What is the reason for calling all this Berlin? Anyone has information on that? They use Devcon city names.

Is there any news on this? Is it still planned for July?
This is not planned, it is confirmed. It will happen.

The 470.05 beta driver is required. I have a 3060 and use it for octopus for the time being, which is not throttled regardless of driver version.
Where can I get this Beta driver? You can download it from here: https://mega.nz/file/rE1E0JCS#-xL0bc6t2UiuiZ0Vtc-I9hcqGhV0UIr0B6FKJcdy_kEYou need to have monitor plugged in (or dummy plug), and at least X8 PCI-e speed. I'm running 3x 3060 in X99 mobo, but its also possible to run even 7 with x16 risers and appropriate mainboard.

I checked them on Microsoft Azure , for ETH K80 did about 5-6 MH.
P100 about 40MH V100 about 90MH T4 about 19MH P40 about 35MH

In a long run deflation will aid ETH. Be it, burn those fees.

I already watched the movie and I talked about it few days ago in other SilkRoad topic, that means imdb release date is wrong ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Not a bad movie to watch especially if you are interested in Bitcoin history, but I think they added to many fantasy elements and they presented Ross character as some kind of lunatic. Release date was not wrong, as always movie leaked few days before that on torrents, but official release was indeed February 19th. I watched it too, and it's kinda meh. As you said, too many fictional things added, but that was kinda expected since this is not documentary. The only good thing about the movie is that some people may dig deeper and check what really happened. Imho, this whole subject deserves much better film, with bigger budget and more serious director. Someone like David Fincher would do much better job, and would fit this perfectly. What we got is essentially made-for-TV low budget film with zero character development. If it shows the main character in a badlight, then surely it has to show Bitcoin in a bad light? You can't be talking about one guy and make him the sort of villain but who uses good tools;)
They didn't really mention bitcoin much so I don't think that will have any impact on people's perception. Maybe if movie was released 5 years ago, but not now when everyone and their grandma knows about bitcoin. There is a documentary about SilkRoad called Deep Web (2015). I do enjoyed that one.

It is a decent card, im using with 60Mh/ 116W.

You say ETH has no value? You know 90% of coins are eth20 coins right? ETH will pass his all time high soon. The rise of ETH is healthier this time cause we see more side movements which is good.
Its not only a good thing. Theres a flood of erc20 tokens (and before it was ICOs) but they are kinda ruining crypto. So maybe eth does more harm than good? Then look at eth costing $50 to transfer a token? Its ridiculous We should make a scam accusation thread against ETH for these fees Muenze, you cheeky.. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . My bet that you own a lot of ERC-20 and ETH, but well, would be great to spread some fud to buy more on low. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Does anyone know how Fan control work for RTX 3070?
Are there any command? Sliders does not work.
Okay, case solved. If someone run into the same problem. Mixed rigs are not supported, mixed rigs does not mean amd and nvidia in the same rig, it means different GPU's are not supported: 3070 with 2060 etc. I had 3070 and 2060 super in same rig, fan control does not work, if i removed 2060 super, fan control works as a charm.
This is pretty cool, thinking to use this OS for my first rig.
Does this provide better/same hashrate as Win10, but without all the Windows system adjustments you need to make?
It will provide about the same hashrate, however i do find nvidia to tweakable better with MSI afterburner, becuase of voltage lock. With amd 5600XT you get all controls included voltage. Be aware that mixed rigs are not supported. [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

3060ti and 3070 uses under 20w from pcie Port ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Do you have a reference? I haven't found anything about how power is distributed on a card from the different sources. I just use simple math, divide the total by the number of connectors, with the 8 pin connectors counting as 2. Edit: That 20W figure looks like BS. Someone on reddit calculated it for a 3080 assuming the 2x8 pin connectiors would draw their full 300W of the total 320W for the card, leaving 20W for the slot to supply. Here you go: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2F7g2MFSb%2F3060ti-board.jpg&t=663&c=BPc8SfsW3w746Q)

Every connector is a point of failure so I prefer to minimise them as much as possible.
That's false if reducing the number of connectors increases the load on each one, which is exactly what you are proposing. Yes exactly! And as is written earlier, 3060Ti uses about 20W from riser, rest will come on 2x8pin in your case.

on EVGA 3080 Black, which does not have backplate, but i installed a single 8cm fan cooling its back, have jtemp of 91.7 @ 99Mh.

If your powerpack only has one 8pin connector you can get a molex like the one in the picture below, also just make sure the power pack can deliver the exact watts needed for the GPU and motherboard to run perfectly
Yes I know I can do that but I don't think it's necessary. I think the extra 8 pin was just in case kind of thing to cover themselves legally. Every connector is a point of failure so I prefer to minimise them as much as possible. The question remains, is the card hardwired not to work without power supplied to both connectors? Be aware that if you card would reset itself to default it will consume a lot more power than during mining. This could be problem, you could even burn 1x8 pin plug. 3060 has moderated consuption, but still... you can get very cheap converters, do not risk it.

I do mine on 1660ti Mobile, getting 23Mh without any overclock.

There is a possibility of mining memory intensive algos, like Ethereum.
As it said above, overhetaing is the main issue, however with smart settings it is possible to mine. I do mine on my Razer Blade base with Nvidia 1660Ti. Forget overclocking, focus on downclocking, undervolting. Your should limit GPU voltage as low as possible, 0.7mV is works pretty well for me.
If it necessary you can limit GPU usage in Phoenixminer with -gpow xx - where xx is percent. In my case my laptop hashes with 23Mh under 52C. Which is pretty cool.
Nvidia 3080 Mobile has the same bandwith like 3060Ti dekstop, maximum hashrate is 62Mh, but unlikely it will work in a long run, however 45mh could be possible imo with reasonable undervolt & underclokcing.

I've played a lot with MSI afterburner and Nvidia inspector. I've noticed, that under 725mV all Nvidia 30xx card turn into P-State 3 which also lock memory frequency to 5000 Mhz. over 725mV, please note P-State 2 and mem speec 7800Mhz ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn1.bbcode0.com%2Fuploads%2F2021%2F1%2F21%2F62ae0101a386d2c69ca4e952263a8e8a-full.jpg&t=663&c=K86kb9kqzjBF6w) under 725mV, please note P-State 3, memory speed 5000 Mhz, BUT GPU speed still above 1300, which is enough for mining. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn1.bbcode0.com%2Fuploads%2F2021%2F1%2F21%2F48292c92c97bffe9065be869f5aaa800-full.jpg&t=663&c=ErLaY_egkfo5xw) It is even possible to go as low as 700mV, and GPU can run nicely with 1300Mhz. Reported power consuption is 85W with Nvidia Inspector there is a possibility to overclock memory in P-State 3, however it does not work. Does anyone has any idea how to trick P-State 3 memory clock speed?
