I forgot to mention.

Fees generated by the Fiat Makets are included in within the APT Program so you could start seeing FIAT Balances......
22  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange !! First APT profit payout !! SUCCESS!! on: October 03, 2016, 12:17:00 PM
Plans for october sound really exiting. Smiley
What currencies will you support for fiat, I guess it's either usd or euro?
And you plan to offer fiat trading sometime this month?

Fiat trade systems are already in place and ready for operation, initially were going to launch with the obvious 3, but there's no reason to consider us set on those 3, with support will always come adoption, something worth considering. All we have to consider is the operational cost and risks, we have a pritty rugged format for how it all works and the checks in place.

So USD, GBP and AUD will be available to start, there will be deposit and withdrawal limits initially, walk before we run.

EURO's is something we should probably consider, it does after all encompass a massive massive market, well see what other legal hoops are needed for a EURO Fiat Market.

In terms of getting deposits and withdrawals processed there are a couple of different options open to us, But you can expect the normal, Direct Banking, SWiFT/IBAN, Skrill and something no one else has...... You..... more on that one after the markets lets walk Smiley

And because we have to comply with the law, you will need account verification if you plan to deposit Fiat currencys, you can trade into and out off fiat without verification, you can also withdraw without verification upto $150 per month, subject to a few terms

Morning All

A update for you all after week one.

Several bugs have been found and fixed, in almost all cases reporters were rewarded for there troubbles,
almost all have been fixed and the system is running nicely.

Some statistics for you all,

APT Week 1 :-: Total BTC Value of Payouts 0.10 BTC
APT Week 1 :-: Total Users Paid in Round 19
APT Week 1 :-: Total Unpaid Users in Round 0
APT Week 1 :-: Order Count in Round - 119 with Fee

Registered Users - 128
Confirmed Registered Users - 105
Active Users - 105

Signature Campain Users Total :-:
Signature Campain Payout Total :-:

Some thoughts - well were rather chipper with ourselfs, its been productive, uptake has been a bit faster than expected
one the whole users are reporting posative experiances, a few "niggles" about the way data is displayed, but on the whole its been a great first week for us, well take that all day everyday and twice on sunday thanks.

So thank you to those who have taken the time to help visit chat etc

Wed better set some Goals For October so here they are, by the end of october heres where wed like to been

1000 Registered/Active Users
1 BTC In generated Fees
75 Coins
150 Markets
Fiat Markets Opened

Now onto a slighty worrying devolopment, we have found the first big bug, that has resulted in MINOR, coin loss, a user was able to exploit a call on the faucets and get more coins than they was entitled to, they attempted to reportert this to use, but before we had a chance to complete the investigation, said user cashed out for a whopping
monster total of 0.03 BTC, i have already replaced this from my own coin supplys, so theres no need to panic. Now this is important for everyone else who finds bugs, whilst bug hunting is usually done for the good of others, the moment you put a withdraw request for those coins it become theft, and wont be tollerated. The irony in this case here
is they got 0.03 BTC from the platform, and i would have personally paid them 1,000 APT, Worth way more than what they got, so Epic Win for the assailant there.

Whilst incidents like this are totally undesirable, and looking at the way exchanges deal with these incidents in the past, we feel it better to just be honest with our auidence at large, the user in quiestion has been banned from the software, and we will monitor this situation very carefully, the faucets are offline untill further notice (should only be a day), the BitCoin that was removed from the exchange 0.03 BTC has been replaced from my own Reserves, No user balances were touched, the incident was between the faucets and our distribution user, so the coins taken were our own to begin with (hopefully that makes some sence).

So there it is folks, a good week from where were sat.

Let us know what you think, how you think we can improve, if you have questions about the "incident" just fire away,
lets get you guys more of what you want and less of what you dont.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: October 01, 2016, 12:47:51 PM
Hey guys,

Have spent the last few days trying to resolve the wallet issues to no avail.

