Good PPS pool. Always up.

Can the situation get worse that this? I hope not.

You just wait. Next summer will be even more fun with even more 4chan summerkids on here!
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PREDICTION Thousands of altcoins all leading to 1 SUPERCOIN! No reason to hate! on: July 01, 2013, 05:07:06 PM
I turn on my copy machine at home, and tell it to print 1000 copies of the same blank piece of paper, and one of them is going to be a super-copy of the first blank paper?.. I don't get it.

I'm all for developing new coins when you have a new innovative idea, or if you're just wanting to learn. But putting out a 1:1 copy of an already existing coin and wasting time pushing it to the public is stupid and pointless.

I'll mine your new altcoins if it brings something new to the table. Script-kiddies with a working ctrl and c button isn't going to bring cryptocurrencies anywhere but backwards.

If we actually focused our efforts where they're needed ( on developing already working coins, or coins with fresh ideas ) we would be so much farther along the line than we are today, where everyone is working on their own solo project that will never amount to anything.

There are at least 10 topics that I know of personally with detailed instructions on how to do this.

Here's some news for you though: If you're too lazy and / or stupid to figure out the search function, you're not going to be able to produce a working coin. I'm sorry ( not really ) to say.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to accept LTC/BTC in a store, café or a small business in general? on: June 30, 2013, 09:40:52 PM
You may also want to consider accepting BQC (BBQ coins). There are already restaurants accepting BQC atm, a mobile app for BQC is also being developed atm and it has a very active and dedicated team behind it.

The problem with BQC is that it's near worthless and never really took off as anything else than a joke-coin.

BTC and LTC is enough for now, I guess.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to accept LTC/BTC in a store, café or a small business in general? on: June 30, 2013, 08:35:15 PM
One really easy way that I've been using for face-2-face transactions is using the Android Wallet.
I create an address, and a corresponding QR code.
I have the other person scan said QR code and send the coins.
It takes about half a second before I see the incoming transaction.

There is no need to confirm the transaction for small purchases. It's not worth the time and effort to double spend 2 LTC.

If you're going to have this in a physical store, you could just have a QR code printed and taped somewhere near the register so the customer can easily scan it and send the LTC. It takes no longer for the cashier to look at the wallet for an incoming transaction than it takes to count coins from the register.

What could take some time is the conversion from USD ( or your local currency ) to LTC. It shouldn't take more than maybe 10 seconds though using one of many online tools.

This solution does require some manual labor on every purchase, it does not require any programming know-how at all, since everything already exists.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling Jr. Member Account @ $2 per account on: June 28, 2013, 07:01:14 PM
It would take 4 hours to create literally a hundred of these accounts. Why would anyone pay for it? :S
Spam, giveaways, auction shilling etc..
But why pay $2 per account when you can create hundreds of them for free?..

How valuable is your time to you?

I get paid more than $0.50 an hour so this is a bargain....lol

How is that even relevant?

If people are actually buying useless accounts for $2 each I'd be rich by tomorrow.

captcha solver: $2 per 1000 solves
proxy list: free
c#/python/vb.net(lol) program: make it yourself, or pay some Indian $50
time: free
cost per account: 5.2 cents (marginal cost 0.2 cents)

If you were selling verified youtube accounts, $2/acct would be reasonable.

This guy understands...

Facebook accounts with 5k friends used to be worth $5-7 each, when they were actually profitable. I fail to see how an account here could be worth $2. Especially when it's clearly a fake account.
It's useless, you can make a bot to randomly visit topics for 4 hours while you do nothing, basicly no money or time lose... this is just so stupid..
You don't even have to make the bot. You just google any "blackhat" forum and there are literally hundreds of prewritten bots and scripts that do this for you at the click of a button.

If OP had half a brain and actually wanted to make some money he would bot-create 1000 accounts and then pay some developing nation Mechanical Turk workers to add profile pics, post, and make internal mini trades. Then wait until his 1k accounts have reached Full or Senior Member status and sell them at that point. Then again, most scammy douchebags are not particularly smart people.
Unfortunately, many regular folks aren't particularly smart either, which makes it possible for OP to actually make money off of this.
Let's just hope most here aren't dumb enough to pay for free stuff.

Det är på tok för krångligt att få ett användar-id hos er. Känns inte ens som att det är värt att försöka.

I'm having a hard time reading blocks of text with my bad eyesight. You should consider using spacing, unless you think it looks professional writing like a 13y/o.

Also, what is the benefits of using this shitcoin compared to the other 400.000 shitcoins?

Sorry to have so deeply offended you with my announcement formatting. I could go back and edit it just for your sake, but unfortunately it sounds like you would not be interested in the text anyway. Probably not even worth you going thru the trouble of putting your glasses on to read it.

Guess you can't please everyone. I was afraid this was true when I heard it, lol.

Best wishes to you my friend  Grin

You have not offended me. Why would you even think that?

I just find it strange that you try to promote your coin when you're not even able to properly write a description for it.

I am sorry, I must have misinterpreted your personal attack of calling my writing that of a 13 yr old and labeling CGB as a shitcoin as based in anger due to some offense or slight. Perhaps your motivation was just hatred for the sake of hatred itself? I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt that your attack was based on some perceived attack that you felt threatened by and needed to retaliate against as opposed to stemming from a routine perception of other people.
CGB is a shitcoin by definition because it does not bring anything new to the board. It's made for the sole purpose of making money, which goes against what I believe cryptocurrencies stands for.

My " attack " was merely a remark on your writing skills.
Writing a description that looks like something a 13 y/o kid would come up with is a hint to the professionalism in not only the code of the coin you're promoting, but also the management behind it.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one here with bad eyesight, or for other reasons are having a hard time reading unstructured blocks of text. So it would be for your own benefit if you fixed it. Just saying.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MasterCoin [MST] The master of all alt coins!! on: June 28, 2013, 02:16:39 PM
I have never seen a coin yet that almost every reply is rude and hurtful.

Same on you cryptocoiners what we need is to all work together. I think that any interest in cryptocurrency, including making clone coins, is good for everyone. It brings interest to cryptocurrency as a whole.

So good on you mastercoin, stay positive!

 Grin

Yes, working together to reach a goal is what we ought to be doing, not release new shit coins every other day for the sake of personal profits.
