21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should winning bettors sell subscriptions? on: September 23, 2024, 12:06:45 PM
I watch several influencers on Telegram. Each of them claims to be a winning player over a long distance. But not all of them provide statistics on winnings. Not all of them can show statistics on the verifier either. And most importantly, many sell a variety of things:
Influencers are good in manipulation; if they are selling subscriptions, they have to show something and they better be their own betting strategy and now someone else, if they cannot offer  at least a one week trial test their forecasts and strategy then better ignore their-services.

I don't know if it's very similar to what they offer in trading; if they can make a lot of profit on their system, why not keep it on their own and just continue using their system to make profit.

I'm ok with free signals and forecasts, but I have not tried paid subscriptions because I am making good predictions on the sports I'm betting.

22  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Bitcoin Lottery - scam or legit? on: September 23, 2024, 10:10:30 AM
Hi. I found something like this:

https://www.bitcoclub.com/

They offer 2 BTC to win. It's already deposited on the address you pay for the tickets. Do you think it is legit?

If you offer this huge amount of money, you need to be as transparent as possible, and you need a third party escrow to establish trust and transparency, Based on their Whois the platform is just five months old, and there's little information about the site on the internet .

Anyone can create a platform like this because the script will not cost you a lot I think they even use a free template on https://styleshout.com/free-templates/, now that's questionable. If you have the template's owner on your blog, than that means you are using a free template.

I'm not saying this is a scam but its more likely that they are going to, in case someone hit the jackpot, they can easily pull out the plug because there's no way to know how's running this platform.
23  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Trade NOW using MyCoinChange on: September 22, 2024, 10:11:36 PM
Now you're talking business, Now that the flag is down, why not run a signature campaign here, its a lot of work to get up and be competitive again, being flagged by metamask is bad for business.

Its not that the signature campaign will get you a lot of leads, but something that will have a recall of your brand in the community, and that's a good start in reviving your business.

I also recommend that you lock this thread, create a new one with a well designed announcement, You can hire a designer in the service section, that will be a  fresh start for your exchange.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toncoin's Surging Popularity and Growing Network on: September 22, 2024, 04:10:45 PM
Toncoin (TON) has surged over 200% this year, becoming the fifth-most valuable Layer 1 network with a market cap of $14.371 billion. Initially developed by the Telegram team and launched in 2019, TON was transferred to independent developers in 2020 due to SEC regulations. The TON Chain has evolved into a rich ecosystem, fostering internet freedom and utility, with recent collaborations like Curve Finance highlighting its growth
Ton was out of my radar until these Telegram Mini Applications, started by Notcoin, sustained by Dogs and now continuing by the many new Telegram Mini Applications like Hamster, RockyRabbit and many more to mention until it became the trending concept in the industry, so many got hooked because these Telegram Mini Application are doing these through airdrops, and with this concept it generate millions of active participant.
Usability is very important for a coin to get the attention of the community, and with this new Trend Ton is now on the spotlight.

Quote
The ecosystem has seen a 12x increase in daily transaction volume over the past year, with TVL rising to $350 million, driven by DEX trading. This has made many exchanges like integrating the network into their ecosystem and encouraging lots of users to explore more of the network by way of giveaways.
Not only DEXs but also CEXs have you seen Binance Moonbix and Xkucoin from Kucoin they have their own version of Telegram Mini Application so yes, Telegram and Ton is the trending concept now, and we never know how long will this last
25  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can exchanges evolve better? on: September 22, 2024, 03:48:39 PM
Exchanges like Bitget and Okx have also emerged, focusing on asset safety with MPC wallets and protection funds. Strategic partnerships, like with TON, have also helped them grow their user base and revenue too. So, 6 years down the lane on some of these exchanges (my personal journey though), I'm still wondering if these exchanges could go "shoulder-to-shoulder" with Binance! What do you think they should do better?

I think they can; all they have to do is not go through what CZ did, massive marketing and enhancing and introducing new features are the key for them to compete against Binance.

Binance has established themselves as a go-to exchange for every new trader; Bitget and OKX can do that by guaranteeing the safety of the funds of their clients in whatever happens to their exchange, and of course proper coordination with the regulators is important to avoid getting in the radar of the regulators.

