Monero is not dead, it just went down for a while. It will come back up again, bitcoin was around $350 last year, now it's more than $600.

Thanks everyone. So I refreshed my computer and reopened the wallet and thank God it opened, started syncing, but then stopped after syncing 22000 blocks or so. I guess it's my internet connection or so.

I will try to re-sync when my connection gets better.

Altcoin mining is more profitable than bitcoin mining since the electricity cost for most people is higher than 5cents/Kwh.

The Pesobit wallet I downloaded from github has stopped working after it operated just once, keeps showing Error St31: 4 files missing.
Can someone teach me how to get a functioning wallet and sync it with my old wallet because I have some funds in the old wallet?

I think I would just keep my coins on the iconomi website until I'm able to figure out how to download and sync a wallet.

I believe in future we will have fewer alts, say maybe ten strong alts and of course bitcoin still standing. The others will have fallen away.

I hope the project becomes successful and miners are finally able to reduce the block size.
