If a lot of people would follow OP's advice, a massive amount of BTC would be taken out of circulation, the supply would be lower while the demand would rise thus driving the price upwards for everybody that didn't participate.

Your right the price of bitcoin will just go up if we hold our bitcoins because the demand will rise. Like I said the only way to kill bitcoin is when we stop buying bitcoin.
You guys are bith right, stop buying btc means btc is worthless, therefore btc will doom since no one needs it.
