I currently have a small grow of 3 Swiss Cheese marijuana plants with harvests every 4 months. I work as a marijuana trimmer for people who grow and I have nearly no work because its not outdoor grow season. Just got finished trimming my last batch and to my pleasant surprise was able to sell the whole batch (4oz's) after only one day with a profit of 750$. The marijuana has received great feedback from my friends who have bought off me, and have repeaditly asked me for more of the swiss cheese. This is my current setup old pictures, not very fancy, I know 400$ went to my rent that was two months behind and the rest to fix my cars broken steering wheel. I want to expand my grow operation with 2 Sun System HPS 150 watt light bulbs which will allow me to add 3 more plants to my grow. The bulbs cost 60$ each plus 20$ shipping will cost 140$. This addition will allow me to make around 1500$+ every 4 months, which I will use to buy more lights to expand my grow. I will be harvesting another grow of mine on 2/6/13 and that will get me 700$ I will use to pay the loan off. The loan of 7 bitcoins will be returned with 10% interest no later then 2/10/13. P.S. I am a medical marijuana patient in the state of California, I keep it legal!

This thread is all hype. I to, wish and pray that Bitcoin may one day reach 10,000$ a coin, but lets be realistic. It can as easily fail from another superior cryptography as much as it may succeed.

Theres nothing wrong with hoarding.. Buying bitcoins helps the market, spending them will help the economy more, but somethings better then nothing.

I believe that actually Kevin doesn't have to give back any of it. He purchased them in good faith. Even if the market was crashing, I would have purchased it if I saw the opportunity.
Now, even if it is on his right to keep them, IF the money belonged to MTGOX (and not a user, but actually the main fund of MTGOX, which seems to be more plausible the more I think) then I guess that for the betterment of the economy and its stability, Kevin should give it back to MtGoX. In exchange of the devolution, MtGox should give a compensation for the act of good faith and allow Kevin to keep the withdrawn amount If the account was a personal one, Kevin has less obligation to give it back to the owner of it. When you make the wrong call playing poker you can't undo it, if you fucked it up, you fucked it up. Period. But still, it would be a nice gesture, and this would be totally from Kevin's generosity, if Kevin gives back partially or totally to the previous owner. A generous compensation for this gesture would be appropriate.
BUT, Kevin has all the rights to keep it and not giving it back to anyone. He would be a total asshole by behaving like that, but it is in his right. Now, everything depends on his will.
MtGox shouldn't rollback shit. The least thing that MtGox can do is to compensate to all users for this scandal and for they negligence/incompetence. The leaked userbase is embarrassing enough, and that needs a fair compensation to all of us who entrusted this site with our money, and in some cases, our life savings (doesn't matter if trusting one's savings is a unsound judgement, the point here is that our trust has been broken).
It takes decades to build trust, and only one second to break it.
Usually, one never recovers full trust with a person, but doing good deeds can help to reestablish the relationship. I hope MtGox understands here that more than profit, trust is actually the backbone of a business. If you don't offer a deal to keep your users happy, expect a bank run.

Can someone explain to me what a "Pennybot" is?

This is because a law has passed in congress requiring more verification for online payment options. They now require you to send proof of location, ID, and tax returns. More power to the Bitcoin!

So what would everyone suggest in which place to use? I just signed up with Bitme.com, never used them before. Apparently the quickest way to buy them is making a cash deposit, which I'm ok with...but I'm just looking for the quickest, most efficient way that's all. If you have past experience with using exchanges or other trading places please post them here please? I appreciate it!
Either cash deposit, or moneypak is the best imo.

MoneyPaks are refundable, I heard some places let you refund, but not all.
