I mean isn't the whole point of Bitcoin privacy? As long as a proper escrow holds the required amount of ETC I do not see a problem.
But transparency overrides privacy in lending transactions involving amounts of the kind discussed here. It's all about due diligence. It also helps the lender check if the collateral's source is legitimate. So much news these days about stolen coins. if that needs to be done im all for it but i won't share it publicly And why not? If its done publicly, it would be quicker, and you will have a higher chance of getting a loan, but usually lack in transparency also means there is something else going on and youre trying to hide it from someone here (though not exactly the case). Tbh I am starting to look down on fiat-tied loans because it seems to me that people are doing this as a way to possibly profit while the lender loses out on any type of value increase in the market, which is what im assuming is going on with alot of the recent request. Good luck though. but the opposite could happen to me, if the value falls i need to honour my end of the deal. don't see showing my address as a high priority.
