, it's always involving LE or some junk government funded

rehabilitation center because of the laws in place today. Marijuana doesn't destroy one's physical attributes as furry coat stated, it can

destroy relationships, friendships, bonds, etc. because of the mislead propaganda and sheeps today in our society & culture.

I did a little research and supposedly he committed suicide.. very sad I wonder why he would do such a thing he had so much promise..

It is not uncommon for young computer nerds to commit suicide.

Personally I think healthy food, regular exercise, socializing and perhaps having a boy/girlfriend, maybe a pet could be factors that could greatly help in having less suicides. Ah, and of course, getting out and getting some actual air and sunshine on their face.

And of course, I agree with everyone else - this is a tragedy.

For those interested, here's a list of MIT undergrad suicides, not an uncommon occurence:
http://web.mit.edu/~sdavies/www/mit-suicides/

I agree doing those things above definitly can prevent suicide. I think being in the same environment can make you feel hopeless and depressed.

I agree 100% in the 2nd ammendment. If you think guns should be banned in America you are either misinformed or stupid. What I dont get is theres over 300,000,000 people in the united states, every time we have a shooting suddenly theres mass hysteria and call for reform, taking guns away from the countless responsible owners. People need to slow down and look at the FACTS. Guns protect our freedom, guns save more lives then they take, and "Assault rifles" are no different then hunting rifles, that is if they are semi automatic, which is the only way their availble to the general public. People need to stop thinking the police will be there to always help them, they wont. And if/when shit hits the fan a whole lot of "moms against guns" gonna get raped, robbed, and killed.

31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What online services would you pay for with bitcoin? on: January 06, 2013, 07:38:22 PM
I would pay for everything that accepts it. My dream is before a decade people will use bitcoin for shopping, music, porn etc

Yes for sure! that is definitely going to happen

Transferring coins in a matter of seconds would also be a issue. If you wanted to buy a loaf of bread you would have to log on and send the Bitcoins. We need a debit card that can be loaded with Bitcoins.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the greatest threat to Bitcoin? Some possible technical problem or gov? on: January 06, 2013, 07:29:17 PM
Idiots.

Idiots have always been and to this day remain the main threat to anything man made. Idiots infiltrating the US Gov't have pretty much doomed that enterprise, at one point the most successful thing on God's green Earth. Idiots infiltrating Bitcoin have nigh on brought it to its knees already.

+1 agree 100%

36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Expansion? on: January 06, 2013, 03:11:29 AM
I wonder how much of the value in a bitcoin at the moment is due to it being the accepted chip at the worlds biggest dice game.

What is this gambling site called? Wouldnt mind checking it out.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Expansion? on: January 05, 2013, 11:21:48 PM
In a way I hope Bitcoin isnt used more in gambling websites. It already has a bad rep as it is, (drugs, money laundering, etc) more criminal activity and people will start looking at Bitcoin as a currency for criminals.

Sorry, but i had to comment on this. Do you really think your fooling people with making newbie accounts and posting on this thread that the deal has gone through? Both "MisterBobby"  "sharphash" and "kovkov75"  have never posted anywhere BUT this thread. Your other "customers" have very little posts and all their accounts created in December, "kovkov75's" account was created yesterday. Do you think were that stupid? Gtfo
