22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: September 02, 2018, 08:47:31 PM
Ethereum Classic can not compete with Eth when the Ethereum Classic's strategies are not strong enough and effective. Ethereum Classic should focus on building and developing communities and even bounty. bounty or airdrop is the crux of effective advertising strategy! All information about Ethereum Classic please update to us soon !!!

Sounds like a shitcoin strategy to me, ETC is not that desperate trust me, there is a lot going on, just gotta be patient.

For all of the users wondering about ETC development you should join the etc discord server.

https://ethereumclassic.org/roadmap/    This is the general road map, but a lot of good things have been added which are not listed in this roadmap.

I wouldnt recommend joining ETC Telegram group as it is being run by a douchebag from what ive heard, but its not a "official etc telegram" as there aren't any official groups, anyone can create and manage a chat group so don't let that affect your opinion

But yeah as I suggest if you want to know more about ETC news/development you should join ETC discord group which is being managed by users from ETCDEV team (ETCDEV team is one of the developer groups who develop for etc)
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: CRYPTLOTTERY - NEW LOTTERY GAME! PROVABLY FAIR AND EASY! on: August 29, 2018, 08:06:29 AM
up, fixed giveaway link. after retweet, create a ticket with your link to twitter profile, and your bonus will be added to your balance

I have just participated and created a ticket for it, lets see how long I will get the giveaway. I also see there are many active players now betting on the jackpot game and the amount they play is good enough. The jackpot is always more than $500 every round (1.5 minutes/round) which is actually very good amount for a new site like yours. No offenses, but are they real players?

Those are not real players, after every round the same bet amount gets placed

$ETC Pump coming tomorrow with Bittrex ETC/USD listing, but long term potential here as well. Hold at least half long term IMO. Internet of Things potential in development. $$$Classic Is Coming!

bla bla, like always, it will not pump. just look at the coinbase , there was no pump, a small one, nothing more

Not at the moment.. I'm glad that it's stable at it's current level. Which means a great breakout is possible in the few next weeks.

i am agree with that, etc is stable. but it is stable for too many years

On this I dissagree with you.. In the next bull run, which will hopefully take place between October and December this year, ETC will be 1 of the coins to watch.
They are listed on Coinbase now, Crypto beginners will get interested again in crypto because the upgoing trend and they can see ETC as the cheapest coin.
They start searching and find that ETC actually is the original ethereum chain and still is affordable.
So i guess in the next bull run we will for sure see a major increase for this coin.

I don't think there will be a bull run anytime soon, sadly, overall crypto volume and interest is dropping if you look at google trends.

Not ETH but ETC will see $100.
question is when?
Well, if the topic is already two years and the fork of the ether is still not even close to this mark, then the next years for him will not solve anything. So I always said that forks are not at all viable.

You should do some reading. ETH is the fork of ETC.

ETC just defeated DASH (in terms of market-cap), next: NEO & Monero. Smiley

 Smiley

This is awesome! Cheesy

I believe ETC will hit 50$ and the of this year, but only if btc going to perform okay

After coinbase implemtation and after the CLO sidechain, by the end of the year ee could see ETC sitting on a price higher than ETH now

True story.

clo is actually not a sidechain. that would be awesome, but i dont see it happening this year

I want to know ethereum classic is the fork of ethereum right?

Other way around

I hope you're all doing well!

Since this is just on developing period i guess this wont be appropriate to be posted on this gambling section but either on project development or announcement boards (correct me if im wrong).

Towards the project im little bit curious yet you had mentioned that this wont really be just like a typical game against the house.  Huh

From the description he wrote it sounds a lot like a game which i made back in 2016

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C--rJtSVj_c ( it doesnt exist anymore so not advertisement)

Im wondering how are you gonna make a provably fair system for this kind of game?

Hash/salt/roll isn't really it, because you(house)  could still see the outcome of the game before everyone else does.

I agree that this is a problem. It's a problem with the entire provability system itself though. The owner of Bustabit said that the number generates before the game starts to prevent it from sniping big players. Whether or not he's telling the truth is an entirely different proposition. I think it's still good to implement provability fair regardless.

You can't really call it a provably fair system, I don't think its fair to market it as a game with provably fair when you the house can still see the result before the game ends and just hop-in and play. I'm not saying you would do that. Nothing wrong with your game not being provably fair it would just require peoples trust, otherwise imagine what will happen when you release the game and have the "provably fair" section which only "verifies" the bets and nothing else.

Maybe you could create an open source smart contract if you use ETH for the game
If its btc maybe you could implement "stretching function", but that would make the games longer

Sveiki visiem!

Paldies.

Kāpēc lai nevarētu, normālas kartes.

Problēmas ir, kad regulāri cash out taisa, var nobloķēt, viņiem labāk patīk, ja iepērkās.

Kura labāka nepateikšu, pēc VISA ban esmu off no kartēm.

good news but price is still cheap , it seem that etc have no future , ETH is stronger, bigger, and mass adopted...

By mass adopted you mean that eth price only rose when all the icos started to pour in.

ETH is mostly used for crowdsale contracts, remember that ICO owners are the people with most ETH imagine what happens when they all start dumping  Smiley

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: May 10, 2018, 07:48:32 PM
Today, I learned the history of coins. Ethereum Classic was originally orthodox, and ETH was a fork currency. ETC is suitable for a lot of marketing.

As far as I know, Ethereum classic appeared after theft of the Eethereum on a large amount, so Buterin paid for the scammers. This story was told to me by a friend, it seemed to me truthful ... This project definitely has a future, but it will not catch up with the real Ethereum

Ethereum classic is the original. Eth was a fork from etc.
