21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: August 28, 2020, 10:50:26 PM
It looks like market manipulation. Some exchanges use bot trading to do this and some projects use low volume trade to shows data like this to attract investors. You should be careful when seeing this type of unusual price growth in a project. Shit project does this to fool investors and if you look that's tokens 24-hour volume then you will see there is very low volume.
If you realize that there is a market that is manipulating then you should be able to avoid that coin and avoid that market because usually if you enter then you will have difficulty withdrawing assets and other cases that can make you lose.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: August 28, 2020, 10:49:08 PM
yes I believe , even usdt is coin love and i believe he is stable reason , i often take usdt to trading and i am very comfortable with his prices are stable
of course the USDT price will be stable because the price movement depends on the USD so if you look at the USD only has very little price movements and the effect on USDT the price is still in place, so USDT can actually be used for long-term investment because of its price stability.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockfolio IOS App Doesn't Refresh? on: August 28, 2020, 10:44:06 PM
I have blockfolio on my iphone.  I have it for years and i notice for a long time., when you click on home, it shows all the coins you are tracking... but they are not up to date.  Example you need to click on btc, and then it will immediately show you the current price.  But whne you look down on your coins like bch and other coins, none are updated.  You need to manually click on each coin in order to get the current price.  Is that how its been for a while?  I notice this issue for almost a year i believe.  I do update it when it needs an update.

Any other apps like blockfolio that isn't lagging?  I like it but i find it annoying i need to click on every coin to find the current price.  I mean back then i recall you click home, it updates all the coins in your portfolio.

Blockfolio takes a really long time to refresh data (I am used to it) and by the time it had finally refreshed the data the price changes already. For real-time quick updates try using different portfolio management apps.

For blockfolio: As soon as you open the app you need to refresh the app by sliding finger down (iOS)
I think there have been many who have provided information that using the delta apps has provided many advantages and comfort when in use it is very easy and can see all the cryptocurrencies you like, with delta everything can be seen easily and always provides automatic updates that can provide price information in real time.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Asset Insurance on: August 28, 2020, 02:43:05 PM
In crypto space where there is so much volatility, scams and a steady cascade of nascent projects coming up, varying government laws, crypto asset insurance sounds like a pipe dream, until better clarity in cryptosphere.
there are already many projects that doing insurance of cryptocurrency assets, but I don’t understand how it really works in reality and is we really have any cases when such companies return losses

But many of them can not survive, and many of them delay the project, so we don't know when the project can run again. I think the insurance will depend on how we can treat the asset, and if we can be careful, I think we don't need insurance because cryptocurrency is not the same thing as what we see in real life. I don't think there is a company that can guarantee to give return to us if, somehow, we lose our asset while we store the asset with them.
This is what ultimately makes the name cryptocurrency not good anymore because many projects fail in the middle of the road and do not continue what was developed, cryptocurrency should not have a group like this, it will be good and can apply digital currency smoothly.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest cryptocurrency blockchain to make a token on: August 28, 2020, 02:35:18 PM
BNB, TRX, EOS or XLM, but there are new ones like polkadot, but I don't know much about the DOT project and how to make their tokens, so try the four you might be interested and their transactions are very fast compared to ethereum

