21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC approve BITCOIN ETF ? on: November 14, 2018, 04:51:10 AM
Smiley Smiley Smiley
If Sec accept Bitcoin ETF , we can expect the huge bull run for the market .
What do you think ? Will Sec accept bitcoin ETF ?

Maybe they would eventually approve it but we don't know for sure when would that happen. There are still so many speculation as to how bitcoin and other altcoin should be treated that's why the stance of SEC when it comes to ETF is still doubtful. Regarding the huge bull run, it may happen when there is an announcement of its approval but I would rather see the price slowly go up than a pump because if its the case then there would a dump afterwards which is not an organic growth.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: ADVANTAGES OF INVESTMENT USING BITCOIN on: November 14, 2018, 04:45:03 AM
Well, Bitcoin, like any other investments Carry risks. You can have your pulse on the trend of the market and still lose. I know that crypto currency is fairly new and every one is on Hype about investing in it but it is not that easy. It's so volatile now more than ever so i suggest you to be careful and really keep your ear to the ground to win big.

All investment has inherent risk because you cannot be sure that you will get back your investment or have profits with your investment in the future. The advantage of using bitcoin as an investment is that you can use it as well as a currency which is its actual use case so if ever you have profits then you can just use it immediately for payment unlike any other investment in which you would need to sell it first like if you are investing in real estate so that you can use the money for other purpose.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that any altcoin is worth investing in? on: November 13, 2018, 05:06:00 AM
I see investment as a stable low risk term. I love block chain technology and think that if implimented properly could produce a great efficiency gains and cost reduction. Even with my bias to the technology and my liking of private transactions, all altcoins are illiquid and unstable. They would be better speculation tools, but their lack of liquidity means that when the bubble bursts you could be very rich or very poor.

I like to think that investment as separate from speculation so no I don't currently see any altcoin as an investment opportunity.

I do see altcoin as an investment opportunity but not for the new projects because we have yet to see if the team would be able to carry out what they have promise in their whitepapers while I may be willing to invest in the coins that have been existing for years because we can already see their developments and their project may already be complete and we can see the demand then if the people would use it for its actual use case or just for speculation purposes.

However, there are still new projects that are worth looking at and you will be lucky if you would be able to purchase it during ICO when the price is still cheap. Of course, you still have the option to purchase it when it is already listed in exchanges.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet... on: November 13, 2018, 04:54:48 AM
Well that ETF thing from the SEC is not coming for sure ,so theres a bad implication about the expectation and yes we are all waiting for the growth this last quarter but we can really see the truth is not happening .check the market movements and you will find there is no indication that we can feel and taste the pumping season again.

Yeah, it's disappointing to see that the market is not doing good nowadays and so the crypto enthusiasts are not feeling enthusiastic because as the price goes up, it would just come back down again much lower than it has before making the investors think twice if they want to add up to their investments or would just pull out what they have because it seems like there is no indication of an impending pump. However, I still believe that the crypto party would be back sooner or later and we just have to have patience for it to happen.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do i know Which Coin Suddenly Pump? on: November 12, 2018, 04:52:55 AM
I see Gainer & Looser every day in Coinmarketcap. I always try to know, which coin will Suddenly pump? I've read a few article, But I can not understand it easily. Many people say learn Fundamental analysis. If you have knowledge about this topic. Feel free, You can share your skills & knowledge with everyone.

You cannot exactly know when a coin would pump because if there is a formula for it then many people would be rich by now. You may search for some hints though or signs that there is an impending pump for a coin if the volume is building up for that coin and there's an incoming significant event then maybe sooner or later it will pump.

If the buy volume for a certain coin is higher than its average then there is a possibility of a pump. You just have to observe the normal movement of a coin and if there are some changes when it comes to volume then there is a probability that sooner or later, it will have a significant change in price. You can use technical analysis as well for anticipating a pump like a break-out perhaps.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: 10th Birthday, Bitcoin Price Is No Longer Exciting ? on: November 12, 2018, 04:47:06 AM
However, the company calculates that 70% of the current projects have fallen from the price when the ICO was completed. Maybe this is what affects the difficulty of increasing the price of bitcoin on its 10th birthday because the average "ico will decrease by 50% after launching

Due to the bear market, people or shall I say, investors are somewhat discourage with what is happening in the price that's why some take a break and just find other investment opportunities waiting for the time when it seems like the bulls are back while others did leave the crypto market totally thinking that the exciting times are done. Well, if you are a risk taker then maybe you can just wait patiently and think of the advantages of having a stable price wherein those merchants might think of adopting it finally causing a mass adoption slowly.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For those, who wait BTC to "skyrocket" again. on: November 12, 2018, 04:30:06 AM
Bitcoin has stuck in place for $ 6000 for a long time. This is a sad time when investors and Bitcoin traders do not know where to trade. Therefore, the boom of Bitcoin again is what everyone wants.

