Fiji still beats the pants off 1070...

Efficient Setup
Fury $260 300H/s 100W
1070 $400 330H/s 95W
You're paying $840 more for 180H/s and 30W efficiency on a 6 card rig.

Full Bore (small scale with no electric cost)
Fury $260 350H/s
Edit: 1070 $400 430H/s
Edit: You're paying $840 more for 480H/s on a 6 card rig.

Which Fury model consumes 100W and clocks please!!!

Thank you very much..
I noted some miners said not to use the sata to molex!!!
and if I used the sata to molex cable then I have to connect the (8pin from the PSU to the molex) which have 3 molex in series without issue!! If yes that means that the last sata (first on the last GPU side) draw 50-75W but the previous will draw double(as it is connected in series) and then the first sata (PSU side) will be tripple power. So it will survive!!!
Thanks.
It is better to use Molex, but you will be limited by power supply.  So it depends on card. Reference 480 draws too much from PCIE slot, so would be an issue. As long as the card isn't taxing PCIE slot (realistically best at 66W or less, but card can draw 75W per the spec), it should be fine.  Compare typical power usage of card to its power delivery. RX-480 reference uses ~165W, but only has 150W of inputs, by specifications (75 from 6 pin, 75 from slot).  Any 480 with 8 pin should be fine (150W + 75). I think 480 was meant to be 150W card, but they upped clocks to be competitive with 1060, right before launch, so 6 pin isn't really enough.
Thanks again..
My cards are 11260-01 rx 480.. So I can connect the EVGA 1300 G2 pcei 1 for every card of the six. and use the 2 cables which have 3molex and 2molex to supply 5 raisers and 1 sata for the last raiser..
Will not have any issue while the molex are series connected!!!!
PCIE ]-----150W--------100W---------50W----
                           |50w         | 50w         |50w
                       molex1        molex2     molex3
You shouldn't connect more than 2 cards per chain from the PSU.  So I would do 2 on each molex cable, then 2 on a sata chain, or 2 sata chains.  I actually do 1 on each molex chain, and 1 on each sata chain, lots of extra cables, but shouldn't overload any of them.
Thx mate got it.

Sorry for the off topic...
In case of 6x480:
can you please explain how you connect the evga G2 molex to the raisers?
are you connecting the molex which is in series to the usb raisers direct!!
If yes then I only see 5 molex (on two cables 3x1 & 2x1) while you need 6, or you use one sata as the 6th!!!
any help would be appreciated.
Don't connect more than 2 cards per power cable (I do 1 per, but you can do 2 with most cards). You can use the sata to molex adapter that comes with the usb risers. Sata power cable can handle less power (~55w vs 75), but should be fine with 480 with 8 pin PCIE power.  Reference 480s, or any with 6 pin PCIE power..... plug into molex directly, or undervolt/underclock and do Ethereum.
Thank you very much..

Claymore can you please help!!
i forced the built-in vga to start, and tested to mine using -di but it did not work (with different di indexes)

https://postimg.org/image/pbrgaivmv/

Did you try deleting your old dag files?

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Ethash

Also did this work previously for you? What version of drivers are you running?

No dag found. since i switch from ethminer to Claymore i cannot find the DAG. before i could find in C:\users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\Ethereum\ChainData. (Now i cannot even find the Ethash folder under the Localfolder)

and did not work for me before. im using the driver 15.8

I feel I am being screwed by nanopool.    It calculates 0.45 ETC coin per hour, yet I only got 1 ETC in 6 hours.

Is pool offline?

http://etc.nanopool.org/stats

yes they said "frozen stats but shares working"
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred/Siacoin GPU Miner v5.1 (Windows/Linux) on: July 26, 2016, 02:30:39 PM
I've added Nicehash Stratum to https://etc.suprnova.cc which also supports Claymore by using:

./ethdcrminer64 -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1

Let me know if you have any problems or if its working fine.

