21  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian bank helps Venezuela defy US cryptocurrency sanctions on: June 22, 2018, 10:49:07 PM
It seems the only thing that can help Venezuela is ovethrowing of their current government. These are not US sanctions killing the country, but completely incompetent socialist government.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: June 22, 2018, 10:46:12 PM
I think these two categories shouldn't be even compared. If you believe that you would be able to earn more bitcoin it you had better education then it's smart to invest that way. Otherwise, what is the goal of studying?
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is most likely going to die, here is why... on: June 22, 2018, 09:59:28 PM
I think bitcoin uniqueness lies in its genesis. Initially, it was adopted by IT-enthusiasts and libertarian who obtained a fair share of it and believe in it ideologically. That means that these people won't let anyone devour or destroy bitcoin.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5990$ right now dump just started. on: June 22, 2018, 09:52:23 PM
I am in BTC for long term. As far as I can't predict where the price goes next, I prefer taking that turbulence easy. Yes, it would be great to fix the profit at the right moment, but the risk of losing money persists.

I am extremely happy that Spotcoin Pre-ICO closed with a soldout! Congrats on that! The next milestone will be your hardcap!
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you listen to analytics? on: June 17, 2018, 10:58:40 PM
I don't trust any of them. Firstly, they may be pursuing their own intersts when saying something. Secondly, with such volatility and dependence on the news, making predictions is a vain thing.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 17, 2018, 10:55:40 PM
If you have some funds to get by and no people who you need to provie for, quitting is not a bad idea. If you are ambitios and think you deserve more or just want to do something you really like instead of sitting all day in an office, it's better to challenge yourself and leave.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need to hold altcoins on: June 17, 2018, 10:52:54 PM
I don't think all altcoins are suitable for holding. I bought some alts just because they were had a great hype potential and were acclaimed by Reddit users. When I buy something for holding, I truly believe in the project and want it to come true.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any free marketing tips to get investors for your ICO? on: June 17, 2018, 10:39:20 PM
The best way yo attract invesment is to have at least a working prototype of your product. Moreover, you should know both stengths and weaknesses of it and put good emphasis on the competitive advantage when you are pitching it to a potential investor.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Selecting an ICO on: June 17, 2018, 10:06:22 PM
You can check out ICO rating websites such as ICORating, ICOBench and ICOBazaar. Apart from ratings, they usually have calendars of ICOs which also include past projects and show how much they collected.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: June 17, 2018, 09:54:38 PM
Great to see so many HODLers in that topic. Hopefully, you all are writing it sincerely and really hold till the moon. Panic sell is always dumb.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you remember Bitconnect? I lost 3500 dollars in this pyramid! on: June 17, 2018, 09:52:37 PM
Bitconnect was a really massive Ponzi. You can google and see how posh their conferences looked like. Most of you must know that memetical video of a dude yelling "Wussap!"
34  Economy / Economics / Re: What is bitcoin backed by? on: June 17, 2018, 09:50:19 PM
Bitcoin is backed by its technology which implies fixed supply and impregnability and unchangability of the code. Also, mass trust backs bitcoin as well.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to World' income on: June 17, 2018, 09:46:50 PM
I think currently bitcoin doesn't contribute to the world's wealth. It only helps to redistribute that wealth. It will help to create new wealth if it eventually manages to replace the fiat money system so governments won't be able to abuse the monopoly over money and spoil the economy pursuing political goals.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers or Tether - who do we blame? on: June 17, 2018, 08:28:52 PM
I believe that only Tether here is a great threat to bitcoin. That's 2 830 109 502 USDT minted and there is no proof that money really exist. Just imagine what will happen if it turns out there is no real dollars behind.
37  Other / Archival / Re: No more fake news on: June 17, 2018, 08:16:59 PM
You cannot exterminate the fake news completely as they are to dependent on human actions. And as you know, people are prone to making mistakes.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Bitcoin Question on: June 17, 2018, 08:15:25 PM
Basically, Bitcoin can die only if some more technologically improved and conenient cryptocurrency replaces it. Despite we can see some bitcoin competitors which have various advantages over it, they are still too weak to replace btc.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and the ICO on: June 17, 2018, 08:11:56 PM
I don't think ICOs are hurting bitcoin directly. They just create more diversity and competition. Moreover, unlike bitcoin most of ICOs have particular narrow fields of application.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ◄💠►ANN◄►ICO►🔵🔵SPOTCOIN🔵🔵【Bounty】💠✅51% Dividend🔥NEO🔥 on: June 10, 2018, 06:45:55 PM
Interestingly it turned out with airdrops. There was such hype that I I was late for some of them. It is wonderful that the project is gaining such popularity.

Same thing. I wanted to participate in EFX airdrop, but it was already depleted when I applied. Spotcoin team is really smart with partnerships.