When it comes to investors, maybe they are frustrated as to when the price would skyrocket again while those bitcoin traders has the option to either trade in this market or they would just wait for the market to get better. There is still a lot of opportunities when it comes to the market because there is still a fluctuation and this is where the traders would come in. It depends on your strategy then on how you can profit from this kind of market.

29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to choose a good project for investment? on: November 11, 2018, 03:32:02 AM
Choosing an ICO project is a really hard thing on these days. Because there are too many scam projects and most top rated ICOs not giving good profit. The ICO return on investment really depends on market condition. I have seen top-rated ICOs has not given good profit recently. There is a number of type scams with ICOs. Then be careful to choose a good ICO project.

It would depend on the market condition because some investors are taking a break not investing in projects because the market is not doing good in this bear market so they would rather wait for the time when the bulls come back so that they can easily get their profit in a short amount of time. You cannot entirely depend on the reputable ICO sited because some of them are just paid to promote the ICO so you should do your due diligence in choosing a good investment.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit a trillion dollar marketcap in the future? on: November 11, 2018, 03:20:03 AM
Yes i believe that is very probable because bitcoin's adaptation rate is increasing almost every month as more and more startups are talking about cryptos and bitcoin. Big companies who already adapted bitcoin can also be a good example for others to follow.

It may not look like bitcoin is getting a traction in the crypto market but then behind the scenes, some companies are slowly getting engage and adopting cryptocurrency because they can see that it would be valuable in the future. It would be better if they would engage when it is not that hot topic because by the time the price gets better then they would be celebrating with us and those that are just buying would have a little profit. A trillion dollar is possible because why not? Bitcoin always surprise us.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: November 11, 2018, 03:14:40 AM
Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!

You should choose an altcoin that has a higher volume or those who have been existing for a time and have proven that they can still recover after a bear market because most of them won't be able too especially those that have been existing on the market for trading only and the projects behind has not been continued because the team abandoned it or it is just a pure scam. I would prefer those coins that has an active team and the development still continues.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Price stability on: November 10, 2018, 05:04:01 AM
I'm not even sure whether this is a bad or a good thing right now but this is definitely unusual and I have never seen it before even though I have been in the crypto scene since 2014.

From what I can see the development (Lightning network etc.) is more active than it ever was, so shouldn't that give a little boost to the price at least?

When the price seems like heading up, after a few days it would go down again that's why investors are frustrated because of the price stability. As for the traders, it is a good opportunity to trade because even if the price goes up and down, there is still volatility which makes it a good opportunity to trade for short term. Others are now thinking of knowing how to trade because while traders are happy about the price, investors are patiently or impatiently waiting.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Late to Invest in Cryptocurrencies? on: November 10, 2018, 05:00:23 AM
It's not too late to invest in crypto currencies because crypto currencies will continue to grow in the future and expand along with the times and technology so in my opinion it's not too late

There is still so many opportunities in cryptocurrency because even if it has been existing for almost a decade now, there are still so many things to be developed since it is still considered to be a market in its infancy compared to other markets like foreign exchange and stocks. Its scope is not that wide yet that's why there is a possibility that it would continue to grow and as long as there are people who are willing to use the coin for its transactions then its a good investment opportunity.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts coin vs BTC on: November 09, 2018, 01:48:10 PM
I want to know that which will be more profitable in future BTC or alts? Though i am a die heart fan of BTC but for now i think alts will be more profitable than BTC. So what's your opinion? Comment please.

Both can be profitable depending on the movement if the coin and as to how much you would put as capital into the coin. When you are a short-term trader then it may be better for you to choose altcoin because it has a fast movement compared to bitcoin since most of the time, it has a low volume so it has more price volatility than bitcoin bu then be careful with pump and dump because you may end up catching the dump so you would incur much loss and it is riskier to trade an altcoin especially if it has low volume because it may not have any demand in the future.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high do you think or hope bitcoin price to go up next year? on: November 08, 2018, 05:03:56 AM
This year, 2018, the price of bitcoin has been consistently playing around $6000-$7000, but it is expected to rise by the end of the year. It is almost the end of the year. If the price did not move up by the end of the year, how much do you think and/or hope the price of bitcoin to change next year? Can we expect a huge bump or do we have to prepare ourselves for an even lower dip? What do you think?

