My first custom Kernel for AMD HD7850 Pitcarn : m 23:30:25|ethminer-1.1.8 Mining on PoWhash #b558a53c : 16.74MH/s [A0+0:R0+0:F0] m 23:30:26|ethminer-1.1.8 Mining on PoWhash #b558a53c : 16.74MH/s [A0+0:R0+0:F0] m 23:30:26|ethminer-1.1.8 Mining on PoWhash #b558a53c : 16.74MH/s [A0+0:R0+0:F0]
YEAY Nice! How much increase from my kernel? My HD7850 (OC'd to 1050/1500) running your v.1.1.7 gets 12MH/s in Win10 with 15.12 drivers. 16.7MH/s is HUGE. Seriously, me want!

...The only thing that's lame is the ATX power supply - if you're scaling to something like this, you'll probably be using server PSU as their quality is much higher and cost is much lower. All of my 6x card systems use server PSU - so apart from that, I think it's a cool idea... I've not heard of anyone mining with server hardware - most people I've read prefer consumer hardware for the low entry cost. Are you only using server power supplies, or are you using server motherboards? Actually, would you mind posting the hardware configs for one of your 6x miner setups? I'm always interested in alternative setups...

I've created a custom bios for the rx 480 and successfully flashed it onto a ubuntu test machine. Will be testing it for the next day or so.
My goal will to lower temps and power draw ~20% or more.
VERY interested in your results. Best of luck!

now i have cpu with motherboard FM 2 + A4 6300 (for mining) and im use asrock fatality K4/D3 + i5 6400 for daily usage, my power supply seasonic X1250 gold + FSP hexa Arum
i want to use FSP hexa aurum for 2motherboard then i can use seasonic only vor vga
any special cable ? or any trick ?
My first concern is the amperage draw. If you're considering this, I'd strongly suggest researching the amps provided on each line for your PSU (3.3v, 5v, 12v). You need to make sure that PSU supplies enough amps to supply both boards without being overtaxed. Also, not sure how powering on would work...pushing power button on one mobo would turn PSU on, which would send power to both PCs...yeah, more I think about this, the riskier it sounds. Tread carefully bro.

I've never seen a riser like those before...those look really interesting. Anyone know of an online vendor selling these?

I've decided to give you some insight to what perf looks like on stock 1060 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FSEKkfih.jpg&t=663&c=B78SBhPGYfAh_Q) and what about power consumption? 1060 vs 1070 TPD is 120W vs 150W so it seems 1070 may looks better in efficiency... 92w at 20mhs eth and up to 120w on other algos Were the stats you provided (92w at 20MH/s) on stock clocks, or OC'd? Also, I assume the 92w is the mining wattage minus the idle wattage, correct?

@Claymore Any ideas to what might cause this error msg GPU 2, OpenCL error -4 - cannot create DAG on GPU I only recently get this error, after some random number of watchdog restarts the gpu builds the dag fine, i tried serializing dag generation and lowering clocks neither has any effect.
Which GPU model, driver version, system RAM do you use? Edit: On an unrelated note all 7950 and 280 cards on this rig only show 64% gpu load in gpuz...Also my other rig 5 r9 280x all gpu show 64% gpu usage. My 7850 has always shown 64% usage - I've never seen it go higher. I've no idea why the card doesn't max out, I figured this was normal. If you find a way to get your cards to 100% utilization, I'd be interested to know what you did. What speed are you getting with your 7850? I am getting 11.6 MH/s ETH, 232 MH/s DCR with 1000/1500 clocks, -dcri 40 in Ubuntu 14.04 I'm getting 11.8MH/s Eth, 189 MH/s DCR with 1050/1450 clocks, -dcri 32 in Win10. Seems we're pretty similar.

I followed the Ethereum setup guide at http://www.awesomeminer.com/guide/ethereum.aspx, and I was able to get Dual Mining running, but I'm having problems with everything else. My miner shows "Interface Offline", I'm getting no reported Speed or Coin values, every tab on the bottom portion of the screen is empty, and the dashboard shows no information. Basically, my program looks like a ghost town compared to your screenshots. The attraction of this software is the monitoring bells and whistles, but none of them work when I follow your setup guide, so I'm lost here...