If anyone has a way to making netcoin stay on the right chain and sync like it should im all ears, if i cant find a solution soon, ill abandon our faucets markets and games for netcoin i just dont have the time to look into this anymore
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AltEx.ws Signature campaign/Avatar Campaign!! on: October 01, 2016, 09:42:43 AM
And just so that were clear. And for everyone else.

APT Is designed to be held, its designed to earn you money each and everyweek, the APT you earn from the program are yours and entitle you to a share of the proffits for as long as you hold them

Every other sig campain out there ends when there out of money, once its over payments stop. Welcome to altex, where you could be getting paid for efforts here today, for the next howxeverxmany years, every friday APT Payments run, every friday youll get a payment.

But thats summit else youd know if you read ANYTHING weve posted
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AltEx.ws Signature campaign/Avatar Campaign!! on: October 01, 2016, 09:37:01 AM
So guys since APT is your made up coin like all other exchanges have one, you really expect people to buy that 320k for 32BTC?
Even if I wanted to join and then receiving 80 APT only selling at 0.0001 would earn me barely $5 bucks meaning less than a buck a day.

So I'd reconsider increase of payments to give more incentive to people to join if I was or were you lolllzz. Cheesy

1. Its not a coin, i see you back to not reading and assuming, weve never called it a coin, it has no phisical code backing it, no blockchain, no nada, its a token, thats issued tracked and distributed. But again should you have taken the time to read and learn youd better understand this.

2. Even if you wanted to join, we would reserve the right to refuse entry into the APT Program,  less than a buck a day you say? thats not bad considering in our first week we generated 0.10 in Proffits from just 94 users i think it was, from where were sat thats excellent progress, but your just here for the quick buck and this has become aparant in your replys, not willing to read or learn, and its a shame, because if you understood the APT Program, youd be silent.

320K for 32 BTC, i think you are confused here again, 320k some arbatrary value youve picked up? theres 400,000 tokens for public issue and sale, were garanteeing 50k will be given away, would could easily give away 200K if we wanted to, and we still could.....

4. So actually since all your assumpions and statments are seriously floored, we will respectfully decline your request to review APT Payments and rates at this time.

All the best

I see in this thread payouts for the ranks are different from signature campaign thread payouts like here you say 20APT weekly for full members  while in other thread it's 40APT.
Also wanted to know that what makes people to trade at your site when everything they need is already being provided to them in services such as for example: cryptopia and yobit not to mention the big and major exchanges like ccex, polo, bitrex, etc.

I don't think the design or your hard work going to do much in convincing people to leave the already well established exchanges and join yours, however I believe if you spend some from pocket and sustain a competition with yobit in terms of advertising for long term then it might be possible for you but very challenging.

We are talking about income as much as 3 or 4 BTC a day in fees earnings though after 2 or 3 months of heavy pocket spending.
If you really want to earn 4 BTC daily after 2 months then you seriously need to at least spend 0.5BTC just to advertise daily starting from now.

I wasnt gonna bother but screw it i will.

1. The fee thing will be fixed, i hadnt noticed that.

2. Cryptopia Yobit whatever, there outright exchanges, we will soon be offering alot more than just an exchange, if you read the posts, youd know that, were no intrested in making anyone leave another service, we want people to come and take a look, if they like what they see they will trade, you dont steal an audiance mate you build one, along with a community, and you do that with hard work and effort

3. Spend some from our own pockets, who do you think pays for the hosting, the software the coders and everything else??? 3 years in weve spent almost $50,000 of our own money already, weve spent more than $20,000 on our new platform, and we all work aswell 9 to 5. This aint every gonna be a get rich quick scheme, its a long term investment, its a long term project, we build update evaluate, weve come such along way from 3 where we was its not even funny.

4. No your talking about income of 3 or 4 BTC a day in fees, weve never mentioned how much we hope to make, it dont matter to us what we make, if we personally, break even id take that right now, im so not concerned about my earnings, i aint even taking my cut of the apt earnings, they will stay in the pot for the users. 2 Months, another arbirary timeline, weve never mentioned where we wanna be in 2 months, and it aint there. In the next 2 months wed take 2500 new user signups and consider that decent progress.

