Ang dami pa namang hindi active in social media at yung subsob sa pagtatrabaho sa pamilya nila kaya di nila alam updates and informations about these schemes. Ingat po mga kababayan.

Ang daming nascam dito kamakaylan lang from IWE and nakakaawa karamihan sa kanila kasi sobrang laki nakuhang pera sa kanila.

Magingat sa mga ganitong scam mga kababayan..

Napakaraming ganitong scheme na ang lumabas sa ating bansa and sana naman before investing, check muna natin ito sa site ng SEC since as far as I know, may list sila online. Narinig ko na din BitAccelerate but the other two, hindi pa.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we will see a lot of weak hands at $100K on: February 21, 2021, 11:02:04 AM
We can't blame them, that is a huge profit for a lot of people.

But if we actually reach that price this year, that tells us something. I think people won't just sell their Bitcoin at that time because they knew that it will still reach greater heights. Considering the investments of huge institutions, it could reach further than $100K. And despite people actually selling at that point, I think it will just go back because of its demand.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take team's cohesion into account when betting? on: February 21, 2021, 10:54:35 AM
Supporting what Ted is Pointing here , yeah we Have great individual players and also correct that the team won't win without them and without their ability and skills.
But also lets not forget that the team won't win with only the best player because that's why it is called "Team" because of the group effort and not only because of the said superstars .

But what about the higher leagues?

Let's say the NBA. It is true that a lot of superstars are gathering in one team but we don't know if they are exactly happy with each other. I mean they can still play ball and adjust to what they should be doing because they are a professional athlete and they are paid to do it. Cohesion and a best player matters, in the real world the better team still wins.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 21, 2021, 09:41:22 AM
What do you think? Will this fight still happen?

Been reading some articles about it in the past few days and I think of it not actually related to his fight.

This plan might just be tax evasion and a lot of people are really wanting to evade taxes especially those rich people not even in LA and since taxes in LA really hurts and as said by Logan in an interview:
Quote
"It's getting crazy here in California you know, paying taxes and for what?" Logan said. "Potholes in the streets are not fixed. There are homeless people everywhere ... like I don't know. I don't love it."

He still has his YouTube channel, as far as I know, they are also taxed with that since they are considered Self-employed. I don't know the exact idea of taxation of being a YouTuber in the US but that might one of the reasons why Logan is going to Puerto Rico and some Puerto Ricans are not happy with it.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sponsor Money from Casino, Is bad or Good? on: February 21, 2021, 09:28:18 AM
Any streamer, if he talks about any product or organization, does not do it for free! So I don't care whose money he uses... I don't really trust streamers or bloggers at all... It started with reviews of different ICOs ... Cheesy
There are streamers who give honest review about the platforms which is even sponsored but we shouldn't have to trust them blindly because we are going to use our own money so basic research also important before choosing a new platform in any field.

Better do your own research.

There are a lot of kinds of streamers/YouTubers and not all of them are honest with their reviews. They are also smart and might throw us off with some discounts and promos but it is better to do your own research or maybe ask about it here in the forum. Another thing is that as far as I know, ads on Youtube that are related to alcohol and gambling can be turned off. If viewers can do this, why accept those ads in the first place?
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 21, 2021, 06:34:29 AM
Still for me sports betting has to have luck too in order to succeed, like when I bet on a match in the Bundesliga. The results of the match last week
were mostly draws, this is not in accordance with the analysis I have done for the match. So knowing our team or players does not guarantee success
when betting, it still takes the luck factor. But when compared to doing sports betting without knowledge, it is indeed better to have knowledge of
the teams or players who will play.

And how frequent does that happen?

Based on your statement, it just happened once last week. Going against the majority, as the other said is very hard. Yeah, something like what you've experience sometimes happens but it is not that frequent. Maybe 2 or 3 out of 10 games, it would happen. That is why we look at the players and news about it and base our bets on that.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 21, 2021, 03:29:50 AM

I dont think that if Crawford has to counter offer, he's not in the place to do that though, imo.

I agree with that.

What Terence Crawford can do now is to take this offer or not. If he will not be accepting this offer, this will be the biggest fight he will be rejecting. But with his recent fight against Brook, after that fight, he said that he wanted a shot against Manny Pacquiao and now it is here. I think we should set aside the money they will be getting, this fight will surely happen.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 21, 2021, 03:24:44 AM
In your opinion, can someone trading without experience or knowledge?

They can but they should be prepared.

There are a lot of investors that wanted some people to start with a small amount without any knowledge or experience. That is good for some but for some, it won't go right. Others also rely on what will just happen and learn from it but some won't just rely on what will happen while do some effort to make something happen so it won't go to waste.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: February 21, 2021, 02:14:12 AM
First thing they will teach you in Economics class is the Supply and Demand. And this mainly affects the price of Bitcoin. What is amazing about it is that it is being 'controlled' by the consumers unlike the other currencies which is being controlled by the government. Yes it is volatile and a lot of other factors may affect the price. However, what's good about it is that it is universal and no country has the power to manipulate it's price.

That is so true.

