21  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: November 19, 2013, 05:56:49 PM
Why do you people requesting refunds consider to do so while losing money?  You could have all had your products shipped the beginning of this month and made back approximately $1000 with 8 miners  then you can turn around and sell them each on ebay to recover losses, now due to waiting for a refund you have incurred yourself even more losses and chance for making more reselling your device at a premium price.  Get the bitcoin value out of your head, Steamboat did us all a great service and he had friends who worked for free to help build your miners in good faith.  Honestly whatever funds he did make out of this he deserves fully because he kept his promises and the delays are the fault of Avalon's.  If you were smart you would defend Steamboat and file civil complaints to Avalon for damages incurred.  This is getting quite ridiculous, give him a break.

I dont understand how you can defend Steamboat so much and then call for blood against BFL here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266945.msg3640455#msg3640455

When this all started Steamboat had promised a 72 hour delivery from when he received the chips to when he shipped out assembled miners. I asked for a refund when it was clear that he was not able to achieve that promise. I understand that there were circumstances out of his control. All that I expect is a USD refund and at least weekly updates until that happens. Steamboat has certainly handled this situation better than BFL, but amongst all of the whining there are several valid complaints. To me one of the most valid is the lack of communication.
22  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <DZMC Exclusive> $110 / 40GHS on: November 18, 2013, 04:36:19 PM
With the bitcoin price going up so rapidly I am curious to a few details about this Coop. When is the Black Arrow X-3 purchased? When someone checks out on the DZ site are the funds kept in bitcoins or transferred to USD?

I have been very happy with this Coop and I think that it has been professionally handled so far. Especially when you compare it how some others have treated the bitcoin community.
23  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN]R17x: Black Arrow Prospero X-3 <Exclusive> on: November 16, 2013, 06:14:24 AM
In for three shares to start.

What if Black Arrow fails to ship on February? What is the plan then? Black Arrow seems legit, but I just want to be clear on the plan from the start.

Any updates on the status of the Black Arrow Minion ASIC? They have been February for a while now. I have no reason to think that they wont ship then, but I can not find any status updates either.
25  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB Any Gpu's for mining on: November 12, 2013, 10:23:38 PM
I have a powercolor 7950. I was about to put this on ebay, but I am fed up with their high fees. I would let it go shipped for 0.45 BTC.

I just made an order, #563

I see "You must make a payment within 1 hour, or your order will be cancelled".

Can you extend it if I will not be fast enough to send btc today? For example till tomorrow?
The site automatically stops tracking (you do have more than an hour most I've tested it for was 6 hours) My suggestion would be to place the order closer to when you can pay for the order.

I've made one microtransaction to the given address in order as one user (Hili) suggested and my order is now:

Order #563 made on November 7, 2013. Order status: on-hold.

Does it means it still waits for rest of payment?

The is exactly what it means. I did the same in an earlier group buy.
27  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discussion to explore how to provide Group Buy Robocoin ATMs to investors on: November 05, 2013, 09:55:08 PM
I would be more interest in the ASICminer-type share offering BTC ATMs. I don't know how the exact model would work, but I think it would be best to have it be one corporation with multiple ATMs.

I think the decision to combine all of the group buys is great.
Thanks

Can we create one forum for all of the Bullet Run Group Buys moving forward?

I may have misdone the math and explanation it is 300% ROI however I am rushing during my break to answer as much as I can before I have to leave which is what I'm doing right now.

I'll be back on in a few hours.

No problem I know you guys are moving at a breaking speed. Please look into this and clarify tonight when you have a chance.

Refunds will be processed later tonight (lunch break not able to do them if we even have any more than the two requested late last night)

don't hold me to this but I'm in the process of talking with RoboCoin to see how exactly the fee's are generated (either in BTC or in fiat) from the talks its looking like its a mixture of both, we MAY be able to amend the payments based on this. But at this time I'm unsure. On another little side note if we promise to pay 3 times in BTC and BTC drops we can technically buy you out.

We've selected the list of cities / areas based on what we've been told could possibly work based on the environment of the location.

We are open to suggestions on how you would like to see compensation however giving ownership of the ATM to each person could run into problems later, maybe a higher return + longer time period, if we can offer partial ownership we will.

And this is a business so if we go the way of tripling your BTC invested (or tripling what you invested) and then that goes down to a point where the business can buy you out in full by tripling your investment in a payout it comes back to us. But give us suggestions were all ears.

Honestly, the way I read it was that payments wouldn't stop once the ROI hit 300%, just that it was a guaranteed ROI of 300% over 2 years. So theoretically, depending on how popular these are, we could get a 300% ROI in a year or less, and payments would continue until that 2 year period was up.

With that being said, I am curious to see how they react to people who are unhappy about these terms. Here's hoping for the best.
For those that don't want to participate anymore a full refund will be issued.

The way we currently have the terms set up is you will get triple your investment ($123) within 2 years. After you get triple your $123's ($369) the ownership of the ATM belongs to the company.

Getting triple your investment back and 300% ROI are different. If I buy one share for $123 I would need $123*4 deposited for 300% ROI ($492). Getting $123 back is a 0% ROI. $246 is 100% ROI and so forth.

The first bullet point states otherwise. It seems pretty clear to me that once 300% ROI is hit you are done. Here is the full post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324225.msg3480030#msg3480030

- 300% ROI is Guaranteed within 2 years, after which the ownership of the machine reverts back to us.

It looks like the ATM has 3% fees. What goes to Robocoin and what goes to the ATM owner?

Just ordered 7 shares. I put in 0.1 bitcoin with this transaction to hold my order. https://blockchain.info/tx/52ab570ac6afd7008db3ad4a95297138ae02e82220206c249443725d8c1a4221

I will pay the remaining bitcoin tomorrow.

Not only does this look just like the guy that ripped me and possibly others off in the other forum, but bitmit has much better prices.

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259168.msg3456935#msg3456935

Do you have the name of the seller on bitmit?

https://www.bitmit.net/en/user/szandibella

The code works, but it does not show up on your account right away. I was able to confirm with netflix chat.
36  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [S] Super cheap Netflix Gift Codes! on: November 01, 2013, 02:25:29 PM
For anyone looking for a good deal on netflix codes you can find them on bitmit.net. I was able to get one 12 month code for $10. There is escrow there to.

Netflixer has not responded in the forum or to my PMs. I suggest avoiding.

Time to prove that you are legit. I pmed today when you were online with no response.

Still for sale!

I still have not gotten mine.
39  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] R11:BLACK ARROW Bullet Run w Bitfury. 40% off. $123=8-10GH Nov. 1 on: October 30, 2013, 03:09:05 PM
I think it is just a typo but I wanted to bring it to your attention on the DZ site there are two conflicting claims.

"Ergo: 1 share = $123 = 8.34 – 10 GH/s + 20 min. UPS backup + 1 month free hosting thanks to bobsag3 with the world’s cheapest professional insured ASIC hosting
+ TO BE SHIPPED NOVEMBER 1, 2013 OR YOUR $/BTC BACK!"

Then down a few paragraphs:

"40% (or more) Below-cost Share price is: $123 for 10-15GH/s, shipping November 1 or your $/BTC back!"

I am already in and excited, but I wanted to bring this up. The way I am assuming is that 8.34 GH/s is almost guaranteed and 10 GH/s is hopefully what we will get. I would love 15 GH/s though Smiley

Already paid, waiting the code  Grin

It has been 5 days can you come back and verify that you got the code?
