21  Other / Off-topic / Re: Boosting immunity on: April 01, 2020, 07:58:51 AM
These are very useful tips, but for many, they sound like idle talk, if you do not explain WHY to do so is right.

For example, drinking alcohol can be harmful because the body will be busy removing the by-products of drinking this alcohol from the body. Those. the body will spend part of its resources on this and become more vulnerable.
well you are right it would be nice to see the real purpose of each advice here
however, its basically can't be harmful and even if it is useless - you won't lose much
just trying to be adequate about it, I don't feel like there is much we can change, but not leave our houses
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 25, 2020, 10:43:25 PM
Most altcoins are already cheap now and buying is a big opportunity because you don't have to wait for any bullrun before making insane profits, top altcoins can surge on their own without Bitcoin rallying first
If you mean the top 20 altcoins, then of course yes, their acquisition will give good profit in the long term. But at a short distance, in 2-3 months, there is still the opportunity to dive deeper
This is probably true, but only if you don't believe in altcoins in longterm.
There are plenty of people who are pretty sure that alts are the future and bitcoin has to go away some day
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 14, 2020, 10:05:05 AM
The problem is , Fiat is connected with bitcoins and vice versa , economy at the end of the day is all connected and therefore any problems in one will cause a great deal of loss for the other too .
I do think Corona Virus is harmful for the cryptocurrencies too .
Speaking from a personal point of view , am also gonna take out my money due to Quarantine and prices getting higher than normal .
Why wouldn't you put in more money due to high chances of all markets growth in nearest 2-3 months?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collective DEX Volume is Starting to Outperform Some Major Exchanges on: March 03, 2020, 07:12:57 PM
This makes me extremely bullish on DEX's moving forward, and to be honest, feel a bit of FOMO as I really want to buy a Blocknet Node before it gets too expensive.
A Blocknet node can profit from:
Block Rewards
DEX Trading Fees
XRouter Fees (Decentralized Oracle Network, basically).
I believe owning a node could potentially make you a living if DEX's take off eventually, as millions of dollars will flow through these nodes, taking fees as profit. Thoughts?
I believe there will occur more sustainable services in nearest future, since crypto is growing really fast so does the rivalry between big companies and exchanges.
But the investments you're talking about are worth it for sure
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Ignore the Gap on: February 27, 2020, 09:07:11 AM
That is because of pretty much holding of most while buying and selling of several people that will most likely create a gap. Let's just say the day traders is the major cause of it, then what? create an entry point where you can maximize the needs to fill the gap. This is bloody as hell, you're right.

Isn't it counts as direct manipulation from them?
Sounds like it should be illegal honestly
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold vs. U.S. dollar on: February 22, 2020, 07:36:13 PM
Is there a possibility that can dollar beat the value of gold?
Why people always compare other currencies to precious metals like gold and silver? Precious metals like gold can't compete with USD because they have a huge difference that USD is used for daily expenses that you could exchange it for goods with it, while gold can be used in many things such as equipments, statues, jewelry, and investments.
So their value is hardly comparable, I agree. Value of Usd is higher due to its usability, but gold is not a currency really so how can one compare them anyway
27  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitfinex blocks withdraws on: February 11, 2020, 10:58:00 AM
The year 2020 is the year of the decentral stable coins and the decentral exchanges.

I predict they will make an inroad of, ooh, up to 0.00001% in the market. It's going to be amazing to witness.

People are lazy and stupid in the main. They will go for the easiest spoon fed option 9.9 times out of 10.

Crypto would be a much healthier place if there were less reliance on centralised services. It ain't happening.
Moreover, people are rarely check any feedbacks on services and it is surprisingly easy to find negative feedback on bitfinex.
why bother themselves using it..
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 02, 2020, 11:35:31 AM
Right now is not a worst time for altcoins because they are recovering now unlike last year. Well, for me the best time to buy good altcoins is during the downtrend because its pretty cheap. Like ETH before around $120 and below, if you able to bought on that level then you already have a decent profit. Buy when there’s a fear in the market but I agree that you should not fall into shitcoins. The top altcoins can survive the downtrend, its proven so don’t panic and buy if you’re ready.

That's actually quite smart. It is quite easy to buy when everyone around is buying so you can make your 10-20% of profit.
But with that long term tactic you can gain up to 100% and that's whole another level.
Also, I'd like to suggest to buy very cheap coins when market is on the uptrend.
When prices are going higher a lot of people who were afraid are suddenly up to make a move so they expecting cheap coins fly to the moon (like btc did back in the days).
I don't believe any of those XRP/TRX/IOTA type of coins will make above $2, but if you invest in them at the right time you can gain more than 300% of profit
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 23, 2020, 12:12:18 PM
I think the people you are talking about are referring to fiat in general and not just dollar. If all currencies are getting weak at the same time one of them is still going to be the strongest and Dollar remains the strongest currency there is. And having a higher value doesn’t mean that a currency should be the strongest, if that’s the case then I don’t think that even the Euro stands a chance in being among the first three because there are other currencies with more value than the Euro and USD respectively