As these countries can limit the use of Bitcoin in their country, they can't stop it completely as no one can actually stop Bitcoin from functioning. Right now with a lot of big names/companies that wanted to invest in Bitcoin, this could be a threat to that decentralization. Nothing may change or everything will completely change in the future.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Institutional investors are buying Bitcoin's future... How do we stop this? on: February 21, 2021, 01:54:58 AM
The best that we can do is to educate people on how Bitcoin works and stop patronizing or getting services coming from institutions and only patronize institutions or companies that comply with Bitcoin's principle, if ever Paypal Crypto features comes to my country or they accept people coming from my region, I don't think I'm going to use their service.

That won't change anything here.

You may not use their service but there are millions that would use their service giving them profit and maybe put it in their investment in Bitcoin and execute their plan in the future. They are taking advantage of decentralization, I think in the end it will just fall into these people and we can't do anything but just be ready for what may happen.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria led global crypto adoption in 2020 on: February 20, 2021, 12:04:34 PM
I want to see how positive that effect will be in that country in the near future.

I am also surprised that our country is 3rd considering that there are a lot of people that still don't know what Bitcoin is and cryptocurrency as a whole. I guess that is because of the application that we use that even though they are not directly using Bitcoin, they can see it as a mode of payment. That is the case that I see from my friends and some people that I talk to when they hear me talk about Bitcoin.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 20, 2021, 11:30:48 AM
$10 million is a bit low isn't it? Is this amount even confirmed? I heard that Manny is asking for $40 million. If he manages to get a fight against Floyd (looks impossible as of now) or GGG (the weight difference is an issue), then he can easily rake in at least $100 million. Anyway, if he wants to use the fight against Terence Crawford as a preparation, then it is OK. In that case he don't need to worry much about the money.

It is low compared to Pacquiao's catch.

Although looking at the amounts he's getting from his past fights, that would be one of the biggest salaries he will be having with his last fight against Brook being said at $4M. A fight against Floyd Mayweather is possible but that would be hard to arrange and considering how Mayweather wants to enjoy his retirement with exhibition matches, I think it is near to impossible.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take team's cohesion into account when betting? on: February 20, 2021, 10:46:49 AM
Janation, but can the performance be good if the team has some internal conflicts? And if cohesion corresponds to performance, does it mean it's enough to just look at recent performance and assume that it's a sign of the team's strong level of cohesion?
Another question I don't see answered yet is this: if one does want to evaluate a team's cohesion, where would one look for such information? Rumors? Watching recent matches? Or perhaps this data is already evaluated by someone somewhere?

That is why I am not looking at it as I said previously.

I based my bets on the past performances of the team. I would not know whether the performance of a team was affected by their internal conflict because, in the first place, it would be hard to know that. As I also said, it is hard to see or analyze a team's cohesion, all we can look at or analyze is the performance they have based on the records they have that game.

What we can hear is just rumors about something but I don't believe those, it is called rumor for a reason.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take team's cohesion into account when betting? on: February 20, 2021, 09:20:21 AM
I do think that cohesion and moral matters a lot in sports. If team mates are in a good mood and work great together everything is possible. Sure a Superstar talent player might be able to turn around a game, but he is just one player. In my opinion it is better if the hole team functions well together. The only problem is that is hard to know the moral of a team. There is no statistical number for this. And since we can't follow the team 24/7 around we will need to use our own interpretations from the news on how good or bad the moral is. Also having the underdog win because of a good chemistry between teammates is what makes great hollywood movies.

The morale of the team can't be seen that easily in their games.

But it won't be that easy because this player/team is in a professional league. Despite their great performance that they will show in the previous or past games, we can't say that they are having problems with their teammate unless a rumour goes around. They are professional players and they could work around and show their talent despite not having any cohesion.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 20, 2021, 09:06:31 AM
There is this mistake I kept doing in the past.

When the price rise immediately, I will be waiting for a certain price and immediately take it out. The problem is that the investment I am making is not that high and I will be paying fees that are bigger than my profit. I didn't notice that those fees are eating my profit until my friend pointed it out to me. He taught me some tricks to save some of my funds to transaction fees.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just smashed $50k on: February 20, 2021, 07:45:29 AM
Right now, it is sitting at $55K.

Just after smashing the $50K price mark, it went further and I think this is just the sign that $50K is not the price mark that would stop its bull run. The next goal is $100K but I don't think it will be that further. I am guessing that the price will stop at $80K this year. Still, there is a chance that it will actually reach $100K this year.

This bull is just sleeping for the past year and now running amok breaking any resistance it gets in the way.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: February 20, 2021, 07:40:42 AM
Basing on the movement it had, I think it will just be like that.

It is not making any huge movements ever since Elon Musk made it pump. The price fell and a lot of investors lost their money in it. I think it will just be like that for a long time. It seems it is not making any movements like other altcoins following Bitcoin in its bull run. Some are still hoping and some already abandon ship and went to other crypto. I think It will reach $1 soon but it will take some time.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $50k? on: February 20, 2021, 06:18:30 AM

After breaking $50K another sets of expectation and speculation was been made, we ain't sure what might be the next level or
how high bitcoin will proceed, the matter now is what action is to take.

That's well said!

We have these sets of expectations to what will happen and of course, we have these sets of strategies and actions considered if that will happen. I hope that should be the idea that others will be expecting as we never know what will happen so we should really be ready. Still, we should consider more the part where it will rise because that would obviously happen .
