Did SSD have a GitHub?

We could do what bitcoin is doing with a user activated hard fork of SSD where everyone with SSD gets an equal amount of the new token. We could set the supply cap lower so it's price would be comparable to Dash. We would need a new dedicated development team that benefits from the coin and a new website with a new professional sounding name and a nice clean logo. I have a name and a logo ready for a project. My only problem is my SSD is still on bittrex and I'm not sure if the SSD wallet even works anymore.

Here's what we're gonna do. We're going to take Sonic and create an ICO on the Ethereum network and just copy and paste the white paper from Sonic. Everyone here who stuck with Sonic gets 100,000 coins. I'm sure the investors will go nuts over stenography technology and the vortex.

That's probably a fake name just like how cryptocertify was created by him at the same time as SSD and SSD had a high rating from them... Obviously. I don't care if the guy is a crook or not at this point, I only want him to have over the SSD project to other developers. Maybe a developer from Ethereum or dash wouldn't mind taking over, maybe SSD could get added as a token on the Ethereum network. It's only sha256 anyways, the real benefit was in the stenography tech and the vortex.

I believe Arg's actual name is James Stroud. If you look at his post history you will see that he started another project called cryptocertify at almost the same time as SSD. If James isnt him then he almost certainly knows him. He also started a project called BreakoutCoin http://breakoutjournal.com/author/jamesstroud/ which i believe was connected with this slack group https://brocoin.slack.com/messages/@mario/team/mario/ You'll have to let me know if you guys find anything else. Its definitely a starting point for understanding why SSD has not heard from Arg as much as we would like.

Here what we do. Make a subreddit for Sonic SSD to bring more attention to it through subscribers. Then it'll grow in demand and we could get bittrex to add it back maybe even poloniex. Then maybe ARG will come back or hand it off to someone else.

http://coincap.io/SSD

Look how sad this is. We have low supply, cool privacy tech and low price with huge potential to be worth at least $30 a peice. It's very sad since we have all the right elements just no developer. Come back Arg!!!

With all altcoins getting pumped right now we should try to get it added back to bittrex. I'm sure it'll go sky high then. Arg do something that no one expects and fucking say something. Get your coin added back to the exchanges so you can afford to pay for all your personal shit you've been going through for the past 2 years.

I almost forgot about this coin with all my dogecoins going to the Moon. I guess we'll never know wtf this dev was thinking letting this coin go down without a fight. He was always quick to say he had family issues. Excuses excuses. It'll never get listed again. Arg destroyed any good reputation this coin had. Now no one will ever get know of the original stenography coin.

What I find interesting about Args abandonment of this project is that there is a growing demand for a network where people can share news without worry that a centralized figure, such as u/spez on reddit, will edit or censor it. I feel like a TOR based network that also uses stenography that's also decentralized would have been the perfect answer to the problems people now face. I guess Arg didn't see this opportunity. Instead of sonic being a coin it could have been a revolution in communication.

Did anyone here actually ever really know Arg? The guy would only talk on Slack. I wish he would have handed it off to someone else instead of vanishing

Rebranding would def be an easy way to reboot this project. A new name would be a cheap easy alteration that would also attract new interest in the project.. Maybe funding. Should be something that sounds like money and not a science fair project. Let's throw some Names around. At least it'll feel like the project is still alive.

So 1) why is Arg holding this project captive? and 2) Who could develop a similar coin with stenography, tor wallet etc and a better name? If Arg isn't capable of developing this project then hes prolly too poor to fight any copyright lawsuits .

Hello, Arg has had many life changes. I ask no questions and help Sonic when I can.

For anyone wanting to sync the chain, I have made a new bootstrap current as of today, block 1096380.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YdWF1Yi1jU0xfZWc/view?usp=sharing

Given that the network seems to have only 2 nodes, I will set up 2 more nodes to ensure the network is live at all times.

The first is

Code:
addnode=4cubkmey352kxkbh.onion

I will set up a second soon.

The only "life change" that I would accept as a reason for haulting development or not releasing updates at this point is death. This coin is missing out on its golden opportunity to be more than just another shitcoin. Open bazaar 2.0 is running on TOR now. Thats the kinda news that would make a TOR based coin like SSD go up in value. Imagine if it was embraced by Openbazaar as an accepted payment option for goods in the same way Monero was by Oasis. Arg may be knowledgeable on all things privacy but he is very novice when it comes to the financial Markets. He also is not willing to risk anything on his own project in spite of those who already risked their own money in good faith that he would continue this project.

Is Arg willing to hand this project over to people who are more capable of developing it? That's what i would like to know.  I originally chose this coin over  monero because i thought the vortex tech was  better than ring signatures and it could be adopted by bitcoin since  ssd and bitcoin are  both sha256. Does he understand the value that this coin had to the bitcoin community? As other anon coins gain traction how can bitcoin compete? Through development obviously.... If somehow bitcoin enthusiasts saw the same value in ssd as i do they would invest in it.

Prior to its price spike, an online darknet market on the Tor network known as AlphaBay Market announced the implementation of Monero due to a strong demand from the community.

Arg gave up too soon.  Look at the demand for monero right now because of its privacy on the darknet.

Its a certainty that Arg gave up on this project to go work on other projects that he thought would give him more exposure. I was really getting sick of hearing about him needing time away from our investments because he has a family and was going through personal things. News flash..everyone goes through personal things every day and we still get shit done on top of doing our daily job. He's the Hillary Clinton of developers now from my perspective. Lies lies and more lies.

I can tell you all from having a best friend who is the manager of user experience at an advertising agency that everything today is all about being independent. That translates into a desire for simplicity as that makes being independent less stressful. The simpler it is to use the more likely it'll be adopted into use. I would say that having anonymity in financial transactions is a huge step in the direction of Independence. So obviously crypto needs ease of use development.
