21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 26, 2022, 09:57:40 PM
I am quite conservative in spending money, especially on gambling games.  Among the explanation on OP, I think I am a conservative gambler.  I never play gambling for entertainment, I am more inclined to play pc games than bet in a casino.  The only occasion I play in gambling is whenever some gambling games catch my interest.  And when I play I often have limited funds.  I maybe sometimes lean on the casual social gambler type but most of the time I am on the conservative gambler group.

Based from the list, I can say, I am a conservative gambler as well. So yes, I only allot certain amount for gambling. And if my losses are already within my limits, I stop. Also, I bet from time to time for example, I know the boxers and I feel I have the advantage to bet on this particular boxer. But if not, I just stay with how much money I can afford to lose. Because I know, if I will push myself, I will end up losing all my funds.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC transaction so slow on: June 25, 2022, 10:23:11 PM
I am probably going to get nailed for this but its the truth, BTC transaction sucks🤦‍♀️ its slow as a snail, I am trying go send some bitcoin to exchange using my trust wallet and it's just there over 5 minutes, imagine been in haste in a store nearby trying to pay with BTC using your wallet and this happens, you are forced to wait around till the transaction go through, not a good feeling at all.

As if it was once a big secret Smiley Bitcoin has always been a very slow blockchain, and very expensive, at the peak of the hype transactions cost 300-500 satoshi per byte. This is especially striking when you compare transaction processing speed with altcoins. There is nothing we can do about it, it's all about block size, it's limited to 1 megabyte and blocks are created once in 10 minutes, although there were cases when block could not appear for an hour. Since the cryptocurrency is very popular, and one block can hold about 3,000 transactions, everything is very slow, and the introduction of LN is not as fast as we would like it to be.

People up to now are still complaining with btc transaction and it is very understandable. It is one of the reasons why the adoption in using it as payment method is not very fast. The use of LN would be a very good solution but not many crypto users are well aware how to use it and so with the merchants or shops. If the transaction is fast and cheap, I believe, many people will use it for payment purposes. But until then, most are storing it for potential investments.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 24, 2022, 11:00:25 PM
So Bitcoins have started recovering as we can see from the charts.
Yesterday Bitcoins were at 17k USD and now currently it has crossed 20k USD. It’s now at around 20,800 USD and it’s still increasing.
It’s not yet late to buy the Bitcoins, those have panicked and sold their Bitcoins, now it’s time again to buy it.
Yes, Bitcoin price is increasing but that doesn't mean it is the right time to buy. I am not sure if it is a sign that Bitcoin price is starting to recover, too early I guess. We are still in Q2 of the first year of the bearish season, why do we need to hurry to buy Bitcoin now? I prefer to wait for Q3 or Q4 of this year to consider buying Bitcoin or some altcoins. If the market is still in a huge drop, maybe Q1 of the next year is also a good time to buy. So, there is still a lot of time for buying, no need to hurry or panic buying.  Grin If the scenario will be as usual 4 year-cycles of bearish-bullish, we still have about 2 years to fill our wallets. The BTC price recovery will begin in 2024, that probably the first year of the next bullrun.

The right time to buy depends on the capability of the person himself. If he has spare funds, there's no right or wrong time to buy. As long as he knows his goals in this market. And if he will sell it higher than his buying price, then, the market condition is not really a bottleneck for him. And we know that only a matter of time, before we see btc price going up again.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana survived the crash on: June 23, 2022, 11:22:04 PM
Solana from its chart, still more or less following the trend of btc, it even has its correction that causes it to lose majority of its value, I doubt it could be said that they succeed overcoming against the current trend.
Instead, solana is just like any other altcoins, just like ETH that also have massive correction after luna disaster further push the significance of the trend.
Although it could be said that solana still better off than most of the altcoins out there.

They have good foundation to begin with, so even if they suffer loss in this period, they can get back again as for me, they are not an empty project. They do have real use case and that's the reason why some projects are using their network. When btc starts to rise again, I think, SOL can keep up with the btc market. But of course, if you are a holder, better keep an eye in terms of their developments. At least check if their targets are moving.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2022, 09:52:13 PM
What do you think will be the bottom for Bitcoin, from which it will begin to recover? Another question is whether now is the best time to invest or whether waiting for more dump is advisable.
You can't precisely predict the bottom price of bitcoin since its always uncertain in the first place. No one here is good enough to do that. But you can still invest even if it's not the bottom price, just by doing DCA. After all, your aim is to hold bitcoin for long term investment so even if you don't buy at its bottom, as long as you only sell them at its good and reasonable price, you will still be profitable. Just be patient once you invest as bitcoin may not recover its price easily as it could take a year for it to recover.

