i think you are expecting too much from the halving. Nothing is going to explode. The price will rise as always. but it will not top out at 5000 $ in a day

What exactly is a wave coin? Is it like a stock? will it be used in a store later? What do you do with it? I am kinda confused as to how it holds value?
Is it part ownership in a company and the price is dependent on what people are willing to buy and sell it for? For instance bitcoin can be used to get money on a poker site, its like money. What is a wave token and why is it worth something? What will it be used for in the the future?
Clearly, I am new to crypto.
Any help appreciated thanks.
If you really are interested read the first page of this thread. Do some research about how cryptocurrency works. Waves is one of many tokens circulating right now, and all have very similar ideas. The amount of money invested in this token is pretty high though. So the idea seems to be great, according to all the investors. The future will tell. |

A note: I worked for Nxt(core dev) in 2014 and now working on Scorex ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1103640 ). Nxt core devs were sceptical about smart contracts inclusion into core. I myself was also sceptical about some things included into Nxt core Bitcoin developers switched off many opcodes for a reason ( http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/25225/what-was-the-vulnerability-in-v0-3-4-that-allowed-an-attacker-to-steal-coins ). Then Vitalik complicated security conundrum with its "Turing-complete" approach. Now Ethereum guys are making the biggest error in their career going to do a hardfork, because not all the contracts are equal and some of them are too big to fail. There are some talks(copied from Bitcoin community) on "miners will decide", but it is unlikely miners will have any reasonable discussion. Instead, they will just follow the "digital Lenin". It is time to go another path. The core must be as simple as that. But it also need to be powerful enough to support protocols and applications built outside the core. There are many designs possible, and there are many open questions and concerns about them. Nevertheless, as the topic is going to be hot, I would like to propose one design in July or August (after Scorex 2.0 release). What does hardfork even mean? |

The market disagrees. Folks are buying back in again. Saying that the Ethereum team has done a good job.
I don't get it
I see plenty of blood on the streets, and looks like a bull trap or dead cat bounce, but regardless the longterm credibility is now going to be tainted and haunt not only the DAO but ETH as well. DAO turned out to be a CAO ... and a too big too fail cow too, a sacred CAO It's going to fail eventually. Too many flaws. It's just a matter of time in my opinion. Until then i am still going to invest in it for short term trading. |

Sasha, you know I respect this project and have asked to speak to you about some ideas I have. I am only asking for the team to be respectful even in the face of ignorance. You guys have done a phenomenal job but have recently dropped the ball on updating us.
I am sure there are reasons but please do not forget those people that have supported this project.
well somehow I don't agree with this maybe I was too busy with the software but I'm constantly on slack and basically everywhere else guys I'm sleeping like 4 hours, the rest of the day I'm online and I have a family lol are you a fucking troll pls tell as are you a fucking troll? ? you took 20m usd from ico...you fucker .....!!! "I'm sleeping like 4 hours" you can pay smart dev's to do your job ...and a good project manager ...and go to sleep for a few months even years.... Stop the whining. The devs are doing a great job here. I don't get, why people are so sturdy. If you invested money you need so desperately, you are in the wrong place here. No official statement ever told us, there would be an exchange start on the 14th. They told us, that they'll release node to exchanges on the 14th, which they did. Everything else is up to the exchanges. People here are constantly moaning around. This thread is unbelievable. If you invested money you can't wait for for a couple of days, then at least read the roadmap and plan ahead. |
