21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of people in this section do not understand basic gambling concepts. on: May 25, 2024, 08:03:59 PM
I'm very sure that no player is privileged enough to surpass the house edge set by the casinos. No matter if that person reaches highest VIP status, the house edge will still be there and it won't be easy for him/her to overcome the losses that happen because of the house edge.

Casinos make money because of the house edge that they set and if they drop it to 0.5% or below than that then most players will have consistent wins and I'm 100% sure that if something like that happens then all casinos will be bankrupt and they will have nothing in their bankroll to pay the winners.
22  Economy / Services / Re: [Need] Someone experienced with Facebook ads on: May 25, 2024, 06:03:13 PM
You should change some of the settings, just like Joel_Jantsen said, you may try to change the target audience settings to see if it works or not. The targeted audience you have selected in the setting might be very narrow in number and that could be the reason why the ads might not be reaching the eye of the audience.

Try to remove targeted audience filters and see if it works or not, and after removing those filters it still doesn't work then there might be another issue, but I believe it will work once you remove the targeted audience filter. If it still doesn't work then you may contact Facebook support team so they could sort out the issue.
23  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum getting worse and worse? on: May 24, 2024, 04:09:34 PM
Now, to that, add that we've lost valuable members, some of which were intellectually influential, and you have an Internet board filled with mostly crap. What's the problem?
Yes, we have lost so many valuable members this year, some of them left us because of chronic diseases while others left this forum and world. I remember the times when Leo was a great part of this forum but now I hope where ever he is, he should be in good health. And, we also lost members like Light Warrior who used to be quite good at finding scammers and spammers.

The mixer ban has also contributed adversely to the current state of the forum and we all know what happened after that ban. Now, the privacy related services are facing tough times and that's also inversely affecting the forum and its members. I believe we still have some good and valuable members who are still active on this forum and who actively contribute good stuff here. But, not sure what the future holds for us.

25  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Heisenberg63 is lyer/scammer on: May 24, 2024, 03:42:57 PM
Dealt with him before with a bigger amounts
That's quite strange thing to hear, he didn't scam you before but he did it this time. It's quite unfortunate to have such people on this forum who make their reputation to their clients and out of nowhere they turn into scammers. Sorry for your loss, I hope others will be careful after reading your this thread and they may never purchase any goods from that person again.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Foolhardy bets. on: May 24, 2024, 02:01:09 PM
I believe it is ultimately useless to chase the big jackpot. Yes, if you win, its fine.
Yes, I highly agree with you, it's just waste of ones time and money to chase big jackpots. I know some of us can be very lucky and might win such jackpots in our lives but such type of winning requires a lot of luck and money. I believe instead of chasing those jackpots one should do his/her research well and place bets on sports events which could be profitable if research is good.
27  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Heisenberg63 is lyer/scammer on: May 24, 2024, 01:55:58 PM
I knew that guy for a year and dealt with him many times, so this is why
Have you ever dealt with him with such amount or previously deals were of small amounts? I think it was your own mistake to trust someone with such huge amount of money.

Instead of sending him that amount you could divide it into many deals so the loss could be somehow less than what you have lost currently.

I think something should be done against such scammers. A thread/megathread should be created for such scammers if there isn't one already and upon successful reports such members might get punished.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 24, 2024, 01:51:31 PM
Everyone is lucky, maybe not yet your turn.
I agree everyone is lucky but some people are more lucky than the others and that's why the ones who win such jackpots are those who are quite lucky.

Everyone's luck works in different areas, some people get lucky in casino games while others get lucky in sports betting.

Personally, my luck works well in sports betting and that's why I prefer it over other types of betting, but if someone's luck works well in casino games than he/she should prefer those instead of sports betting.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supply shock will come, price will make new ATH on: May 24, 2024, 01:46:47 PM
Bitcoin will surely reach a new ATH this year which will break its current ATH, and there's chance that Bitcoin may break that new ATH once again when buying pressure gets intense. If we check the history then we can understand that we are still away from the months where Bitcoin performed its best in previous bull runs.

I firmly believe that within 1 and half years we may see Bitcoin reaching way higher values than most speculations and if that happens then the ones who bought it when it was still below $60k would surely have some good profits, and the ones who accumulated Bitcoin with DCA+DIP buying strategy should have much higher profits within those 1 and half years.
30  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this guy allowed to constantly break the rules? on: May 24, 2024, 01:38:31 PM
I have also observed the threads of that guy and most of those seemed more like a scam attempt to me rather than a way to generate wealth. Yesterday I replied to one of his threads where he was opposing sports betting in order to promote his unlimited money generator, and in clear words I took side of sports betting because that's the type of betting I prefer myself.

If I'm not wrong, then the topics of this member have polluted the gambling board and I believe if those are against the rules of the forum as OP asked then those should be deleted by moderators in order to stop such intense type of spamming in order to promote a platform which might not work for anyone and the ones who may get trapped by his words might end up losing their funds.
31  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice report record here on: May 23, 2024, 05:47:09 PM
My reported posts are still under 100, but now I should try to find more posts that I might report and get the number higher.

Most of the posts I have reported were AI generated content or the ones with clear signs of scamming others. It's nice to see that there are members who have reported so many posts and have good accuracy.

I'll definitely share my report record when I reach a report value that's greater than 100 or maybe 1000, and I believe this is going to be a great thread to share such records.

It would be great to see the number of reported posts of the staff members and moderators so we can see that how many posts they have reported.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please stop gambling but instead use UMG so you can Gamble + Profit at same time on: May 23, 2024, 05:34:55 PM
There's nothing like unlimited money generation in online gambling, it's your own luck which allows you to win or lose, and in most cases such phrases are used to trap others.

