You can find a list of known escrows in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.

I meant real people. A person (or a group of people, we never know) behind each one of these accounts might be cool, but this is too unconventional for us; it that case this is us, in our turn, who'd need someone to once again guarantee the safety of funds once keyed out to these legendary btt shadows.

Very interesting, you can make money just by browsing the net,I have been  to two of this kind of program before but not on a crypto currency, this is could be the first in the crypto currency industry,we are looking forward to it's launching.

"Mass" is not the first project that intends to make users paid in one way or another. Neither it is unique in this sense within the crypto industry segment.

The power of Mass Network lies elsewhere:

(1) Most money in the Internet are in ads business. Maybe 80%, maybe even 90%.
(2) The online ad industry is extremely complex and almost impossible to enter (on any serious scale).
(3) Mass Network found a roundabout; it will join the lucrative business segment without having to pay all sorts of entry barrier tolls.

Thanks a lot for this answer-storming! Smiley It was good to have people reassured here.
You know I am one of your oldest believers (as my non-official and not-for-money signature proves Smiley ), but I have one important question / concern related to this part of the "Terms" you cited below:

Every ICO Participant will receive [1,000,000,000,000 × (i ÷ I) × 0.7] coins; Mass will receive [1,000,000,000,000 × 0.3] coins altogether.
In this formula, “i” is the total amount of all deposits made to one individual account, “I” is the total amount of deposits made by all ICO participants, “[ ]” means the integer part function, “×” means arithmetical product, “÷” means arithmetical division.

The current value of "I" can be found here: https://ico.mass.network/#/

What about the early bird bonuses, being offered at the beginning? There is nothing said about them above, I hope they will be honored, but why they are not mentioned in "Terms"?

We will make the addition/update to the Terms describing the entire discount/bonus schedule. There were at least four different periods. Yeah, it's kind of hard to keep the track for an outside observer now.
Are there rewards now?

Not at the moment.

Agree. In a general case. That' be true for a project in an infant stage. But for us, approaching new any respectable person with the request to hold funds and make sure we're not thieves would look ridiculous. That alone would downgrade us. We do have the product (well, part of it); we are represented by people with certain history; our project does make sense (becomes obvious for whoever takes the job of reading the blue paper). Why would we need anyone to tell we're good enough instead of ourselves?

I do not question the validity of the project nor the fact that you are good enough or not. You are holding an ICO, there has been so many scams (even with escrows) that some people are now afraid to invest in anything. An independent reputable escrow might offer some kind of safety to some investors, why would you consider it downgrading?

Having it wouldn't be downgrading, of course. Trying to get one - will. Asking for such stuff certainly downgrades you in the eyes of your colleagues in a broader industry sense.

You know what, offer someone who is good enough. And who's ok with that. We'll consider that person as an escrow holder. Seriously.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 16, 2016, 03:15:22 PM
There's no need for an escrow. Highly prominent people lead the project.

As far as I am concerned, prominent or not, a reputable escrow should be a no-brainer for anyone asking people for money. Not only this shows the good faith of the asker but also establishes some level of trust. Of course risk is always present and having an escrow doesn't mean risk-free, yet, I think having one is better than not having one.

Please come down, gentlemen.

That information vacuum created anxiety and uncertainty.
And now I'm glad that you came here and answer all those questions. Now I am calm Smiley. Thank you.

Sure. Thank you.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM ?] Mass Network - devs, where are you? on: November 16, 2016, 12:30:30 PM
SEO of Mass Network - one of two escrow of Mass Network.
Is that normal?

