21  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 25, 2021, 01:47:03 PM
Bitcoin is a virtual currency that uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or institutions like Banks. By its very own definition, Bitcoin sounds well positioned to kill central banks. Could it?
I don't think it's gonna happen. Tbh bitcoin doesn't need to kill any government's institutions to prove its existence. Bitcoin can't be treat like fiat money due to its high transaction fee and delay transfer time. It will only worth it if we transfer high amount of money via bitcoin.
So, instead of killing central bank, I am imagine if someday in the future the government admit bitcoin as a digital asset and have clear regulations in government's side in any countries.

What about the fees? What will be the fees for swapping sov pairs on sovryn app? Is it will be the same as any others ethereum AMM platforms?
I just hope the app bringing the solution for high fees problem.

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Dogecoin still worth to invest? on: April 24, 2021, 10:54:32 PM
To be honest, I am still wondering why Doge still have its hype while it's not even have fundamentals. People just fomo-ing doge like something that really have a future business plan or use case. I am not against the doge raise, I mean, for how long you guys think Doge's price will always depend on elon musk's tweets?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: starting my own altcoin ??? on: April 24, 2021, 08:19:32 PM
The first thing you you need to do to create something new in the industry is to find a problem and solve it with a solution. That's the only way to reach the community attention in cryptoverse.
Just like bitcoin solve the problem of freedom of money.

27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How The Exchange Gets BTC From The Blockchain on: April 24, 2021, 05:13:24 AM
An exchange sells BTC to people. People pay full amount to an exchange.
Exchanges doesn't sell btc, it's a bridge between people who want to buy and people want to sell. If they agreed with the price offered, they can execute the order in the exchange. And the exchange getting profit from taker/maker fee.
People cannot buy BTC without an exchange.
False. You can buy or sell bitcoin without exchange.
Example: Just find someone in this forum who want to exchange his btc for your PayPal.

Terima kasih sharingnya master. InsyaAllah bermanfaat

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Afripay 🌟 Africa's First Crypto Payment Solution Using Blockchain on: April 21, 2021, 04:13:44 PM
Hi, upon checking the team member's page, I noticed that the team members are covered with anonymous photos without any of their referrals and links. I highly suggest that you provide all the necessary details in order to verify the identities of the team members, thanks!
No way. They can't targeted a specific country or area for a payment gateway product with anonymous team members. Also tbh, the website doesn't looks professional. All things is looks amateur especially when I look at afri hardware wallet page.
Op please provide whitepaper on your site.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 21, 2021, 04:03:44 PM
Both are the greatest influencers in technology industry. I respect all the statements that bill gates raise about bitcoin. I believe he already research for it before he reveal it to public. And elon of course a bull run button in cryptoverse also have his own research about bitcoin and crypto in general. No need to ask who right and who is the wrong one. Next in the future, if bitcoin have something that Gates searched for, I am sure he will change his mind.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the gas price so high on Ethereum? on: April 20, 2021, 01:05:44 PM
No, ethereum is not a chepaer/faster bank. Ethereum is a platform to run decentralized applications.  Decentralization is the big deal here.
This is the answer I am searching for since I am not agree anymore to treat eth like money. Because sending money on the internet is supposed to be free and fast. And ethereum is bigger than money.
Now I got my answer, eth is platform to run dapps, not a payment gateway. Thanks man
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden GEMS with low marketcap - big potential on: April 20, 2021, 07:30:03 AM
shina nui and Vancat?
You will end up losing money if you trying to collecting these tokens. All of them is just spread by referrals sales which don't really understand what is crypto (as per my experience facing some of vancat marketing). They just fomo-ing such tokens with very low price tokens and don't have anything to back up the project.
Better avoid them, and make your investment safe with top 10 or top 50 altcoins there.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether Wallet on: April 19, 2021, 10:31:45 PM
Myetherwallet is my first ethereum wallet which make me learn and understand how an ethereum token works. It's makes me understand how to store, send, and manage with add custom my token in the simplest way. I've been using it for 4 years now and thank God I've never face any probleu with it. Connecting mew with metamask is my favorite way to explore defi world.
Tbh you don't need any new wallet, you only need to understand how it works. Hope you get your best one.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investment Ideas on: April 19, 2021, 02:06:27 PM
All top 10 are the best and the safest option for now. With these unpredictable market conditions, I think you have made a good move to choose only good altcoins. The most interesting one is, you decided to diversify your investment in more than 3 coins. It's such a good move.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the purpose of (fiat pegged) Stablecoins? on: April 19, 2021, 09:13:43 AM
I don't know about exchanges, but traders use it, and A LOT!! That is certainly one of the main reasons stable coins exists.
This is the answer. There is no reason to have a crypto pegged with 1:1 fiat, it's all about the function. Tether make it easy for traders to move their funds, and it help exchanges to provide fiat pairs without breaking government regulations.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOONG TIME, NO SEE! on: April 19, 2021, 03:11:09 AM
This is what we have to deal with, both btc and eth are  very expensive to transact with, eth is even the worst, it is hard to chew but you have to accept it, btc is high in price sane with eth, and high transaction fee is the price for it.
That's why I am no longer agree with the statement of bitcoin and ethereum is the digital currency. I am no longer treat both crypto as an alternative payment. I don't even call them money anymore.
Sending money on the internet supposed to be free and fast. While bitcoin and ethereum can't do that, I prefer to treat them as a digital asset. The platform to grow wealth. So whatever the fees, I can deal with it.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new funny/joke coin on: April 18, 2021, 08:24:43 PM
Tbh doge is enough. We don't need any new meme coin anymore. If you you look backwards, we already have many shitcoins launched and most of all is just waste of energy. If you have ability to create something new, please create something that may solved people problems nowadays, high gas fee, low tps, slow transaction etc. Of you don't want it to be a profitable project, then make it looks like stellar.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know any apps in phone that can mining Ethereum? on: April 18, 2021, 03:37:35 PM
Hi all! Do you know any apps in the phone (Android/iOS) which really allows mining Ethereum?
Well you must be heard this thing from any shit mining apps. Like all people have said here, ethereum can't be mine with a smartphone. And almost all of altcoins is not mineable on the smartphone. If you want to mine something, you need an effort, at least build a vga mining rig. Otherwise you will be end installing some shity faucet apps.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An unconfirmed tweet caused a $288 billion fall in bitcoin market value today on: April 18, 2021, 02:07:26 PM
I think the money laundering issue is not the first time for people who have jumped to bitcoin since last 5 years. Last time I've heard it's about the teroro fund or drugs stuff. Accept it or not, this kind of issue drives the price going down time to time especially for the weak hands who usually reading news via the title only.
But on the bright side, it's always a chance to buy the dip
