Well it does seem like an extremely high proportion of stale and duplicate work. I know this isn't related to hardware errors but there is one miner which seems to be producing a relatively high percentage of HW errors also.  I didn't screenshot that as it's only about 1.6%.

You're misreading the graph. Hashrate and rejects have different scales, one on the left side, the other one on the right side. Under 1% of rejects is not high.

Ah,  thanks for that.  I guess I'm reading the numbers in the pop up info box wrong too? I've never used ghash.io before. Just out of interest, what difficulty should be set for S3 use on ghash.io? My ghash.io account defaulted to 1024 initially but I thought this to be too high, so set it to 256 like it was with vardiff on Eligius.

I am very disappointed. I will never buy from them!

What's that all about and where exactly was that screenshot taken from? What website?

ANTMINER S3 -B2

My UPS account

You don't need to have a UPS account to see that info do you? Surely the sender (Bitmain) just provide a tracking number that one can use anonymously on the UPS website to track delivery progress?

2 Antminer S3
Stock Clocks

1 day 5 hours in....441 GH/s avg speed per Antminer S3
Temps 41-43
All chips working!
Pool showing avg of 900 gh/s avg with peaks to 1000 gh/s and lows to 850 gh/s....WestHash.com

Second pair already passed customs and is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. So I will have 4 devices setup. I hope to see some 2 Th/s on the peaks! Hehe!

Will run stock clocks for at least a week. I am pulling 730 watts for two antminers s3 connected to a 850 watt power supply.

Don't try to use the dell 750 server power supply it won't handle two antminer S3's on stock clocks. I moved these all to my Zeus Miner Hurricane X3. Dumped my old GPU rigs and used the power supplies that were in there. everything is running fine now.

Hate to see my electric bill next month though...hehe!

The people bitching about the shipping, you got to use DHL if your in the states. They let you pre-sign too.

Looks like my last batch was shipped yesterday and will arrive tomorrow that's less than 2 days.

It sucks that there are still people with stuff held up in customs that was batch 3....I feel for you.

DHL....DHL....

UPS sucks ass!

So what should Bitmain customers in the UK use for shipping? EMS,  UPS or DHL? Which one is best for customs and delivery times? Which one delivers direct? Which one holds packages the longest / shortest? Which one doesn't add stupid admin charges before delivery?

Just an FYI, i purchased a B5 less than 2 days and received shipping info this morning.  They must be really close to shipping out all the batch 5s

WTF !

I purchased my two orders of two units each on the 31st of last month and the 1st of this month and haven't seen crap for movement, also no emails.

00120140801211254237fmCrdwd106E4 (Paid / Unshipped / Valid)

00120140731065209000syMzET0b06C7 (Paid / Unshipped / Valid)

I'm having the same problem as you.  I contacted both via pre-sale and after sales with a similar question,  asking when my order would be shipped first and then asking why others appear to have been shipped ahead of my order of four units when their orders were made days later than mine. I have yet to receive any response on the Bitmain website messaging system.

One of my machines came pretty mangled up using DHL. Looks like it was scuffs from the factory as most of the damage looked like rubbing damage which wouldn't happen in shipping.

Just a heads up.

I am debating to send it back or keep it, looks to be hashing 430, while every other batch 5 is at 440+. Meh.

When did you order yours? I asked some else but as of yet have no reply.  Where are you based?
29  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 05, 2014, 04:49:37 PM
So it seems that the Batch 5's went out early as six of them arrived to me in the UK a little unexpectedly this morning.  Not that I'm complaining, I just hadn't sorted the PSU's yet as I was expecting them to take longer to get here.  Just letting others know so you can expect them soon.

Cheers,
bitK

What shipping company did you use and when did you complete payment for the order? I'm just curious as I have 4 from batch 5 ordered and I'd like some idea as to when they are likely to arrive here in the UK.

Spam deleteed. I've not been active for many months. It was wrong of me not to look into the so called competition.  Do I really receive forgiveness? Do I get edited off the shitlist?

If any actions will be taken against the accounts in the first message, than the same actions should be taken to these accounts. They do the same things.

I'm no spammer, friend. I resent the implication.

Here is the simple difference.

1 post on an ethical / trust concern vs what BFL shills and BFL multiple accounts repeating non-sense now 6 or more times. That is spam and that is not allowed there is no way anyone is violating someone else's trust day after day. BFL Scammed millions over a long period and that constituted individuals to post once against their trust not a day after day campaign. When people post a single negative comment regarding a single event or concern then that is fair use of the system. For example I posted that BFL are being sued in Rapturoso trust as he is helping promote BFL to further defraud the community. I don't need to do this 2x or 3x or 4x. I do this once per spammer. Looks like BFL is only making 1 new multiple account per day now.

New Spammer Today April 7th, 2014:

Rapturoso

Code:
BFL being sued for breach of contract. Case Name:Meissner v. BF Labs Inc. and this
Case Cause:28:1330 Breach of Contract or Case No. 2:13-cv-2617 JURY TRIAL REQUESTED
Do not buy pre-order from BFL and do not use their mining hosting services.

Remember there are hundreds of unfortunate BFL customers that got scammed like Martin Meissner who is still looking to recover $62,000 since 2013 or  William Lolli , who won a judgement of over $13,000 but still can't collect because BFL refuses to pay. How can people promote BFL knowing full well the types of criminals they are? Rapturoso is just one of the many people that do need look more closely at the significant NEGATIVE FINANCIAL impact they are having on this community. This is no joke! People have been hurt financially and these misguided individuals and multiple BFL accounts are continuing to act without any ethics whatsoever.

Give me all the negative trust you like BFL shills there are plenty of media reports out in full view that illustrate what many of have been saying for over a year. BFL is never going to shake their shady history but making contests like this.

Rush of Business for Butterfly Labs

Quote
After selling FPGA miners from September 2011 to 2012, BFL started taking ASIC orders in June 2012. Due to the fact that ASIC was the next-generation machine, everyone wanted it a piece of it. The company was able to sell at least 7,600 orders that were worth $10.2million.

However, a year later, many angry tweets and reddit threads formed because BFL was unable to deliver the machines. To this day, it is still a problem for many people.