I prefer sports betting because that's where my skills and understanding has helped to to gain some profits. I know that even in sports betting one can only win with skills if his or her luck is good.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 22, 2024, 07:27:54 PM
I just want to know, How have jackpot stories affected your gambling routine?
Those jackpot stories haven't impacted my gambling routine even a little bit. I believe those stories are the stories of those players who are extremely lucky and I believe I'm not extremely lucky. I won't say that I'm not lucky but I believe I'm not extremely lucky and that's why I don't let such stories impact my gambling routine.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 22, 2024, 07:23:59 PM
The poker games were available before but only for the dot US site, but on the dot com is new, from what i know it wasn't there the past week.
Yes, the Poker wasn't available on Stake when I visited it a few weeks ago but now they're adding it then it's surely going to be a great place for the ones who love Poker games. I'm personally a fan of poker games and surely I will soon give it a try.

I believe soon they will add the cash based poker tables so we can enjoy poker with other players who also enjoy spending time on poker games. I believe that in poker games luck and strategy both matter, and that's why I believe such games will be beneficial for many players.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this my secret phrase or seed. on: May 22, 2024, 06:41:23 PM
I sincerely hope that most people don't do this as it is a terrible move to save your mnemonic recovery words (seed phrase) on your usually online daily internet device. Nothing hinders malware to search your entire device for such recovery words, once your device becomes infected.
I also hope that but in real most people do that because they don't care much about their safety as they believe that they are safe as long as they don't install unwanted software. You're right that nothing can stop a malware when it enters someone's device and those who safe their seed phrases as text files or images could end up losing their holding because of their own unawareness.

But, it's quite hard to promote awareness at that level in crypto world. I know those people who are part of this forum are much knowledgeable about privacy and safety of their crypto holdings but the ones who aren't part of this forum or who heard about crypto from their friends, always do something like that.

There are also those people who newly enter the crypto market and who doesn't understand the importance of seed phrases, and private keys, and in hurry they end up not saving those seed phrases and private keys.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have some old BTC wallet from 2013 on: May 22, 2024, 06:35:05 PM
First of all, I'm sorry for loss of your friend. It's really hard to forget the ones whom we lost in that Covid 19 times but at least we could wish best for their next life. The wallet file from 2013 could contain some Bitcoin in it and who knows your friend might be someone who believed in the concept of HODL.

I suggest you to look for all folders of his hard drives, SSD's, and also look for all hidden folders. Then you may manually check each text file, image file, video file, and audio file to see if you can find any clue about the seed phrase or private keys. I know it can be a time consuming task but if you do it with pure heart then you may get success.

If you don't find anything in those folders and files then you may try to use some recovery software and a safe external hard drive or SSD to recover all lost files that were deleted. There's chance that you may find some clue in those recovered files.

You may also try to check his browser history, saved passwords, and each possible crypto exchange which he might have visited when he was alive. Some people prefer to keep their Bitcoin at exchanges, I personally don't recommend that approach but still there are some people who do that.

After going through all of those procedures you might get some clue about the wallet but there's possibility that you may not find any clue. You may try your best and then post in this thread to let us know the results.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read Well and also think we'll before you respond to post. on: May 22, 2024, 06:20:13 PM
Have anyone noticed that the reason why some persons post go off the topic is because they don't read the entire op writing before they reply to a thread, some persons respond to a thread based on the caution of the topic and that is why we meet up different opinions or suggestions that is not in lines what the OP points of view.
I would like to remind you that there can be posts which aren't related to OP but aren't off topic either. Sometime when you find someone's reply that contain valuable information or contain irrelevant information then it's not of topic to quote that reply and share your opinions about it.

In some cases it could lead to discussions which could be off topic ones but in most cases all the discussions in a thread a relevant ones. Some of those are direct responses to OP's thread while the rest of those are responses to other posts of the thread.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CEX P2P under Governments Attack, let's Embrace DEX P2P on: May 21, 2024, 08:48:24 PM
So now the new target of the government is centralized p2p exchanges where users can easily convert their crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto.

They are somehow trying to make such conversions harder and I believe they are doing it so crypto users may not be able to convert their crypto to fiat and fiat to crypto.

If decentralized p2p exchanges are working then that's a good sign, but still a question arises that for how long those decentralized exchanges will be safe from the government?

I think if in a country centralized p2p exchanges are under attack then in that country decentralized p2p exchanges are also at very high risk.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A debate between I and a friend who is real a time trader(Physical Trader) on: May 21, 2024, 08:41:07 PM
You do not have to convince anyone about what you’re doing as long as it’s working for you.
That's very true, if you're getting profit from one thing then you don't really have to convince others that how profitable that thing is. Let's say if you're making profits as a crypto trader then you should not convince or have arguments with the ones who think that it's not possible to earn money as a crypto trader.

It's great if you talk with someone who understands you but talking with the ones who don't believe in the things is just waste of your precious time and energy. In similar way, it's not good to talk about Bitcoin in gathering of skeptics who are highly against it and who consider it a scam or Ponzi scheme. It's just waste of time and energy, nothing else.

40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest fight of the year: Terry Crews vs Anderson Silva this June 15 on: May 20, 2024, 04:07:08 PM
This one is going to be a great fight, both of those guys are high level fighters. It's going to be the top level fight because this match isn't against young and energetic fighters but senior fighters who are quite aged but have kept themselves fit.

Anderson Silva is still somehow younger than Terry Crews but when we see the physique then he's no match for Terry. It's really going to be the best fight of this year and I believe that both fighters will do their best to win the match. Let's see who will be the winner of the match.