We can only speculate about the bottom price but we can't be very sure what price level it will hit rock bottom for this bear season. Like for example, we can say, it may hit the $15k level but who are you gonna believe, right? So it really depends on how will the market behaves in the coming days. Even the so-called experts in this industry, can't guarantee what level we will stop or what will be the bottom price in this bearish period. And you may want to take advantage of this opportunity if you want to get more satoshis.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📌[ANN][ICO]🚀 AMBAR COIN 🚀🌟🚀🚀 on: June 22, 2022, 09:12:47 PM
What are the latest updates concerning Ambar coin?

It has been two weeks that has passed but their website is still not up and working. Also, they may look for other funding activities as ICO these days are not very successful. And where exactly are their physical stores located?

Has anyone ordered their physical Ambar coin in this forum?
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: June 22, 2022, 08:06:40 PM
I hope you know the implications of making your ways around vpn on gambling mediums, it's is good for privacy but you should look around every footer of casino platforms for terms and conditions before you make any deposit or have it in mind to play. If you mistakenly forget to put on your vpn and login on any of them, just know that is the beginning of 1000 ways of losing your hard earned money to house, they wouldn't allow you to withdraw until provide extra documents which of course you may not have.

This is the possible drawback of using VPN, because once you forgot to use VPN upon logging in, then, you more than likely are screwed. If the casino has their IP detectors and are strict, as you said, that's the beginning of 1000 ways of losing your funds in the casino. This is why, if the casino is not allowing the use of VPN, better not use it. Make sure you have read their ToS before sending any funds to them, otherwise, it will be your fault if you lose your funds. And if they are VPN-friendly, do you think you won't get any trouble if in case you win big? Some casinos will find loopholes not to pay.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, not your coins" on: June 22, 2022, 07:24:06 PM
It is possible in centralised exchange to recover your account by reset your password by email. But it is not possible to recover your account if you hold your coin on any decentralized all it like trustwallet or metamask etc. Because decentralized all it provide a security phase for import the wallet but centralised exchange  have email and password for login . So I think centralised exchange is safe for holding but decentralized exchange also a great opportunity for decentralized because decentralized wallet have a security key and it can easily access any wallet if you have that key. And it is not possible to hack in any way. But centralised exchange have  apossibility for hacking

Maybe, if you want to hold some coin in centralized exchange, don't leave it too long. Because the possibility of hacking and other attacks are always there. Even if we say the exchange is a top exchange, they are still vulnerable to any kind of attack because hacker tools are getting sophisticated. When it comes to decentralized wallets, what you need to make sure is the security of your keys. Don't forget where you hide it once you need it. And don't download any software application that you are not familiar of because there maybe malwares inside that can steal your vital data.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has less hassles in terms of multiple verifications? on: June 22, 2022, 05:00:30 AM
Hard to say OP. These "hassles" (e.g. reverification) are typically on a case-by-case basis and users most of the time are in the dark of what exactly triggers them. In addition identity verification softwares exchanges use don't always work so it's possible for your re/verification attempt to be rejected.

If you wanna go with CEXes, best you can do is read their TOS and make sure you aren't breaking them. Generally, US based exchanges tends to be relatively strict. There are also dubious ones like hitbtc that should be avoided as well so make sure to DYOR.

In my experience, binance is one of the easiest to submit and passed the KYC requirements. Once you submitted the document, it won't take long for them to verify your identity. Also make sure that you have clear camera to get a clear view of your ID and your face so they won't ask you twice about this. What I like about binance even if it is a centralized one, is that they have wide-ranging services, staking, savings, p2p and others. And their liquidity is great if you want to execute your orders in prompt manner.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 21, 2022, 11:32:16 PM
Right now we can see a little improvement in market prices, which means that soon on the forum posts about recovery and trend change will appear. I suggest no to jump to conclusions and wait for few weeks. As usually, nothing will happen. We will see a growth during working days and a fall on weekend. As usually, Summer is most boring time for cryptocurrency.
I don't think anyone will be bored this summer. The weekend was the opposite, with a rise or rebound instead of a fall. But that's probably because the US stock exchanges were closed for trading. It seems to me that after the opening the fall might continue, as the S&P chart looks very sad.

Agreed, the bearish times will likely continue until the point when FRC will announce rate hike less than 0.5... like 0.25 this might help to reverse the market

of course, there are other factors as well that might contribute as well...

