26  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Ebay 'Currency' on: June 19, 2016, 12:22:34 PM
Never heard of having money in an eBay account other than PayPal,  as timelord said.  Sounds somewhat.convoluted,  what you want to do.  Why not put up an auction for your eBay credit.   People there will buy anything,  even if it's retarded and just for the feedback.
No what I have is like physical gift cards that were bought with money that still have some on the card itself. I am willing to pay someone using the cards for btc. To use the cards I have to go through PayPal, that is what you should receive it in. So I do not have the money in MY PayPal but you should receive payment in yours.
Current offer I have received is .092btc for $71.39. If you have a better offer let me know.
27  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (WTS) 10 CODE AWS AMAZON @$100 price $50 on: June 18, 2016, 12:14:38 PM
Since no one with a good reputation has bought from you, could you send me one of the codes? I could give you a good vouch on this topic and more people would buy your gift cards. Even just a $5 or $10 gift card is fine.
Same here. You get me a free working code for even like $5 or more and I will let others know it is legit. This will make more people want to buy from you now and in the future.
28  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] Ebay 'Currency' on: June 18, 2016, 12:07:50 PM
(Let me know if this should be [WTT] instead of [WTS])
I currently have $71.39 sitting in my Ebay account that I am not doing anything with. I am hoping to sell it for BTC for an equal price.
I know it can be a long process to convert Bitcoins into usable currency through sites like Ebay and Amazon, so you are looking to purchase more 'Currency', I can easily buy some more gift cards or something to trade.

The preferred process would be to set up a private auction and only invite me. I can put down how much you want and would be paid the BTC.
If you are interested let me know sooner than later. The longer it sits the more tempted I will be to impulse buy some cheap miners. And please, don't let me impulse buy.

29  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [US] BFL Monarch Miners on: June 18, 2016, 02:30:34 AM
I have 20 I could sell.  Shipping from 28037.

They have the sleds.

Do you have a minimum that you are willing to ship or can I buy singles? Also how much are you looking to sell them for?
30  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] [US] BFL Monarch Miners on: June 18, 2016, 02:22:08 AM
i meant to ask you do u want/neet the metal sleds ? theese r much easier to ship without them as they dont fit in a flat rate box with the metal sleds

I would very much prefer the metal sleds as I would have no other way of holding the miners upright or together. Would it be easier to ship them separately or would that just cost more money?

it would cost extra without the sleds i can ship 2 monarchs for 16$ not sure how much extra the sleds would cost to ship , the dang sleds are just a lil to big to fit in a flat rate box

what i did with mine is stack them with the standoffs that they would normally bolt to the sleds with , the radiators will stand on there own , though if u want to stack multiple units ontop of each other it does help to ziptie one radator to the other so the vibration from the fans doesnt make one fall off the stack

Sounds good. How much will you be selling them for?

I am looking to buy some Monarch miners in good working condition.
I am NOT looking for bulk sales.

Comment if you have any general questions.
Specific questions or potential sellers can feel free to PM me and we can go from there.

I am hoping to buy each for .10 - .11BTC depending on shipping and whatnot.

(I have some money sitting on Ebay for some reason and wouldn't mind if we do something through that.)

how many r u looking for i have 8 or 9 working units , and one good board without a cooler the cooler leaked so i removed it and stuck the board off to the side as a spare

were are u located

06073 is my zip. I am only looking for 1 or 2 at the moment. This may change but for right now only a few.

34  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PSUs and Transistor Switches on: June 16, 2016, 06:47:16 PM
It's definitely overkill for what you're doing, but yes it should work. The thing to look for is logic-level drive, which that does.

Ok, thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PSUs and Transistor Switches on: June 16, 2016, 06:37:56 PM
The current draw should be on the order of milliamps, and no more than 5VDC. Pretty much any general purpose BJT or FET should work. That's exactly how the external turnon circuit on my server PSU interface boards works.

So something like this would be ok?
IRF520 MOSFET Driver Module for Arduino

I currently have a Corsair CX750 80+ Bronze Certified running my s5. It has no problems and the miner itself works perfectly fine. I am using the paperclip trick to keep the PSU on and use the switch in the back to turn it off/on.
I now want to control when it is off and on with an Arduino. The best way I can think of doing this is connecting a transistor switch to the pins of the PSU and the Arduino.

My question is what type of transistor should I get? I did a bit of research and found that transistors are made to handle only specific loads so obviously I cannot get something too weak.
I guess the real question is how many amps/volts are passed between PS_on and ground (the wires that the paperclip are in) on the 24 pin? If I can figure this out I can reasonably find a transistor that will work.

If there is a significantly easier way to do this and I am just a moron, please let me know. I am trying not to buy another PSU to do this and I already have the Arduino if that helps.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 12, 2016, 01:23:12 PM
With specifically Bitcoin, buying little amounts at a time will turn into a lot of money.

You could also put your money into regular savings accounts and stuff like that. Depending on how much you put in, you could gain some sizable investments.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is halving. Is it really profitable ? on: June 10, 2016, 01:12:04 PM
About when should this halfing occur?

I know it is almost impossible to tell when it will happen but some say it will be in June, others say July.
What is the commonly accepted range of days that it will likely half?
39  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] [US] 2 Monarch Miners in Good Condition on: June 09, 2016, 08:12:14 PM
I am looking to buy Two Monarch miners that still can hash 700 Gh/s + 10% without the need of any overclocking.

The coolant system should not have any faults or leaks and still be relatively quiet.
If the software is up to date and it comes with any required wires that would be cool too.

Comment if you have any general questions.
Specific questions or potential sellers can feel free to PM me and we can go from there.

I am hoping to buy both for .12-.15BTC but I am open to offers depending on quality and whatnot.
I am also willing to accept offers of just one miner if available.

(I have some money sitting on Ebay for some reason and wouldn't mind if we do something through that.)
40  Bitcoin / Legal / Bitcoin transactions and Theft on: June 09, 2016, 07:20:27 PM
What legal actions can someone take if their credit card were to be stolen and used to buy Bitcoins?

Would the wallet account still be considered anonymous or could the IP be traced during the purchase?
Also would it matter if the wallet is a physical piece of hardware or if it is hosted online on places such as 'Coinbase' or other sites?

I know this sounds like a weird question but it is 100% theoretical. I do not plan to steal credit cards nor have I gotten my card stolen.