Centralized exchange is a multi billion dollar industry. Every exchange should be competitive enough for them to have a share of the market, I think OKX has a good chance to compete with Binance, they need to introduce something new.
26  Economy / Services / Re: [Survey] Bitcoin Lottery Concept – Win by Mining! on: September 22, 2024, 02:58:00 PM
Hello,

I’m working on an exciting new concept where you can buy a "lottery ticket" that gives you real Bitcoin mining power for a limited time ⛏️. Instead of winning a traditional lottery, you’ll have a chance to solve a Bitcoin block and win the block reward!

Why I Need Your Help:
I want to know if this idea is something the community would actually be interested in. If you’ve got a couple of minutes, please take my short survey! Your feedback could help shape the next big thing in Bitcoin gambling.

I participated on your survey since you can submit as being anonymous, I can't recall the year, but we had something like this before that is something and somewhat similar.

Since this also deals with mining, you should also ask traders and miners to widen your target audience, Since you will eventually launch your project here in Bitcointalk, I advise you that you upgrade your account to Copper so you can post images to easily communicate how your concept work for the benefit of people who finds your concept new in their ears.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is hamster gonna make it? on: September 22, 2024, 01:44:01 PM
will make it! believe me! It's too popular to disappoint, obviously you won't become a millionaire but I think it will pay very well

I think Hamster will not make it.

That's true, Hamster won't make airdrop participants millionaires. But it won't pay them well after they wasted years to farm it. Most them got less than 1k Hamster tokens. With a 100B supply, it will pay them less than 10 bucks for years of farming based on the OKX's rate below.

I just received my airdrop, and its not worth bragging. I only received a little over 1k and with over billions of supply it will not be worth the 0.5 TON I paid, so its a lesson learned for me, and I'm sure all the others too.
I don't think I will take a dip on another project that asks for coins just to receive your coin; it ends up as a cash cow for these developers.

There are still a lot of Telegram Mini App games created, and they are still generating millions of participants. its time to check and see what the intention of the developers, is. They are taking participants for a ride; if it's an airdrop it should be an airdrop which is free to those participants.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Watching the games you bet on is meant to be a part of the fun. (2) on: September 22, 2024, 11:45:42 AM

What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?

Every gambler is different on his perspective in gambling, some just want to make money, some want to have fun regardless of the outcome, and some wants to have both.

Its better to have both because it reflects that you are responsible gambler, you are honest in thinking that you have a chance to make and at the same time, you are comfortable of the outcome and you have fun doing it.

Its better to hit two birds with one stone if you can, have fun and make money if you can, move on and do it often, and as long as you are betting with money that you can afford to lose, then gambling poses no problem in your mental health and your finances as well.

will make it! believe me! It's too popular to disappoint, obviously you won't become a millionaire but I think it will pay very well
Many are hoping I have not earned a lot from doing tasks, so I'm not really expecting a huge allocation on my efforts but I just hope they roll up their roadmap and enhance their features and make themselves the frontline of the Telegram Mini App in the market, resulting in good volume and price.

Right now they are on the stage of computation, so I hope they will hit our expectations. I hope we will not see another Catizen scenario where member allocation is not something they expect, resulting in disappointment.

30  Other / Off-topic / Re: when did you realize the real purpose of gambling? on: September 21, 2024, 06:02:35 PM

To enjoy gambling, you have to accept all the purpose it was made for. That was the mean reason why I asked my question and said, when did you realize the real purpose of gambling?.

For me, I was so stubborn, really stubborn, that I lost a lot of money finding ways to make profit, because there was a point where I was winning and thinking that I can come out with a system that would bring me good results,

Unfortunately, I was just assuming that I can when all techniques and tricks have failed, but it was a learning experience, something that I can tell to my friends who are into gambling that there's no use trying to find ways to make a living out of gambling when you really cannot.
31  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Trade NOW using MyCoinChange on: September 21, 2024, 03:50:00 PM
I was about to check your site to review and give my feedback but was stopped because of this, I hope you are aware of this and in the process of fixing this because you are going to lose potential clients and your platform taken down if you cannot take this out as soon as possible.

