We really need a trustworthy Clearcoin alternative soon. I just placed a link to Clearcoin on my website..

It's posts like this opening post that get me completely excited about Bitcoin! You know how sometimes you get some doubts about what you're doing, but things are going to be big!

bitcoinclassifieds.com?
It's .net, not .com

I left bad feedback (revealing the scammer) on the site and emailed the site admin and received an email the next day that the user and their ip has been banned, the "site" may actually be a decent place to do business, but "emily" sure wasn't a legit trader...
I may give it another shot, and just be more careful next time...
I'm really sad that someone has used my website to scam people. I implemented the feedback system to help prevent this in the future, and I've created a system for admins to keep an eye on suspicious users. This system checks various things such as feedback posted by the same IP address, and other things. I also added some tips about trading using Bitcoins. If anyone has tips to help making my website better, I always like to hear about it! You can contact me here or using the contact form on the website.

There's also a lot of trading going on on Bitcoin Classifieds!

I really like your graphics, bytepimp! If you have time, could you do one without the 2 circles on the coin next to the 'B'? The ones with 'b' and 'c' in them?

I like the idea that there's no physical presence of the master key! It could be part of a movie plot!

Thanks for the update Stephen!

In your website you say that you don't like the vertical line, because the dollar sign has one. There are many more currency symbols that have this vertical line to convey stability. So keep the vertical line!

I'm kinda curious about this!

Status update:
- I did a lot of design work, after all, using the website should look inviting. - A small bug was fixed where sometimes a user couldn't reply to an ad - More ads are shown on the index page - Searchresults are now displayed correctly
|
|
|
There will be sections for all ad categories, and I will need to do a lot more work on the index pages and classified pages. There's also basic support for translations, but I need to put more strings in there. Currently only 'Click here' is translated in dutch. I would love more people placing ads on the site, but that takes some more time I guess. In mean time I can finish the site completely.

I really appreciate the contributions i've received!
Thanks for the bug report JamezQ, i've updated the text. It is now possible to make edits to classifieds you've posted, and JamezQ, your ad now shows up in the list with the other ads.

Cool! Editing and deleting is next on my list, so you can manage all your own ads in one place. I've manually edited your ad. I will look at that error message, and i've added a higher resolution photo to the ad. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks! Do you mean the Bitcoin wiki? I haven't added a link yet. I would really like to shape this website to the needs of Bitcoin users, so if anyone has ideas, requests or dreams, feel free to post in this thread!

Hello all, A few weeks ago my friend told me about Bitcoin, and I'm now very enthusiastic about this project! To add my share to making Bitcoin a mainstream thing, I begun working on a website where everyone can easily place classified ads and get in touch with each other. This will make your Bitcoins more and more useful. Keep in mind that it's not finished yet, but basic functionality should be working now.. You can try it out at: http://www.bitcoinclassifieds.netI appreciate all feedback, and I'm curious what functionality you all like to have added to the website!