That ultimately depends on the total supply of money and the size of the economy

As you say, a higher exchange rate doesn't necessarily mean that a currency is stronger. It just means there are fewer currency units in circulation given more or less the same size of the economies compared. To gauge the strength of a currency we should look at its dynamics, i.e. how its exchange value changes over time. So if a currency with a higher rate loses its value (depreciates stronger and faster than other currencies), this rate should go down too even if technically it may still stay above the parity

Higher exchange rate doesn't necessarily mean that a currency is stronger. However it shows that currency is usable for more people than other currencies and that means more value compared to others.
And that value can lead to price pump
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: January 13, 2020, 09:16:39 AM
Of course he has a lot of capital for trading that's why he bought a big house. Trading with only a small capital will definitely take a long time collecting the profit to buy that house. I think it's good starting with 1 bitcoin for short term since sometimes in a daily price can be up to hundreds of dollars so if we are lucky we can get huge profits, imagine those who trade with large funds how much profit they can make it.

If you have 1btc for trading needs only it still is hard to collect profits to buy a house.
And take into account fact that not much traders have at least 1btc anyway.
So the biggest part of the community is mostly talking about big results, but the least of them succeeds.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: January 02, 2020, 06:43:36 AM
I think it would be better to spend more time in the market if you feel stressed by all the input that is difficult for you to receive, because with you spend more time in the market at least you will study every move that occurs and determine which way the candle will go with more strong and convincing. Because after all, the two ways of trading that you are interested in will produce a variety of benefits and certainly it will be for your benefit.
Taking your time to study and do your research before doing anything will enhance your skills in picking the right position each time you deal inside the market. You are the one who are incharge in any decision making and if you are very keen then staying inside much longer will give you the hints that you are aiming to properly drive your trading position.
Wise point indeed. I'd even suggest using small amount of $ which are not last money you've got.
In this case you can freely analyze market, but not gambling.
Crypto insvestment is nothing more than a regular investment - you want to maximize profit with lowest risks, never forget this.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 25, 2019, 05:07:51 PM
In my country, no, Bitcoin was taxed. There is one that pays the tax who has the mining farm, and he rents a room.
When you rent a room, definitely you are in paper works and you have to pay for the place. That has nothing to do with bitcoin taxation. But if the person is being taxed because he or she is owning a mining farm, then this could be in one way called taxation of bitcoin. I am curious that just mining has been taxed or transactions as well. Government shall not put taxes on mining because it is already very hard on the pocket of a miner.
If government is heavily taxing mining and transactions then this is not right.
In my opinion they should tax transactions, but let miners do their job.
Other way taxation of miners will scare them off and it will lead to Currency's price getting higher.
33  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official announcement on the shutdown of Bottle Pay on: December 17, 2019, 03:25:14 AM
I never heard about Bottle Pay, but it's not good to see services closing due to regulations. Recently I saw quite many sservices closing for a same reason like this one. For example, Faucethub.io - most popular crypto microwallet.

Agreed, I've witnessed the CryptoBridge being shut down due to some new regulations.
Though I didn't use Bottle Pay, I still do care about good usable projects being shut down.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: December 03, 2019, 05:48:50 AM
Someone was asking whether they will continue to be holding Bitcoin even when the price is falling down, and yes of course there are people that would continue to hold even when the price of Bitcoin is going down. Some people are getting discouraged because of this price that has decreased recently.

I am not even worried about that, I'm still holding my coins and not minding the price that keeps fluctuating up and down. If you're afraid you can go for asset backed cryptocurrencies. And from what I've been reading lately online, there might soon be a bull run, some people will not believe it because they are afraid, until when it's late that is when they start buying out of FOMO.
That is the problem, people are still holding even it is bear market. They have too much hope even though the market tells them that they are wrong. Even they have a lot of patience, but still they do not have good risk management. They are expecting too much even it is far from reality then should change that kind of mindset because it is not good for them.

Because any new emerging field everything is hardly predictable. So people think "oh its bitcoin it went from $0.0001 to damn $19k in several years. So if it went down for couple hundreds in a week it is ok, I will hold"
And I can understand them, but I do not support the opinion
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: November 28, 2019, 06:14:35 AM
Maybe not too confident with what we speculate make you more careful when pick an action. Especially if you said you only use Volume as indicator. Actually i see only from what i learn, not too hury to sell your bitcoin if you see bear trap. I mean in bear market, it is better to take a rest and start do trading when you see bull run come.

I'd say your tactic can work only if you are long-term player.
For short traders there is no way to blindly buy/sell and still be in profit.
As I said you can choose simple tactics for long trading - for instance you buy 1 btc on $6800 and write down on paper that you'll sell if: 1. btc gets lower than $6600 2. btc gets higher than $7100.
Basic stuff, I know.
36  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinbase pro question on: June 24, 2019, 03:40:10 PM
It is better to choose some the exchange. Coinbase is not secure enough but it is a good way to start.
I will listen what users say as well.
