21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2016, 05:33:58 PM
People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Do you think that China is controlling/ruling bitcoin yes or no?

Yes, I think China is indeed controlling bitcoin, over 70 percent of the transactions on the Bitcoin network are going through just four Chinese companies or mining pools and most flowed through just two of those companies. That gives them the veto power over any changes to the Bitcoin software and technology. Over the past few years, China has become a major market for bitcoins unlike other countries and they have established huge investments in server farms as well as enormous speculative trading on bitcoin exchanges. Chinese exchanges account for 42% of all Bitcoin transactions. But China’s clout is raising worries about Bitcoin’s independence and decentralization, because they are now controlling majority of the bitcoin network hence they are in absolute control unlike any other country.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why in some countries Bitcoin is banned on: December 22, 2016, 04:25:20 PM
Well from what I've observed, nations/countries themselves haven't introduced bans on bitcoins except Ecuador I think but the rest has to do with central banks in those countries who have seen bitcoins as a threat and have therefore issued bans against its dealings and usage. In a country like Ecuador the ban makes the most sense of any ban, as they are building a national electronic cash system, so they feel the need to protect their new currency from something clearly superior. A decentralized currency of finite production that cannot be manipulated by governments or banks might dim the lights on their new program in the eyes of the public, which offers none of those benefits.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 22, 2016, 03:43:04 PM
Absolutely, In a few years, I fear that banks will not be around and because there are now peer-to-peer lending platforms and those developing payment systems, based on blockchain technology. Even the Bank of England made a consortium of 50 English banks; those that are completely rebuilt on a model based on blockchain technology. This is alarming and bankers will start losing their jobs in the near future.

24  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: December 22, 2016, 03:33:43 PM
I think it's bound to happen one day and I'm in full support of it because traditional banking would be done with and we'll have our freedom and privacy to manage and monitor our funds
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: December 22, 2016, 03:23:34 PM
I'm not sure if this has ever been implemented yet, but can you imagine a way of paying with Bitcoin by just using your own body?

It would be more of like a microchip implanted into your left or right hand that would contain both your public and private keys to send and receive Bitcoins.

So in case you want to send or receive some BTC, you would just pass your hand over at a scanner and it would perform the desired operation. This is would make it a very convenient and easy way to transact, and carry your Bitcoins with you anytime, anywhere. However, the only thing to be considered would be the security of your private key from within your implant, to protect your funds from theft.

Nevertheless, I want to know your opinion about this, since it would be pretty cool to have such a system to help spread mass adoption of the cryptocurrency.  Smiley

I think that's probably a gradual implementation of the mark of the beast. I just read revelation 13:11-14:1-20 and I hope you're not in any way suggesting this so that a (world super power) may arise to use against the saints.

Alright thanks for posting, I don't have BTC at the moment but will try to get some probably tomorrow but good luck for today's pick.
They took of this choice from the board. I was looking for this but could not find it. The odds were nice to for a sure thing like this. Just one goal needed to score is a certainty that is for sure in a soccer match.
Just see over 2.5 goals offered now. Embarrassed

I think you must ha missed it, it was rather an over 0.5 goals in the first half of the game and not the full time. I think the odds for the full time was 1.09 .
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2016, 08:43:35 PM
Yay!!! Yippee!!! I just won my first ticket for the night, over 2.5 goals parlay of Bayern/Leipzig and Ingolstadt/Freiburg.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 21, 2016, 08:29:35 PM
I don't believe the banks can be completely wiped out in a moment but I foresee the banks rather investing in bitcoins and gradually replacing them (their fiat) with bitcoins in the future.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: December 21, 2016, 07:49:38 PM
Well, for sports betting you can use analysis as you know all about the team, players, injury situations, current performances, records with the opponent in question and the importance of the game at the material time. This is very different from poker, casinos among others where you can't analyse or read into the future.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 21, 2016, 07:41:12 PM
Inter vs Lazio @ 1X =1.22 odd, my third bet for the night .
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 21, 2016, 07:33:29 PM
Barcelona vs Hercules - Over 5.5 goals - What do you think guys? Barca to 'knock the stuffing' out of Hercules?

Get it?

Wink Grin

Ok I'll leave Cheesy

I bet they'd knock them out , hihihihi but I don't have the guts for over 5.5 so I want to remain resolute with my usual over 2.5 goals.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2016, 07:28:03 PM
I just finished staking a parlay of over 2.5 goals category for Bayern Munich vs  RasenBallsport Leipzig and Ingolstadt vs Freiburg @ 2.34 total odd. More xmas bets tonight, I better go to the Spanish la liga for my picks.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 21, 2016, 07:16:54 PM
Well tonight I'm staking PSG v Lorient @ over 2.5 goals. I hate parlays but I'd see if Bordeaux/Nice could be added for a 2.0+ odd

37  Economy / Services / Re: Deposit 0.005ish BTC and I'll send you 0.0075 BTC on: December 21, 2016, 10:01:27 AM
Somebody was giving 0.015 for this registering task to goldmoney. Why would anybody risk their 0.005 to a negative trusted member for 0.0025?

Say that again dude, we are all not idiots on this forum.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble your (or your child's) school fund? on: December 21, 2016, 09:55:02 AM
Its a tough one for me, I wouldn't know how to offer a good advice because I have gambled half my monthly income before and I did win. On a normal circumstances I wouldn't dare do that but I was so pressed to service a loan and that made me take that crazy decision and it paid off so you've got to decide for yourself and listen to your inner self and you'd be able to make the correct decision.

Get us a trusted escrow and we'd be interested. I hate having to repeat this same thing; in order to gain trust in such a trade on here you'll need an escrow guy.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Price Is At Lowest Point, It Is Time To Buy And Later Sale - Make Profit on: December 21, 2016, 09:35:11 AM
Well, it's true ETH is very low but I doubt if it will rise again since a lot of investors are moving to the zcash and ETH is losing out. If I was you I'd wait and study the terrain at least for the first month in 2017.