You dont walk before you run
You dont assume, it makes ass out of you and me
NASA Didnt just put a man on the moon
Physisits didnt just invent and explode the nuclear warhead

you spend your money, you build, you test, you evolve, you check, you recheck, only then do you send man to the moon, denonate a nuke, you walk before you run

All services have been restored.

Ive had a blast thru the logs, this only affected 3% of our users, When you login from a new IP Address you trigger an email alert to notify you a new ip has been detected, if this fails to send account login is not
permitted, its actually a security feature that untill today had gone untested.

Nice to know it works as it should, exchange becomes seperated from the email server for any reason, Access Denied. Ill put a prittier error message though rather than all that verbose output

Okay so

Step 1 :-: IV Bag of caffine - Check
Step 2 :-: Bitch - Done
Step 3 :-: Fix Error  - Done
Step 4 :-: Get oppertunistic - Done
Step 5 :-: Push major update to platform version 5.6.0.21 ((NEW Features Comming)) - IN PROGRESS
Step 6 :-; Appolagise to angry ppl

Im sorry about this hassle folks, it does happen from time to time, there nothing wrong with our
databases and wallets have passed audits, so no need to stress about any of that.

A POLITE (since i was rude earlier) Notice.

Guys, were not ment to be a bank, please make sure you read all our material on the forums etc, we
do not like and wont tollerate being used like a bank, now that said you gotta have coins with us to trade, but when your trading is done, you really should be withdrawing your coins, the only way for you to be in full control of everything is to take responcibility for whats yours, i wouldnt for example walk into macdonals and say to the chap here hold this wallet whilst i take a leak, in essance this is what you do with every exchange and service on the plannet, we all do it were all guilty of it, but please remember were not a bank.

We take our security seriously, this whole project is years of hard work, blood, sweat and tears, i cant beging to tell you how many keyboards ive been thru in the last 3 years, but i do order them 20 at a time on ebay haha.

Be about 45mins or so for full service to resume, once everythings uploaded a ton of security checks and audits need to be performed, then you can all go nuts

Enjoy

Just checked  https://altex.ws/Market/APT and it seems there is no good buy order for this token, is this meant to be a future market? It might be better if the dev will be buying back this token at some decent rates because this forum is full of impatient people that needs their funds when they needs it.

Its a shame you didnt read the ANN to go with it.

POLITE NOTICE TO ALL USERS WERE NOT A BANK, YOU SHOULDNT BE STORING COINS WITH US, DEPOSIT TRADE WITHDRAW

This needs more advertising.

Were working on it, theres so much going on right now it CRAZY.

But progress is good, from a traffic point of view, user registrations are ticking up nicely, deposits and withdrawals are running perfectly, its amazing to see some people to deposit just to withdraw it but its going well, analytics also shows a good steady growth rate so were getting there, and we have served around 3 times more traffic already this month than last month.

One step one day.

If you have any other suggestions feel free to let us know were all willing here.

PS you have no idea how cool it is seeing the altex logo and sigs popping up EVERYWHERE
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Suspicious link removed] Signature campaign/Avatar Campaign!! on: September 28, 2016, 10:15:19 AM
BITDV, can you list me as part of the users who participated on avatar campaign?
While I don't have an avatar of my own, i guess i can use this space as well to promote the exchange.

By the way,  site loads so slow and it eventually prompt me this error:
Code:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Failure sending mail.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Exception: Failure sending mail.

Yeah like i was saying in the previous post they were doing back end work on the exchange so probly unfortunate timing wise but its working fine mate and added you to the avatar campaign mate

That was an oversight on our part, we upgraded our mail platform and in my haste i might have forgot to update the email password for the exchange result, slow website and failed email sending.

Do you plan to bounties for members of the forum?

Were open to ideas and suggestions, AltEx is more or will be more than just an exchange, we want a community to go with it.

So if you have some ideas for promotion get intouch and well see what can be done
