This is a very bad situation, and I fully understand that you are disappointed with Ledger Nano S. Most of users have problems with firmware update, but with 1.4.1 version because of some driver problems and MCU update. I also check for this error on internet and there is many cases like yours - some are just give up and other managed to find a solution. You did not write on what OS you are trying to make this update, but maybe you have problems with drivers ( I have problem on Windows 7) so check this thread, maybe there is something which can help you to solve problem. Also I see you try to make update on Ledger Live, maybe problem is in this - we all update firmware with Chrome App - Ledger Manager which is still work these days - maybe it's worth trying. I read that one user is fix error like yours by doing this : I manage to go through this by doing the following steps:
Connect ledger nano s to computer.
Verify MCU genuine appears.
Push 2 buttons on top at same time, read the instructions to safe mode.
Open ledger manager, it gonna show up with a message that new firmware is available.
Install new firmware and its done, things back to normal and im in with new firmware.

Hello guys, I faced a problem with my ledger, it failed and doesn't work after I tried to update it to version 1.4.2 via Ledger Live. Short summary what happened. I never updated ledger before due to different reasons and had 1.3.1 and 1.1 MCU. Yesterday I decided to do it. I followed the instruction, installed ledger live and started the update process but during update several times different errors pop up, after each new error and search what to do with specific problem I managed to update MCU to version 1.5, BUT after that ledger got notification that MCU is not genuine and doesn't have identifiers and also I had to launch it in not secure mode. Booting option doesn't work, as it resets ledger to "MCU is not genuine" and I can't continue confirmation on Ledger live unless you agree (3 clicks) and in this mode ledger can't update and I have note "Ooops, try again, some connection failed". I read and tried everything what was written, changed computers, USB cabled, reinstalled all applications, restarted computers, and I did everything several times, nothing works. Seed restore also doesn't work, as "MCU is not genuine" resets connection to unsafe and everything repeats.  It is like dead circle. I contacted ledger support, but nothing new from what I have already read or tried, they copy paste the same text I already tried. I sent them logs and screens and flow what and how happened but no reply. As a bottom line I spent many hours on some bug which probably won't be fixed in the nearest future. I have a few options what to do and want to ask for advice about that. I need solution only for ETH and ETH tokens, happy that I have never used it for other coins. 1) Мia offline Mnemonic Code Converter [/url]export all the keys and via MEW transfer tokens to other wallet (like this one https://iancoleman.io/bip39/) 2) Restore ledger seed on Trezor wallet. I found a few links that it is possible but not sure what problems I can face, if anyone knows what should be done or known in advance, I will appreciate if you share your experience. 3) Your option. What would you recommend and why? Just for reference, this is a matter of principle, I don't want to buy one more ledger just to restore the old one. The existing problem had happened due to some bug on their side which they can't solve and I have no wish to spend even $1 on them again. Thank you all in advance. |

Не соглашусь. Движение может начаться до анонсов или совсем без анонсов, а мониторинг блокчейна - вещь информативная и объективная на 100% Движения до официальных листингов не будет, по причине, что ордера на тех же дец. биржах, типа дельты, могут быть сейчас только в основном от баунтистов, а это маленький кусочек от общего пирога, инвесторы буду ждать более серьезного продвижения, как запуск продукта, активного маркетинга и ес-но листинга, над которыми сейчас идет работа, и уже скоро будут официальных релизы. |

For example, if abusers/scammers use your forum profile/social account (links) to apply to different campaigns, about which you even never heard. The same question about public tables published on the forum. Thank you.
One problem is that all the information are inside google spreadsheet, so is necessary to look specifically for those and then keep checking them periodically, is a bit different from what i'm doing in here and would not fit. This would require something dedicated, perhaps for a future project. Ultimately should be a responsibility of the bounty managers to do proper checks. Regarding the google sheets, it was worth it to ask, as it irritates that scammers apply with your details, thanks for answering @PolyPanto please try to send a pm with options in the subject instead of subscribe, you are already subscribed so it was ignoring your previous request. This way i can also see if everything works. Thanks

До сих пор считаю проект этакой темной лошадкой, которая может удивить при чем как в одну так и в другую сторону, но больше ожидаю позитива, жаль что это по большей части не совсем аргументированные ожидания, ведь мы все знаем, что информации не так то много как того хотелось но практически все мы верим Poly. Я все понимаю, общаюсь иногда с представителем проекта, что мне известно, что движение за кулисами очень активное, согласна, сейчас внешней движухи не видно и ничего они общественности не публикуют, и настороженность обоснована, но есть активное планирование и маркетинга, и работа с биржами, просто сейчас больше действий происходит внутри самого проекта, так что надеюсь, в скором будущем часть информации сделают публичной и всем будет счастье  |