Works fine with 5.1, NOT 4.5
are they calculating in ETH not ETC right?
"TOTAL ETH EARNING REPORTS

thats 10 minutes of work

for the mining gpus or the built in gpu???and which driver you used pls?
it could decrease the main gpu temperature by 8 decrease if it works is not it?

With a WIN7 PC running just GETH and Claymore,
why is there several hundred megabytes of disk space consumed every day?

If you point miner on geth than logs (-dbg 0 or -dbg 1 parameter) grow quick enough (about 3-4 Mb/hour). The 2nd disk hungry monster is blockchain database (try to look in c:\users\(your user)\appdata\ethereum).

Logs can be swith off (RTFM is a right habbit)))), but blockchain db should be kept. You cannot mine solo otherwise.

Thanks, so I will run Claymore with -dbg 1  parameter to stop logs

If I don't want to mine solo I can delete c:\users\(your user)\appdata\ethereum?

it should be -dbg -1 NOT "-dbg 1"
i have a question will that effect production "effective hashrate" when change it to -dbg -1

Much better. 60 CM USB cable is about 23.6 inches.   Plenty of length so you can spread your GPUs apart. They'll get better airflow.

Not to mention those ribbon cables are shady. They're put together poorly. The USB riser cards are more robust.

And you didn't ask but there is a cheaper USB riser on the bottom left in the similar product section. It's the $4.09. It is version 1.  The one you are linking to is version 1.4 (you can actually see it written on the x16 board.)  Version 1 only has 2 capacitors.  Version 1.4 has 3 capacitors.  Version 1 has the USB on one side and power on the other. Version 1.4 has them side by side on a wider circuit board. This makes the bottom flat so you can support the back of the gpu with a piece of wood.  I think the one you've linked to is the right one for several reasons. Definitely worth an extra 20 cents each. Don't try to save the money.

Ensure that its the USB3 version (white USB cable) - humble lessons learnt from me.

also buy only from good rated seller. last month i received risers working, but was 30cm while i ordered 60cm

guys, do you know how can i change the mining mode in the command line, not in the config.txt where should i put the command into the line? my miner starts always in mode 1....

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xccb701a1f4accbb4b04c51f3699c3414c4ef7744.rig2 -epsw x -ethi 16
-dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?adress=62bf3e349b30f4e087e6c01883cb4243e5f8166fed2ce1588d9f5fb81eab997a0f4cc4844fdb&worker=rig1 -dcoin sia

read readme.txt there are sample usage for each combination mining mode

Already read it. But it still doenst work as described there. Miner starts in ETH only mode...always. i tried to use config and it starts in dual mode but cant find the login data for sia nanopool...
i had same issue i noticed there is a space before "-dpool" so ensure you did not press "Enter" after "-ethi 16"

worked well for me thx. though needed to ad -dcoin  command into the line

now ETH rates are lower as before dual mining but i think its ok?!
i tried eth/sia on 2x380 and 1x370 it drops my eth from 56 to 45 as i remember 380 dropped from 21MHs to 16.5 so i back mining only eth so you may try change intensty. im not sure (i had 45 eth and 700 sia)

@claymore

Why does Linux get lower speed then Windows ( by 2MH/s  from 6 GPU Rig )

Claymore Configuration
-esm 0
-erate 1
-etha 0 // this increase by 2MH/s but still lower by 2MH/s compare to Windows
-ethi 8
-mode 1

Computer Spec ( exactly same machine )
6x AMD GPU R9 380
Intel Dual Core 3.2GHz
500GB HDD
4GB Memory
Asrock H81 Pro BTC
No overclock

Ubuntu 14.04.5, Fglrx 15.302 ( equal to 15.12 )
16GB Swap

Windows 10, Radeon Driver Packaging Version 15.30.1025.1001-151204a-298676C
10GB Virtual Memory

It's mean I lost 1 rig every 60 rig I have Cheesy
how much is your power supply please?
are you under voltage cards?
whats you hash rate per card?
i have 21-21.4MHs (eth only) with 2x380 and 1x370@ 470-515W