Month of June is almost over, so yes, I believe the bearish season will still continue this coming month. But keep an eye with good news and it can change overnight. So let's see how this coming month pans out. Also, while waiting make sure you are also doing your part of how to make some money during these trying times.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: June 21, 2022, 09:39:32 PM
Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment?I've been trading options on BTC for about three years now, and I've made significant gains, how does everyone invest?
Investing in bitcoin is always good decision. Since the market is much dip now. This is a great opportunity to invest in Bitcoin. It is doubtful whether we will ever see such a dip in the price of Bitcoin in future. So it would be wise to save Bitcoin now.

If you have strong belief that bitcoin has good future, this is one of the few opportunities that you can collect satoshis at a cheaper price. Because if it starts to go up, would be hard for you to spend money. We can't guarantee this market, but when it comes to btc, I have high hopes that it has better future than most alts. Remember, up until today, no alt has ever surpassed its position.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 21, 2022, 08:35:52 PM
It is impossible to make the regulations of all cryptocurrencies today, which number more than 20k, a month New Listed Coins can reach 1000, maybe an easy regulation is like what Dex does, namely with liquidity, with large liquidity it will make the scam project will decrease.

Just take a very good example, the Monero coin, can the government regulate a privacy coin? I don't think so. So only few of these coins can be regulated by the government, most are those that are heavily used in the market like BTC, LTC, BNB or XRP. But about 90% of alts, won't make it in the regulation board of the government. Besides, let us admit that only few alts are being used by crypto users on a daily basis. Most of them are just used for possible short-term profits and very few for long-term investments, because their lifespan is too short.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: June 21, 2022, 08:02:13 PM
Bitcoin will break twenty thousand (20k) and approximately thirty thousand (30k) if time is not taken, because nobody expected the downgrade of bitcoin to be twenty thousand (20k) and even fall below twenty thousand to be nineteen thousand, which it rose to accelerate a little, i believe that bitcoin regulations can break down the bond of twenty and speed up a little.

This market is indeed very unpredictable. We haven't seen this coming to go down below 20k. A lot thought that it will stop at $30k. But then, as this market is very volatile, you need to be ready whatever may happen to the market. And you should have the list of what to buy or sell in this period to maximize your profits. Or just hold some valuable alts and wait for the market to recover. In this situation, we have our own preferences on how to tackle this market.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: EU suggests we should all go eco and sing kumbaya on: June 20, 2022, 10:30:18 PM
Organic farming is always good and more people have moved to it. This can be enriched through education, from the very beginning students need to be taught about Self reliance on meeting their needs. When one can fulfill his needs on his own automatically the production can be lowered. However this needs to be executed after a big research and opinion from the common people.

Already we've got a failure and the country is experiencing its hard days. In Sri Lanka, Organic Farming Went Catastrophically Wrong

I think, if one country will go to organic farming. They should not totally leave their traditional farming methods or the method that they previously used to implement in their farming. Because they don't know yet the drawbacks of going into organic faming. The benefits are good but can it sustain the whole nation? So right now, they should supplement it with the farming that they used before. There's no rush anyway. They can simultaneously do the organic farming as well as other farming techniques.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you ready to buy/sell for bitcoins now? on: June 20, 2022, 09:34:06 PM
Right now the cryptomarket is in its decline market. So anything done in exchange for bitcoin will get you increased value in bitcoin. In my country the cryptocurrency acceptance is quite low and the taxation over the same is high. This makes people to handle cryptocurrency usage in a secret manner. For now I don't have the access to buy/sell anything for bitcoin. Hope this will change in the coming years.

I wonder how your government officials implement taxation laws towards crypto usage. So if you can transact with crypto without the knowledge of your government, why not?  Tongue Because if you are just dealing with small amounts, it is not worth submitting it for taxation purposes.

Right now, as much as possible, I want to accumulate btc, because it may be another trying period for the market. But I do believe that btc will bounce back in the very near future. There were so many ups and downs that we have survived already, and this is just another one of them.
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: GXGBet.com | GXGCoin.io - Leading DeFi Gaming Site Needs You 😎 on: June 20, 2022, 07:56:34 PM
Welcome to the forum, wanted to test out your new site, unfortunately,
-

Not sure if I will have to used VPN or not just to test out your website as I might be in trouble later if I try to withdraw my winnings.

But in any case, will try to monitor the progress of this new online platform and see if it can compete with the more establishes casinos we have right now, so best of luck.
This site also Restricted for my location. i also visited this site by using vpn. It was great to look at and its UI was great. But I think it's better not to deposit here. Because since it is restricted for our location. Later, it may get stuck in our withdrawal for pass kyc or any other reason.