I think price would be higher than what it is now and it can even reach maybe a new all time high. It has been a long eleven months wherein people are waiting for the price to recover and maybe aim for a new ATH but then so far, it is not happening. Since market is a cycle and we are in a bear market, bull market would eventually come and I believe that a new all time high would be reach then. Maybe a $50,000 a bitcoin price would be achievable since it will be fueled by the old and new investors.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: November 08, 2018, 05:00:41 AM
Cryptocurrency is just one of the products of blockchain technology. There may be many of them. Therefore, the blockchain technology, as a broader concept, may well exist without cryptocurrency.
Blockchain technology can be used wherever large databases need to be stored in open access mode while maintaining a high degree of security. In the Internet system, this opens up unlimited possibilities, since it allows you to cover certain types of activities at once across the globe.

Yes, that's the beauty of this technology because it lets you have limitless possibilities because it can have a wider scope in a trustless system. Unlike in the technology that we have nowadays that is mostly centralized wherein there is a limit as to who can access it and then those who handle the system can freely do to whatever information is there in the system since they are the authority while in blockchain technology, it needs a permit to more than half of all the people who has access to it which makes it next to impossible of being hacked.

As for the usage of blockchain technology without cryptocurrency, yes it is possible because it can exist without the other while cryptocurrency cannot exist without blockchain technology.
37  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-06] Posing as Elon Musk, hacker nets about $180,000 worth of bitcoin on: November 07, 2018, 04:42:10 AM
I don't know why some people are stupid enough to fall victims of such crypto scams. the majority of bitcoin giveaways are scams. by the way, why would anyone you his bitcoin for free? If you are not wise enough to hold your bitcoin carefully then you'll fall a victim of such scams. People should ask themselves before sending their bitcoin to anyone, why would that person give you his bitcoin for free? is he Mr. Nakamoto or what?

Well, he is a famous and rich person and we know that there are times when they choose to give something for promotional purposes or they just want to give something to people and for those who are new to crypto world seeing the price currently, they would be convinced that they can get something out of it. When I am just new to cryptocurrency, I easily believe this kind of giveaway that's why I got scammed before.

Of course, I regret that I easily believe it but then I learned my lesson and  try to help others who are just blindly believing this kind of stuff by warning them.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too difficult to understand? on: November 07, 2018, 04:36:57 AM
Taking into account that we now live in a technology driven world with most people being familiar I do not think its too hard to get your head around.

I think the one who are having a hard time understanding it would be those generation ahead of millennials because they aren't that much familiar with the internet and some even do not attempt how to use a computer. As for those younger generations, most likely they can relate because cryptocurrencies are just like in the games wherein one would have a coin, token or whatever to do some transactions and people are familiar with it. For those who aren't that engage in technology then they would be the one having a hard time understanding it.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 07, 2018, 04:30:43 AM
Cryptocurrency is not yet 100% legalized in many countries, but are you psychologically ready to use it every day? Are you ready to get paid in the crypto? In your opinion, when will the dollar era end, and we will be able to fully use the cryptocurrency on a daily basis?

Thanks for the replies.

It's no problem for me as long as I can use it smoothly. Maybe in that point, all merchants already accepted cryptocurrency as one of their payment options considering that fiat would still be use during that time. I have no rpoblem as whatever kind of mode of payment I am using and I believe that when cryptocurrencies would be used then it would be easier to trace the transactions. In that way, it would be easier for me to trace what are the expenses I have incurred since I can trace where my money went.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: November 06, 2018, 05:06:28 AM
Be careful if you choose a long-term investment with the altcoin because you need to choose the right altcoin to buy so you can make a big profit in the future. Right now, there are too many altcoins that could be potential to rise in the future, and if you can buy at the low price, you will get much amount of the altcoin, and you can make a big profit too.

It is already a given that when you decide to invest on something, you should know already what kind of investment is that because if there are some events that may affect the price of that altcoin then you can act fast. If you want to invest in a coin for the long term, it would be a good idea to take profit from time to time so that when the market is not doing good then you can adjust your holdings by either accumulating more if you have extra funds or selling it earlier and maybe incur a little loss and then buy back later on when it has a cheaper price.

Investing in a coin for the long term is too risky for me because coins are unpredictable and price is very volatile that's why as much as possible when you have the chance to take profit then you should grab it.