Or your platform is really a phishing site, then this serves as a warning to everybody not to trade here.

This has been fixed!

Finally, you are able to do that I did mention that there's no use running your business with those red flag coming from Metamask

Then there's no use for you to continue your business, people trust the judgement of Metamask more than your reasoning, its not the absence of scam reports that will make you legit, getting flagged by Metamask is the surest way to ruin one's business.

And now that you finally take the warning off, you will have to do a lot of work to dispel that misconception that your exchange is not phishing and also there are a lot of questions about the integrity of your platform you need to address to get your exchange back on business.

As a rule of thumb, anything that questions the integrity of the platform should be addressed before promoting the platform because what's the use of promoting a platform that is questionable.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 🍀 [Hiring] 🍀 Bounty Campaign Admin on: September 21, 2024, 03:16:55 PM
I think none of the reputable bounty managers in this board will venture dealing with you because of all the Red marks in your trust page.
I don't think that he actually looking for a bounty manager but instead someone who will do the most basic job like checking submitted work etc.

I might be wrong here, but I doubt that bounty managers are actually doing all that work by themselves, they probably have some helpers that are doing the stuff Vispilio is talking about.
I like to think that they have assistants if one bounty managers has at least 5 campaigns running and they are employing 10 to 20 participants, that's a huge numbers to check the behavior of one of each and everyone of the campaign participants.

We at Stake.com campaign have three evaluators who graded each and every campaign participant and gave notes on every one of them on how to improve. I think that's what OP wants. and this is good for the campaign.

I think he should be more transparent on what kind of campaign that OP is going to launch, We all know Mixer is banned in our forum, and by telling us the kind of project, the applicant will have an idea if this is the kind of campaign they want to handle, like if he is going to launch a gambling platform then he needs a gambler to do an evaluation.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Addiction Debate: Virtual Sports Betting vs Real-Life Sporting Events on: September 21, 2024, 02:44:28 PM

Virtual games has in multiple occasions proven to be a digital trap to many gamblers, it has completely transformed the world of gambling as it offers immersive and captivating experiences to gamblers around the world. Many believe that Virtual games are indeed more addictive than the traditional real life games due to its qualities and characteristics such as.

One of the big difference is availability. On real-life sporting events,  you can only bet within a given time frame so your enjoyment and betting experience depends on the platform's time frame.

On Virtual Sports betting, you just login anywhere and anytime and you bet and its up to you when you want to stop and how you want to stop so Virtual Sports Betting is more addictive because there is no option to stop, its like a luck based games where you are the one to decide when to stop.

Which is why we have more people addicted to Virtual Sports Betting because they feed on your addiction, so you are at high risk of addiction if you prefer to play on Virtual Sports Betting, when preferring to play here you should understand the risk factor and have a way to stop yourself become you are lured.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make sure an airdrop is a legit one? on: September 21, 2024, 12:43:15 PM
I just want to know what is the measure of a good airdrop? One of my bitcoiner friends once told me "consider every airdrop a scam until they're not". But I strongly believe that there must be some good measures for this issue as well.
What do you think?

He's right because airdrops now are so abused that we never know which one is good, so your friend is actually giving you a good approach on how to deal with these proliferating Telegram airdrops so you will not waste your effort and you will not put high expectations on these new trending airdrops.

Where the money is and what's trending in the community,, that's where the scammers will come to hatch their bad deeds so if you're going to be active on airdrops be sure you are good at tracing good and bad airdrops.

If they are not transparent and they are not building something for their project that will benefit the community, then have second thought before joining these airdrops.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TON’s User Boom: Outclassing Ghost Chains Like Cardano on: September 21, 2024, 10:01:04 AM
Ton continues to attract investors as it is rapidly expanding with $729M USDT in just 4 months since its integration into Telegram. Its growth has been supported by an expanding user base, particularly through Telegram's implementation of features like mini-apps and tokenized gaming integrations.