Seems that a lot are having trouble checking this site because of restrictions. But can the team remove such restrictions in some countries, because I believe they got a lot in the list? Whereas, there are other casinos here that do have curacao license and yet they are accepting the players. Most of them just set the max deposit or withdrawal to $2000. Because if there are a lot of countries prohibited, then, I believe that's one factor that may limit their opportunities to get new players.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IEO: $Kii | Launch on LATOKEN | Identity Utility Token on: June 20, 2022, 07:25:04 PM
Are you part of their team? Or just asked to post their project in this forum? Do you really think people will send their information in exchange of certain payment? There may be people who don't care about such private data to be submitted in a platform like this. But in the long run, do you think the project can survive and implement their objectives? Because I have the feeling that this won't last, so lucky for them if they can collect a lot of data from their customers.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where will Bitcoin stabalize?? on: June 19, 2022, 11:43:39 PM
I think it will be stabilized after June. This month has historical data about the dumping situation.
Every year in June we will see such kind of drama, panic selling will be increased a lot in June and December.
(...)
With this very huge drop, this given time seems very early to hope Bitcoin will become stabilized and the drop will stop.
Another thing about this is my last hope; the bitcoin block halving, which we saw in the past every time the bitcoin block halving is fast approaching, the price is starting to rise or and I can consider a bull run is starting.

In all honesty, no one can tell when will bitcoin will stabilize. We are all just mere observers in this market and we are just reacting whatever the market will behave. Even if there are news and other developments surrounding crypto, up until now, we can't pinpoint the major contributors on how will the market perform. Some news may influence the market but still no one can precisely predict what will happen to this market, even for the next 24 hours or so.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 19, 2022, 09:29:18 PM
In my opinion, Javier Fortuna is the hardest fighter Ryan Garcia will fight, from Fortuna's 43 right now that is an experience that is surely legit, and just the minimum number of losses, of only 3, 2 No contest, and 1 draw, I think that is the experience of Fortuna that Garcia would need to look out for, but I have seen Ryan Garcia's strength from that skinny boy's body he can sure hit like a truck and that speed and technicality in him 18 Knockout, in 22 fights with no losses, is a great record, for a young guy, and I am pretty much impressed in his feat,
This reminds me of the Garcia's previous fight against Emmanuel Tagoe who're experienced with 33 fight with only 1 lose, but after the fight... all we can see is Emmanuel Tagoe is just running away and avoid to punch Garcia. Even Tagoe is unknown fighter, but there's some replay of his old fights that show he can box. I'm sure they have an agreement to make easy win for Garcia and I think Fortuna will so same.

Garcia claiming his next fight will be against Tank, if this will come true and let's say Garcia win, then he's deserve it since Tank isn't a dumb fighter who only looking for money.

Might be mate but we can't know for sure Grin Just give Javier the benefit of the doubt as he's more of a professional fighter unlike Tagoe who's just a local boxer from his country and suddenly got exposure when he was cherry-picked to fight Oscar's Golden Boy as an interim. I agree with @YuginKadoya, Javier might be the boxer who could push the kid and bring him back on track, Garcia just needs a wake up call from his inactivity which Tagoe cannot give.

When he fought Tagoe, it was like a mismatch. So I don't know if Tagoe couldn't really fight Garcia in a toe-to-toe scenario or there was a prior arrangement. That for sure, we won't know. But with Javier, I hope he will give him a lesson. Much better if he can beat Garcia so Golden Boy promotions will see what they are grooming here. So yes, for me, Javier is not the same caliber with Tagoe. I am hoping he will give a much better fight inside the ring.
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase is absolute shit. on: June 19, 2022, 08:00:02 PM
It's been a while since I read that word "Bittrex", I'm surprised that anyone still uses Bittrex, I assume OP has used Bittrex this year. I don't use coinbase because it doesn't work in my country, but I think coinbase is better than Bittrex, and when you noticed this inconvenience in coinbase why didn't you create a binance account? because it seems to me that you want to be day trading so it makes more sense to use binance because of the high volume they have

We have the same thoughts here.  Grin I feel that not many users in the forum are still using bittrex. When they started asking KYC, I stopped using bittrex. But then, binance started asking KYC at all levels, so a lot have no choice but to comply. In my case, I feel more confident submitting my KYC to binance as I am a regular user of their services. But bittrex, I have this feeling that they can go down anytime. But that's just my feeling. When it comes to coinbase, I really haven't tried this exchange. Maybe, the OP should try binance or binance.US if he is in the US.