I think you mean BNB for Binance chain since BNB is its native token. As with your suggestions, I think i will likely chose between EOS and TRON networks because its easier to create a custom token on them and their transaction speeds are also relatively fast. Imho.
indeed BNB is a coin from a large exchange but you must know that not all exchange places or other transaction places have exchanges for BNB coins, usually they will prefer to use Tron because it has very cheap transaction fees and has a very stable trading volume .
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩DeFi scams [history]💩 on: August 28, 2020, 02:17:10 PM
We are soon approaching the peak scam time of 2017 ICO period. Except this time its not scammers in telegrams but the Defi projects are gonna be swept away .
Not all, there are good eggs in this Defi hype but bad ones will definitely be swept away. 2017 is totally different from this defi though some similarly exists.
I have only know of Yam Spaghetti shit coin that has made many regret investing on defi. Yam rebating never worked out even after launching version 2  Undecided
unfortunately DeFi has a difference with what happened in 2017, in 2017 it has a lot of demand because indeed many are curious about cryptocurrency whereas for now it's not like it used to be, even today many are disappointed with cryptocurrency because there are many theft cases that occur in cryptocurrency .
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: August 28, 2020, 08:38:47 AM
I never heard about titan coin and I don't know why you included in the list of the top cryptocurrency maybe you are trying shilling it and also I don't agree that tether is the top investment because it's a stable coin.
this is the strategy of the OP that tries to introduce titan coin in this way, so I suggest not to be too fooled by promotions like this and as much as possible avoid titan coin because the project might fail and it will make a lot of people lose.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 28, 2020, 08:34:32 AM
This is really good news during covid19 pandemic nowaday, the cashless solution for new normal. Is this news accountable and responsible ? if so please blow it up for world to know it, surely people will prefer using blockchain for their cashless transactions rather than using fiat banks with a lot of fees and administrative matters.
of course this is a very good choice because paying using ethereum will make it easier for everyone when you want to make transactions you don't need to use banknotes and the spread rate will be smaller because there is no direct interaction with humans and no harmful saliva splashes.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: August 28, 2020, 08:20:32 AM
Sometimes we think it's easy to win but it's not, odds maker providing us the odds whether it's a live bet or not always analyze it well and whether we like it or not, they are smart than most of the gamblers, that's why we make wrong prediction most of the time.
I didn't say it was easy to win I only wanted to point out that there are strategies where you don't need much information. I know the odds maker are smart and ahead of us but you can still make things work regardless of what they offer to us. If you actively bet or monitor the live odds sometimes you'll notice how they react heavily on small advantages that could still go both ways.

Unfortunately the method you are doing is very difficult for other people to do because maybe there are still some people who have tried it but it is not suitable and failed, maybe there are still other ways to gamble safely, and of course you must be aware that the risks of playing games are in place. gambling will be like that.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 28, 2020, 06:36:43 AM
To transfer between casino's I often convert it to DOGE so it's faster and much cheaper to transfer. Only when I want to withdraw the funds to my wallet I withdraw it as BTC.
its the same you need to transfer your bitcoin to exchange  which you will be required to pay for transfer fees + conversion fee of the exchange. Unless you already have  available Doge in your wallet and you don't need to convert it using exchange.

I do that of course only at the casino's where you can exchange it on the site itself. That's always cheaper then paying the fees for withdrawing bitcoin.

If you make a withdrawal using bitcoin, it must be expensive. It's not only in gambling, it's the same in exchange. For this reason, I have never made bets using bitcoin. My choice is 3 coins, TRX, DOGE and LTC. Of the three coins, I use DOGE more often. because the main reason is low cost withdrawals.
As far as I know, some gambling places still accept bitcoin withdrawals and in my opinion there are still websites that don't increase their shipping costs because that's their advantage, while several other gambling places have started to increase their shipping costs because bitcoin transactions are getting busier.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 27, 2020, 11:53:29 PM
I really doubt that ICOs are coming back I think on a good note they are gone and is even better for everyone The IEO have actually replaced them and now we have DEFI and bounding curve I think market have really gone through alot and there is a huge development there Its still risky though but well developed
I think the ICO will never come back again because the reputation of the ICO is gone and at this time many investors prefer to participate in IEOs which they think can make a profit because they can enter the exchange quickly and can be immediately sold when they enter the place exchange.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 27, 2020, 11:52:18 PM
In my opinion, the name of a crypto only represents 20% of what is presented, the rest such as products, benefits, problem solving and others are very influential on the development of crypto. A qualified team indicates that the crypto is ready and suitable for distribution.

The name represents 20%? I would say not even 1 %. People buy shitcoins with stupid names that do not mean anything even. Ghost, Chainlink AAve whatever. The project is only as good as the activity and benefits it delivers,,, everything else people forgive especially a bad name.
in my opinion the name in cryptocurrency is not too important because investors will only see the project being developed and how the project is in the eyes of humans, when many people use this project and it is very helpful to solve a problem then this project will have a very high price because many who use it.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: August 27, 2020, 11:50:45 PM
Is a bit risky holding it but from the way i see it I think is already used in many exchanges and is like the most dominant crypto stablecoin out there Personally I think having those strings and holding positions make it a coin to be relied on for now.
of course USDT is one of the coins that is safe to hold long-term because with USDT which has very little price movement it will make investors more confident that the profits that will be obtained will indeed take a long time because it has slow price movements but the level of risk is very small.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legal Matter on: August 27, 2020, 11:42:55 PM
It's too easy to open online casino. In fact, you just need to know few html, css, and JS (or find a man with needed skills) and you can go ahead. If something bad will happen - just changing domain or even a name. Because of that this is too hard to fight such things.

