I transferred 50000 coins to nxt-e.com around 24 hours ago and they are still unconfirmed!

Getting a bit annoyed now.
Are you still using Nxt-e ?

Take FAC problem on nxt-e as a lesson.

The platform is not bad, but the exchange owner lacks a normal attitude and normal human intelligence.

Can my nvidia card on my notebook mine some Hiro ?   Grin Grin
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed coin. MANDATORY UPDATE! on: April 01, 2014, 09:48:39 AM
Faircoin does not sell cheap or expensive
Every time FAC is purchased, it is purchased for a Fair price
Any idea when the gambling or multipool will be introduced?

Any progress on them?

Multipool will be great to push the increase of FAC price to a "Fair" price.

Sooo, what is Tormails next plan of action?
Does anyone know?
I've got money stuck in BTC-e, and I can't get it out because my account is tied to my Tormail address.

I feel as though LTC should be the currency of choice. BTC owners will have no trouble transferring their funds to LTCs.

In reference to pre-orders, what kind of currency are you considering as payment? Or maybe you guys haven't thought that far ahead. :x

So even if there is no video feedback I should be able to mine on the card?

Here's some pictures of the damage:

I'm somewhat confused by the information I've read after reading this thread. First, some information.

I'm using a 1x-16x riser with an HD 6950 on an XFX 750i Intel 775 DDR2 Motherboard. The OS(Win7x64) recognizes the card and I'm able to mine when I use a 16x-16x riser. I don't need to short the card or use a dummy plug. So, since I also purchased a 1x-16x riser (as I have an additional PCI-E slot, though it's only 1x) I figured I'd give the card a try in the 1x slot to see if I can still mine on the card. The card boots, but Win7 doesn't even show the card in the device manager.

So, here are some questions:
  • Will I need to short the riser or use a dummy plug?
  • How am I to short an extender from the motherboard side instead of the GPU side? Judging by the picture above, I have to remove the cables that are already attached to the extender and short it that way? Why do I have to destroy my brand new riser to make it work?
  • Am I shorting the extender at the motherboard or am I shorting the extender at the card?

Found a counnector pinout, it would seem as though I could almost bypass, or ignore those last few channels?
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Broken PCI-E Edge connector!! on: April 01, 2013, 04:14:29 PM
So, I dropped my 5970, and the last few rails for the edge connector that goes into the PCI-E slot are broken off.

http://www.picsend.net/images/860118_T2eC16Z_!_0E9s37HkTGBRUHE3H6Dg~~60_5.JPG

The last few rails aren't much more but memory channels, so I'm assuming the card would power...? I have tried google, and found a few interesting things, nothing really definitive...but is this card salvageable? Could I use a riser and solder a connection between the riser and the gold-plate that's left?

I feel as though I'm not receiving my payment per round. I've been mining for roughly around 6 hours, and I've seen at least 4 separate rounds of shares (500,000) and my balance has yet to be updated. I feel as though the balance updates were quicker 2 weeks ago, and even though each "estimate" changes per round, my balance doesn't change even after 6 hours. Has anyone else noticed this is true for them as well?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LTC][Pool][PPLNS] - ltc.kattare.com - burnside's Litecoin Mining Pool on: March 11, 2013, 05:29:55 PM
So, I just installed a Radeon HD 6950 into my main machine. Its core clock is 800MHz, and the memory clock is 1200MHz. So, I believe this card should theoretically do quite well mining (at least 200kh/s). I managed to get my Reaper set up for my laptop, and even though I'm pretty familiar with the program, it hard boots everytime I launch reaper. I can't even get reaper to start and keep my computer on, so now I'm using CGMiner, and instead of hardbooting, I'm getting 100% stales. I have the latest AMD Catalyst drivers.

seems like you are running it with sha256 instead of scrypt ? That could'nt work with LTC

How can I change it? I'm using CGMiner's latest build, and there is a scrypt kernel in the folder.

What I've noticed is when I turned the workload up to 128 or 256, it hardboots upon initialization. By lowering the workload down to 64, I was able to at least get a hashrate and no hardboot, however the stale rate is incredibly high, usually 80+% if not 100%.

I'm trying to play with some variables, but I've no clue which ones do what. Also, is there a way to input commands to the CGMiner console?
Any have any idea what I might be doing wrong, or maybe a thread that could point me in the right direction?

Mine are stock core and under clocked memory as well as under volted. Intensity 17, worksize 256 -g 1 -E 1
I get consistent 391+ Kh/s per card.
Not sure what the issue is for you. The stale rate is high ATM but Burnside's on it.

First of all, up your intensity to at least 10...and go up from there.  Then I think thread concurrency is 4-5 * #shader processors.  6950 has around 1408 depending on model, so you are looking at 5632 or 7040.

Here is a nice guide.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0

I used the standard values in that thread, and I'd get a hard boot every time. So, I start adjusting variables on my own accord until I was able to get a stable set of variables. That's why my intensity, thread_concurrency are set so low.

I can't set my worksize to 256, it hardboots on me as soon as I do it. Mind posting your configs?

Introducing myself.  I suppose this makes post four.  I'm considering investing in BitCoins.  We'll see if it happens or not.  I'm going to watch the price for a few more weeks before doing anything serious, and, of course, the third batch of Avalons isn't out yet (and Butterfly Labs may never produce anything).

Your first response only contained 40 words, 11 of those were 1 character (numbers included), and you failed to use any punctuation. Sorry for being a little slow when reading your garbled, seemingly uneducated, intoxicated-off-bitcoin response.
