I don't think that is FUD mate. There is a lot of ICOs currently and one eat maret share of another that is all. Sure that ICN is security (profit sharing) but after all if they are buying back tokens WHO CARES ? Even if ICONOMI will be last buyer on Etherdelta who cares - if they buyback those tokens for real ? If ICONOMI people will be honest ICN token cannot be stoper even if it is security. Maybe it will be less pumped but it will gain value over time for sure - if devs will keep buying back. The issue I have with the buy back is that the team may be manipulating the price, by putting pressure on the price and keeping it down for them to be buying it up at a cheap price, I still believe the buying back thing is a breach of agreement also there are alot of projects coming up with new model that is going to be fair to investors, let just admit this ICN tokens are security, so why are they trying to deny the obvious I also think the team has no interest in raising the price at the moment. But please don't underestimate the hype for a QUICK proffit. That's why many people are selling. same reason almoast everybody who had bitcoin at first gave it away on the road. The upcomming FIAT gateway will help a lot of people get in and out volume/trading. What is the hurry anyway? the waiting time to purchase a super sport car is around 2 years so i got time. You both are talking nonsense. The team has officially said in the last AMA that they are not keeping the price down. If you don't trust them with official statements, there is no point to be part of the project. They simply don't care about the price at the moment. They care to make a secured, robust and easy to use product that will be used by institutional and traditional firms, aka big money.. Why it is so hard to understand? Get your head out of the over hyped ICO bubble.. Most teams just hype, update, and are very active in social channels. Product - nah, not important. They won;t be around in 2-5 years though i'm not talking nonesense. They really have no interest in raising the price at the moment. Not having a interest in driving the price up is driving the price down. We know that is how it works, and they know that as well. I trust them with the statements and they said the same thing in the last AMA that there's no interest in driving the price up because they want organic growth. based on what they said i can see how this is driving the price down and let's steady hands take the "wheel". A smaller price per token (now) is more proffit for the token holders (near/far future). i personally think this token will have one of the biggest and moast constant gains in 2-5 years time. yes, exactly. When big money will enter the market they will evaluate companies by their performance in the past 2-5 years. And most "coins" are a joke and artificially pumped.. I do agree that in mid-long term it is better. Let them dump.. People forget that the big money is out there and not in crypto. You can have the best product in the world but if nobody is interested in it and nobody it buying it...it will die
You need to have a product before you hype it.. That's how it works If you are looking for a project that does the other way around, Iconomi is not for you. |

But what really burns me is the lack of communication and transparency from the ICN team.
I have too much money on this project to give up and sell my ICN at these crappy prices.
I do believe that there is still a possibility that the team will make good on us the HODLERS but they are making sure that all the weak hands dump first.
This could take some time yet...
Since there is no current transparency on many issues right now, I will have to wait until the their next financial report to make more intelligent decisions about the future of this project.
edit: I forgot to say that I hope that this Black Moon SHIT motivates the ICN team to do what is right for ICN HODLERS.
Yes it hurts to see price fall and what hurts more is the silence from devs. "devs" is Iconomi and they are over 30 people already. The are conducting a monthly AMA, monthly update and blog post for updates. They are not, and will not hang out here, slack or other places to answer questions and hold hands. You have 95% of the crypto projects doing that. And all of them don't have a working product, or a clear business model. ICOs and bullshit project hype will be over soon, I estimate this bubble to pop in less than an year, and then all cool projects that were updating concerned investors, and were hanging out in slack, twitting and doing social media PR will be left with nothing. Very few will survive this, and I am positive that Iconomi will be one of them. Market is hyped and doesn't care about values or a working product. For now. This will change soon. It is 100% similar to the internet at the beginning and the dot com bubble. Iconomi will not update individual "investors" and won't change their way of communication for now. We are still in the development phase. |

Black moon is tempting because they are still promising to share their profits to the token holders (they're not calling it dividends though). On the other hand, their marketing is VERY cringy. Even putting Jacob Rothschild in their main video... Plus the fact it's from Russia gives me less trust (politics). blackmoon are amateurs at best. website looks unprofessional, they have wrong info about their competitors, they are shilling nothing more than a whitepaper.. Will Fiat be implemented in the platform? Without Fiat it doesn't really make sense to me. If I buy with Bitcoin...then whole market raises... nice...but when market crashes, I have to sell against BTC or ETH, which normally are the main drivers of a crash. Fiat needs to be implemented to attract the targeted customers. It was said in the ICO that Iconomi wants to make it easy to enter crypto space for newbies... but it actually isn't at the moment. New Crypto Investors should be able to transfer fiat to the platform and then buy the Index. Now still need to buy it for example on Coinbase, transfer to the platform, buy BLX... sell BLX to BTC or ETH, transfer back to Coinbase and sell for Fiat. Too complicated and a hurdle to get more BLX users. Another thing is what happened with Bitcoin Cash in BLX? They held a lot of BTC in BLX at fork and received BCC for that. It never was added to the index. It clearly belongs to BLX holders, and was communicated Medium post. Are there any benefits of holding ICN on the platform over an exchange? (apart from the risk of holding wealth on an exchange ofcourse..)
I'm not really comfortable with the verification method on the platform so I'm thinking of withdrawing all before the deadline..

I just want to confirm before buying ICONOMI coin in the market, are they paying dividends to holders on every three months.If not means it is going to be the waste one to buy this coin and holding for the long haul.
It's better than dividens... 20% of all money that it's going into platform will be used to buy ICN, so Iconomi will have constantly demand from their platform  Do they keep updating the details of what has been brought back? Whoever sellls now has not done their research. What I love aboit Iconomi is that if you were following this coin from the beginning there is lots of info many later investors will not pick up on, thus causing ICN to be one of the most successful crypto projects ever in terms of price rise.
Oh and not to mention they have a working product already pulling in revenue far higher than any others. They have customers and minimimum 20% of the profits are being used to buy amd destroy coins from the total supply. Its incredible and its still early days