You're right. It is not normal for projects with such well-known people to even have an escrow feature in the first place. We removed it.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM ?] Mass Network - devs, where are you? on: November 16, 2016, 12:28:51 PM
Facts
After the change of project management they ceased to answer first in Russian and then in English threads on bitcointalk. They promised that the purchase ($ 1.1 million) "has no effect on Mass Coin distribution whatsoever". But this is no longer true.
I tried to contact the developers through their message-form on the site, but I did not receive any response.
Also they restart the old signature campaign. Previously involved were irrelevant.
Thoughts
Mr. Kuzmin paid 1.1 million for Mass and the project will get 30% of coins after the ICO (ICO conditions), but all ICO-investors have paid about 160 thousand for now (220 BTC) and they should get 70% of coins. Fairly?
What's going on?
I know, Mycelium (Mr. Kuzmin) well known project; for him, it seems, are respected people. But what is happening now with the Mass Network is unacceptable. I wanted to add a bit of money to invested in earlier, but now I'm afraid of losing previously made contribution.
If there is a team member of Mass Network on the forum, then give an answer, what happens to the ICO now and why do not answer the questions of users / investors?

This is a huge misunderstanding.

Appcoins can be of two kinds:

(1) Type 1. Like in "theDAO". Or "Iconomi". Token there ARE equities.
(2) Type 2. Like in Bitcoin. Or Steemit. Token ARE NOT equities. They are  an app TOOL.

MASS IS A SECOND TYPE.

So, when you own, say, 1BTC. And suddenly someone buys a share in a development team (Core or BU).

Are you going to ask questions about the bitcoin price change connected to that event? Even if you do ask questions, will you claim any rights basing on the fact that you own some bitcoins? Probably not, right? Same here.

Quote
Mass Network on Monday announced it has entered into a definitive agreement under which Alexander Kuzmin, CEO of Mycelium, will acquire Mass Network in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.1 million. Alexander Kuzmin will also become the CEO of Mass. Mass Network and its development team will retain its distinct process, culture, and goals. The transaction is expected to close this calendar year.

interesting news. will waves also be accepted in ICO?

is there info available about escrow?

No, BTC only.

There's no need for an escrow. Highly prominent people lead the project.

Can anyone prove mycellium really aquired mass? Mycellium wallet is a good one, Im using it for years without any problems.

Yes. If you still don't trust write to info@mycelium.com or ao@mycelium.com

Be careful! Mass Network project is likely to SCAM.

it's not.

We will address issues in that thread if there's anything substantial there.

did that kuzmin admit the aquisition? I think that could be a scam, but this mycelium is also a scam? They ico a half year ago, but still not release, what a joke

I found out about it from here (Forklog) and here (Mass Network blog)

What will happen if Mass will not receive enough money to creating a project?

It is already almost created

Hi everybody,

Could you tell me how much mass coin we get with 1 bitcoin?

Thank you Smiley

When we will can see our Mass coins estimated value?

After ico, there are 7 weeks remain, so stay tuned.

In ICONOMI's ICO I was able to see my estimated tokens quantity.

Actually, this is a good idea just to divide the coins out publicly, dynamically.  The only bad thing is that gives away the number of investors involved.

ICONOMI sold SHARES (equity). That's completely different story. Nothing in common. Of course, they should have shown the estimation since they were selling voting rights. In Mass Network case it is just a specific currency with the purpose, like in Bitcoin. Makes no sense to provide such estmations.

Please come down, gentlemen. How in the world can Mycelium be scam?! They have several ready products running for years. It is a donation to society what they do, not scam. That would be very silly to run scams like that. Very poor negative profit margin.

Concerning Kuzmin's assignment. There's his letter on our website. There's a number of publications in independent media (you can google that). I mean, what else do we have to do to confirm?! Would that look silly if we undertake some special efforts, say, by recording a video: "Mr. Kuzmin, please say that you're with us, please say!". Come on folks, what are you talking about
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 16, 2016, 11:52:03 AM
Hello! How tokens will be issued now ? Previously it was assumed that 70% share in proportion to deposits. Something has changed?
Because ISO collected $ 130K for now, but the platform bought for $ 1.1kk.
70% of tokens will be distributed only among ISO members? Or 1.1kk $ too can now be considered  as a contribution to ISO?

I'm still waiting for a reply from the developers. Or this project SCAM?