Ton was not on the radar of many investors but it is now, but they are adamant because of Pavel Durov's issue because Telegram is still very much attached to the Durov's even though they left their stakes on their chain.
They want to read more positive news before they become comfortable investing on TON.
Quote
It also secured investment from Bitget and foresight ventures https://www.theblock.co/post/316975/bitget-foresight-ventures-invest-30-million-in-ton-blockchain?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social. My gut feeling is this chain will be the next to make a lot of people angry because of the missed opportunities.
So much depends on the success of projects created on the Telegram platform, if the majority of these become successful, it will create positive feedback for Ton chain, making them competitive in the industry, and I agree that Ton could be the next big thing in the chain industry, and now is the best time to acquire more of it.
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Industry Workers: Feature Your Brand in Interview on Bitcasinosrank.com on: September 21, 2024, 09:25:19 AM
This is a good initiative on your part. I see that the interview on BCH was done with the help of the widget to customize the answer, Casino industry workers should take this opportunity to maximize the promotion of their casino.

You did not mention if this is free, and you did not post criteria of casinos you would like to interview, Besides creating a thread here, its better that you contact casinos, there are still reputable casinos that do not have an announcement here.

I hope you get to interview the top casinos in the industry and that includes Stake.com
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Intrek Project on: September 20, 2024, 03:12:03 PM
My apologies I wasn't clear.

The website is https://intrexproject.com

Does this look legit ? They say payment option sent via Western Union from agents who have gmail ? Feels odd.

Is it because of the Western Union payment and the use of gmail? When looking at the homepage, the fake testimonials, the unreasonable profits and the unbelievable claims, make the site clearly a combination of a high risk investment and a Ponzi scheme and thereby a potential scam.

When presented with an investment plan, you have to ask: is the profit realistic, can they sustain the profit and where they are going to get the profit, when even the largest and popular investment company cannot offer a 15% daily profit.

When investing, you should be guided by common sense and always doubt when it's too good to be true.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can it still be regarded as scam? on: September 20, 2024, 02:46:24 PM
What about a scenario where a project after requesting for such payment from participants actually airdropped but to just about 15% of their participants out of a 100% that made that TON payment task. Can that still be regarded as some form of scam? since the notion has been that most of these airdrops that request some fee to be paid don't  usually fulfill their promise.

That's outright scamming, If you set the rule on how participants will qualify for the airdrop and you did not fulfill the promise, then people will lose trust on your project.

If people participate, then they deserve to get what they worked for, Take a look at Dogs it did not ask for payment to qualify, but all participants received their allocation, and so the project has moved forward to their development.

They need to make sure that everyone that pays to receive their allocation should receive it on time, no one should be left behind or people will mark their project as a scam.
39  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If You Became a Campaign Manager, How Would You Make a Difference? on: September 20, 2024, 01:16:26 PM

Also, this could be useful for campaign managers right now, whether in Bitcoin or altcoin signature campaigns, they might pick up some tips! Grin

Its not easy to become a campaign manager, so my concept to make a difference on the way I managed the campaign is picking the best campaign where the posting style of members is very suitable for the project's client, if its a casino then a gambler is my priority, if its an exchange then a trader and make them post on categories where they are likely to get leads

And I think I will implement the grading system just like what we have here on Stake.com and will encourage participants to read the notes on the spreadsheet so they can upgrade their behavior on the forum.

I will also make a Telegram group for participants so I can ask participants on how to improve the campaign, I would like to make it a team effort for all participants.

40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does a friendly bet make watching soccer (or sports) more exciting for you? on: September 20, 2024, 11:56:11 AM

How about you? Which gets your heart racing more: watching a soccer match with a bet on it, or enjoying the game without any bets?

Even if the bet is who will wash the plates, who will clean the place,, or who will pay for the fare, its still exciting than watching a game with no bets on it, if you're a gambler,, you always utter the words I bet and this will challenge anyone who wants to prove you wrong.

When we are watching boxing matches or whatever sports we made it a habit to make bets even a small amount or just doing a simple deeds, we want to challenge people that they are wrong and you are right on what will be the outcome of the game.

But when it comes between friends, there should be an understanding that you don't want to take his money but only to add thrill while we are watching our favorite matches.