We should be aware of that, first thing we look at on a casino when we are gambling is their license, if they don't have, that's when we have to manage the risk carefully as we can never go after our money once they go dark.
well that's it because having active players is harder to find, imagine even though the owner of the online gambling place gets a little profit from that gambling place but has active players and is often visited by many people it will be the best gambling place and can provide good income for gambling owners.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: August 27, 2020, 10:38:17 PM
Paul Pogba reported positive COVID-19, because of this he will be missed matches between France vs Swedia and Croatia next month. His position replaced by Rennes player Eduardo Camavinga.
well there are already some people who are indicated by covid and in my opinion this virus will be more widespread if there is no very serious handling and if there are still matches then more will get infected with covid again, all soccer matches should be temporarily stopped to stop the spread of covid .
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 26, 2020, 07:41:54 PM
No it's not and infact it's dangerous to invite people around you into crypto, make sure you spread info about crypto to far away people only  because if things go bad you will see the wrath of close people, not all people are strong and some don't even want to lose for once in their life
usually when the cryptocurrency price rises, there will definitely be an article that provides information that the cryptocurrency price is back up and of course it will be read by many people so there is no need to make everyone enter cryptocurrency because let them all enter by themselves.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 26, 2020, 06:55:42 PM
I probably wouldn't invest in NEO at the moment. I still remember back in 2017 there was a big hype about NEO for beging the new chinese ethereum.
Now 3 years have gone by and there are so many more competitors around now that i don't think that NEO will reach it's ATH in the foreseeable future.

maybe because there is no good news about NEO that can trigger investors to enter and return to support to make the price rise so that the current price condition of NEO can be said to be a dead coin because there is no life anymore and many investors have left this platform.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 26, 2020, 06:44:48 PM
It is very difficult to beat ethereum, especially at this time DeFi project mostly still uses the ethereum blockchain so this makes ethereum invincible, but there is one project that might beat ethereum, Polkadot because DeFi project that uses Polkadot has a pretty terrible performance and also has a volume that is not inferior. with a project that uses the ethereum blockchain, but the chances of polkadot beating ethereum are very small.
I think there are already several coins that can beat the price of ethereum such as new coins that have very little supply which ultimately makes the price very expensive, for example, YFI, PAXG and MAKR which have proven to be able to beat ethereum prices on exchanges.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: August 26, 2020, 06:32:37 PM
actually the market is not 100 predictable even though you apply the pattern that you usually use or you believe that when you are going to buy the price will go up, it could be the opposite, of course speculation and predictions help us predict market price movements rather than doing nothing and buying without considering it first, it's just that losses will also come to you, when it comes you can minimize it.
yes of course cryptocurrency price movements will be very difficult to predict so maybe to be able to get a profit then you must be able to trade patiently in the sense that you buy a coin after that you can wait for it to rise, use a system like this to be able to make a profit, because if you wait patiently will definitely get a very good one.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 26, 2020, 06:26:44 PM
My biggest regret is spending lots of money on obsolete mining rigs because I don't know much about profitable before jumping into mining, I thought the bullish trend of 2017/2018 will always continue so I went for the lesser GPUs, I later sold all and still haven't recover my loss till today.
The lesson I've learned from this is never venture into any investment plans without proper investigations and understanding, today mining coins and making profits is very difficult without free electricity but still possible if one can go solar mining but the cost? That's not something everyone can do
definitely, mining is not like what it used at the beginning of cryptocurrencies where you can make quite the profit. Right now it's a lot more difficult and need to compete against big miners aswell.
for us who have kinda relatively weak mining rigs and not gonna pays off. not to mention the expensive electrcity if we don't get subsidized.
well, currently mining is not very profitable anymore because the results obtained are very small and the cost of electricity to repair mining devices is very high, so mining results have been trimmed with electricity payments and the results are not very profitable anymore, many small-scale miners choose to sell all his mining tools and return to being a regular trader.
