21  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: July 04, 2016, 10:03:26 AM
If the price of bitcoin is higher, more people will know about it due to media reports. Some of them might use bitcoin, that will increase the price.
22  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 19, 2016, 08:12:33 AM
I hold the bitcoin as an investment. That is for the long term investment. I also use the bitcoin as a currency to buy things.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: May 31, 2016, 08:03:06 AM
Price has stabilized a bit might go up again.

That could be right. The price of Etheruem dropped from $15 to $12, that is just 20%. No bubble bursts.

price is stable, lisk is doing good, eth environment is getting bigger. We will see a new all time high

It is quite surprise, the bitcoin price rose a lot in the past week, but the altcoin price did not crash a lot.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Before you get HEAVILY invested in ETH Mining you should read this on: May 22, 2016, 12:34:11 PM
The earlier you came in the better it is for mining while the difficulty is still low but it'll get to the point where mining ETH will only for big farms with low electricity cost.
Is there any cloud mining for the ETH so if anyone who cannot afford to buy mining equipment, we can have an option to just put our investment online?

You can do cloud mining with Genesis Mining. https://www.genesis-mining.com/our-offer.

the price is not cheap.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does finding out who created Bitcoin matter? on: May 10, 2016, 07:44:42 AM
In my opinion, it does not matter who is the creator of Bitcoin. Bitcoin now it is an independent and decentralized currency that gradually develops, and which do not need a host .. And no one can do anything with it, I mean control.

That is what I think. The bitcoin has evolved a lot from the Satoshi days. Even if he does appear, I will treat him the same as other developers.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just spent 15 dollars on ether on: April 26, 2016, 08:11:35 AM
Maybe it was better to sell the Ethereum at $12 a few weeks ago and buy the Ethereum at $5 in a few weeks.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just spent 15 dollars on ether on: April 05, 2016, 03:44:15 PM
You just loose some dollars from your total 15$. Ether price will go down and that's all.  Wink To make profit in altcoins, you must have either very good knowledge or simple fortune.  Grin

Well considering the price of ETH was around $5 when the OP made his first post, and was around $6.50 when you made yours and told him it will only go down, it has hit a peak of $15 or roughly 3x the OPs original investment. Even if he missed selling at that ATH, it has spent plenty of time > $10 for a solid doubling of his investment.

Say he bought 3 ETH at $5 and sold 1 ETH at $15, he got his money back and 2 "free" ETH to play around with. Not seeing how he could have lost out here.

Even today, the Eth price is still over $12. I think the Athereum could be a good medium term investment.

The price is below $11 now. It seems there is some kind of correction going on with the Ethereum.

Did i just lose 15, dollars or make 15 plus 20 cents ?
i honest to god have no clue when i should pull out at 6$ ?

I suggest you cash it out while you can... Ethereum is now just a pump & dump scheme.

I think it is a good investment. Your $15 will turn into $150 in a few years. But it will not be this year.

Not gunna happen...

The Ethereum price is still higher than a month ago. The pump has not finished. I do not know how high it will go. If the price stays here, it is also good.
