This is obviously unfair. A bounty campaign should clearly define the rules at the beginning of the game, instead of changing the rules at the last moment. No one would like to contract with those who arbitrarily change the rules because they lack credibility. I suggest blacklisting ICOs and bounty managers who changed the rules at the last moment.

The fact is that right now 90+% of legitimate ICOs are requiring KYC. Especially the ones that stands out from the crowd and where the most ROI can be made. So in boycotting these you basically loose most of the opportunity to make big gains (ofc if that is your purpose in the crypto space).
The entire KYC aspect goes against what Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market stands for which is anonymity. My primary reason for investing into this market was because I was able to conduct financial transactions online without any outside interference by banks etc. KYC goes against this entire logic which is why I don't support and never will. If you are willing to participate in such campaigns, do your research since your personal details are at stake here. We should ask ourselves, why we are enter the cryptocurrency in first place? for me main reason is cons of centralized system. so when some projects on cryptocurrency switch to centralized system then those not a cryptocurrency project anymore. for who agreed to insertion KYC in cryptocurrency for money laundering. there are hug money laundering every moment in centralized system. |

I had participate with many bounties that required KYC from their investors but they didn't ask bounty participates to do so as bounty participates are advertisement methods. nowadays many bounties required KYC from bounty participates at the end of their bounty and It is clear to scam bounty participate of those projects.

I even don't want to provide my KYC document (government ID, driving license...) to trusted companies such as Facebook or Google. Why you want to provide such that documents to thousands of team/project/ICO in the market. Facebook still cannot protect our data so how these small company can do??
Well said, I follow this principle I do not provide my personal data to any companies or individuals I do not know anything about them ever. Projects built on data require collecting as much data as they can. So, if a project collects data, they usually want KYC. There are even projects not only for bounty, but also for airdrop. As mentioned, sharing personal information can be very dangerous. For example, the Shivom project requires KYC, as well as a passport. I've spent a lot of time with Shivom, and now I will not get awards. This is a big injustice.

That's not the bounty manager or project owners fault. It is clear the bounty Participants fault. we are all get into cryptocurrencies for decentralized,Privacy etc..and this is removing the the purpose of decentralized and cryptocurrencies absolutely. I find addnodes but there is no kingcoin.conf in the folder of the wallet. What should i do.

I opened my Seratio address on etherscan and guess what i found that the address is zero balance but on Serato web-wallet my balance is correct, what the hack? btw when we will get the Serato bounce for holding our Serato on your wallet?

Nice! Although for a casual holder of Bitsend, I believe Coinomi is enough. Goddamm wallet is so useful. Anyway, still lurking and reading this thread regularly for more than a year now.
That is true, however there is dedicated android wallet as well for bitsend. Coinomi is closed source nowadays (which means that if the dev wanted to, he could steal all of the funds from user wallets by hiding some code for malicious purposes), so i would be careful about storing too much of funds there.
Paper wallet is probably the best bet for a regular user who wishes to hold as sweeping the wallet is pretty simple as well. I will probably update the bootstrap.dat file rarely, but still will. We'll see if there is any demand for that. am not that new to crypto but Ive never used paper wallet neither do I even understand how it works though I've been hearing about it. Would appreciate if anyone can tutor me on it, can it work on mobile phone as well?
