21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: cpuminer-opt v3.4.0, NEW AVX2 optimizations. on: August 08, 2016, 08:58:05 PM
I'm tring to get this version to Work on Ubuntu 16 with algo HMQ1725.

I can't test this anymore at Suprnova. I have an idea what's wrong, it would help if you can tell me the last version
where it worked. I should easilly be able to restore it.

You can use https://esp.maxminers.net.

I'm not sure of the last working version

Any update on this?

Maybe you could be a little more patient considering you declined my request for more info.
It will increase the chances I actually fix it next release. I'n not creating an account at maxminers
just for this. If I know what release broke it I will know exactly what broke it and how to fix it.

I'm working on some other optimizations, It'll be a couple of days before the next release.

I'm happy to help fix this. I know that Windows version 3-3-8 and Linux version 3-3-5 is working perfect. I haven't tested all Windows and Linux version.

Let me know if you want me to test something specific.

I get the error "Error loading blkindex.dat" when I try to open the wallet. It's been working for a long time untill today.

Please advice

Hi, please contact me on skype ID : bitcoin_arabie
i will fix this Error

Best Regards

Where I am at the moment I cannot Skype. No microphone or speakers. Can you guide me? I'm an experienced IT person

I'm going to assume you are using Windows?

1- Close the wallet
2- Go to C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming\dubaicoin
3- Copy the file named wallet.dat to a safe place on your desktop
4- Delete everything in the folder except for wallet.dat - do not delete wallet.dat under any circumstances
5- Empty your Recycle Bin
6- Start the wallet

that should work for you

Cheers

Thanks! I was close to do that by my own without any guidance ;-) I'm glad for your advice and it seems to work.

Espers team should begin, a sig campaign on decentralized platforms like zeronet and steemit.  just tipping the community for positive posts on the decen web. steem getting alot of hype right now with no standalone wallet lulz

Some shared their mining setup and I don't if its real.
Some got an Antminer S7 to run @ 4.7 TH/s.
Check it out https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KQKkW-j8VI_ag4Sr4ZvzkCXFsHDbrn78VY4Kvjdfm2k/edit#gid=0

An S7 can only mine sha256 coins, not espers.

Couldn't you update the software to some none standard thing and use it for another algo? I think I have seen it done before

I have 2 X AntMiner S3+. I'm looking for a new coin to mine. Preferably a new coin who got potential to become worth something in the long run.

Any suggestions?

so dumpers are here again those who received their free espers hope you can hold it for some time wait until all the project has been released and you will see by supporting this project we will see it prosper. good luck guys. thanks again crypto and the rest of the team.

I don't get it. Why would you dump 8 mill ESP for a few $$ right after you get them for free... If you joined the giveaway one could assume that you support the ESP project and not just wanted to dump the ESP you get for free.

Can someone explain me this?

Cryptomining blog has built Windows binaries of cpuminer-opt.

http://cryptomining-blog.com/7900-windows-binaries-for-the-cpuminer-opt-3-3-cpu-miner/

Edit: they've packaged it with all the DLLs you will need to run and will be portable.
Compiling with mingw_w64/msys does not create a portable build.

NICE!

I guess it's important to use the right version, or??

A question to the people WHO knows koding and hardware.

A have 2 "old" Antminer s3+ doing not that much. Would it be possible to update the CGminer on them with HMQ1725 algo? And Second... Would it be effective to mine ESP on them?

Why on earth is ESP selling @ 0.00000002 when there is buy order higher than that (0.0000001)Huh  Huh

On Yobit there is a sell order for 109 BTC @ 0.00000001 ;-)
