What's this coming out of the blue?  What does this mean for the masternode owners? Anything they need to do or just leave the masternodes running?

Announcement:
Instead of listing XUV coin on exchanges, the Tokugawa dev and XUV dev team has decided to merge the XUV coins into TOK.
We took this decision so that we can be the next big masternode coin such as Dash or PivX.
Because of this decision we will get more locked coins by the users in the form of Masternode.
Because of this decision the dev will not be left with any coins to dump, this is good for community.
With increased number of masternodes, the TOK masternode holders will get less rewards but the coin price will rise significantly.
This decision will give us better volumes for TOK coin so that we can list on Qryptos or HitBTC easily.
All the unused TOK and XUV coins will be burnt by the developer. We expect not many coins in TOK to be left anyways.
The XUV coin holders should login to client panel of http://XUVcoin.com and use the tab of """Exchange XUV to TOK""" to transfer the XUV coins to get TOK coins.
Steps:
1. Login to Client panel of http://XUVcoin.com
2. Click "Exchange XUV to TOK"
3. Download Tokugawa wallet from http://tokugawacoin.com
4. Please let the wallet sync first, only after sync is complete you will get a new TOK address.
5. In Tokugawa wallet, please click on Receive tab and right click the TOK address to copy it
6. On XUVcoin.com in the client panel, you will see blank TOK address field and you will also see EDIT button. Please click this EDIT button and enter the TOK address, then click save.
7. You will see the XUV address on the page. You can send the XUV coins to this address to get TOK coins.
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 The swap period ends on Christmas 25th December If i had wanted to buy TOK is would have , This is very shitty thing to do to force XUV ICO holders to invest in TOK .. I feel scammed. But do understand consolidation. Refund ? |

I noticed today that Bittrix has insta-send enabled now. Coins arrived and where available in less then 1 min ! So much better then the 1 hour BTC wait !

No i haven't tried loading the wallet up on a new client yet because i was afraid as soon as i did it would try to make the transfer. I don't know if it would or not and was just curious if it would. I'll have to see if i can get that account back i know i had a bunch of alts back in the day just sitting on it.
Its either there or its not , if you load the old wallet.dat file in the new client it will not transfer anything with out you confirming the transaction. do you have the address ? the block explorer will tell you. |

I'm making some assumptions here so please be kind: Likely you where on an old fork of the NEOS chain and your transaction never took place on the "live" blockchain. Have you tried loading a old backup of wallet.dat into a new NEOS client? I believe the conversion to the "new" blockchain will be automatic. (because Syntax/twoturtles is a pro) Remember: coin amount was reduced by 3:1 when we switched to the POS/Masternode code base v2. So you might be "missing" some coins. Id start the recovery process for your Bittrex account ASAP. Ive logged into accounts and 'found' 1000$ of dollars of crypto Ive forgotten about and was worth pennies last time I logged in. it seems lie if you remove the connect= nodes the wallet does a rollback. If you are on the same height like the explorer please post the IP, i will add them to the "guide"

Crypto space is lacking Devs , be happy we have active seed nodes and a dame nice QT wallet. But yes MAR needs a code update soon.
I'm still voting for POS/Masternode with a even split and an end to POW.
maybe even a coin swap , to shed some of this coins shady past.

I also think: Stompper = prizZzrak He can not look at how well MAR has kept and now becoming more and more successful.  lol that's the thing about crypto, it seems to out grow its creator far to quickly .. This is just the start of MAR Blockchain, Coin so rare only 60k are for sale. Get em while you can but not to many .. save some for your fellow crypto investors! If I buy 1% of all MAR coins and then stake that 1% 24/7 for the next year .. I will still have 1% of all MAR coins and my position is not diluted by a new influx of coins. Maybe even 1.5% if I used the Dev's new supper stake feature. (once POW ends or is removed) Right now there is so few coins that POW is helpful in suppressing the price but will be happy to see it go. |

Personally, I only invest in coins that prioritize decentralization and immutability, I don't buy coins that have master nodes or that change their ledgers....obviously plenty of people don't agree with my thinking and have made millions on Dark coin, the new ETH fork and whatnot....but as a group, the decentralization crowd is significant, especially now with many old coins doing well. They're also patient. I'm fine waiting 5 years before wanting to sell some Mar if that's what it takes. Hot new techs can be risky, even gimmicky, but IMO it's decentralization that holds the best potential for longevity.
Also, the elites of MAR are already committed without master nodes. There are so few buyers, you couldn't dump a big chunk of supply and leave even if you wanted to.

X11 mining makes this coin vulnerable to 51% hack , and me leery of investing real sums. Just looking for a solution to secure the block chain with out having to point my ETH miners this way. Masternodes are not a fad.. that is FUD ... kinda like the mass FUD of miners not being profitable a year ago. It is a way to secure a block chain with out setting up and running massive sever farms. MN's are rewarding and profitable for both POS stakers and node owners. I did bring up your concerns about the cost of masternodes in later stages of adoption and was hoping we can find solutions and work our way around road blocks others have encountered. MAR DEV: Sorry , I can only imagine the work load some of what we are considering. The logistics and such but you are not alone here. We can and will help. I am here for the experience, not the money. fiat currency is a lousy way to keep score anyway. If we build something useful and that can retain value even better but the start of that will be a secure blockchain. Thoughts? lost |

You make some good points for sure, but my vote is wholeheartedly against a hard fork on this or any coin that isn't officially broken in some way. At this point it works and it's generating investor interest. Let's not risk disrupting that positive motion. A hard fork could also be seen as another blemish on a coin with an already scandalous history.
You make some good points. Lots to consider and think about. I'd be happy with the org specs. In the end, it's still a low supply coin. I like the idea of a coin swap. It has worked very well for other coins in the past. I don't like the idea of people losing coins. But I do like the idea of locking out any past nonferrous people with coins. I would also like to see X11 replaced with master nodes. I'm a miner. I love mining but their is a better way to secure blockchains now. The master node/POS stake wallet is a very elegant solution to keep each other honest. This makes for very strong network network infrastructure while providing rewards for hosting nodes and holding. Masternodes cost should not be cost prohibited later on as adoption takes place the required coin count should be lowered as the cost of MAR goes up. Rewards I think should be lowered, but given more often. I love watching the Mints pop up ... it is very addicting. Thoughts ? |
