Make one yourself.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: November 24, 2017, 08:17:04 PM
Is there a way to get Awesome Miner to mine three different coins on the game rig? Three different miner programs on the same rig (three algorithms on two GPU's each).
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining SIB with Baikal (X11GOST) ? on: November 21, 2017, 04:28:54 PM
Unless I'm mistaken, no existing asics work with sib..  x11gost /= x11
What Asic can mine this coin?
They just said there are no existing asics for that algorithm.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Titan Xp hashrates? on: November 20, 2017, 12:39:47 PM
Hello,

I was wondering what the current up-to-date hashrates are for Titan Xp on as many algorithms as possible? I can't seem to find a good source with up to date hashrates. Nicehash doesn't even have it and yiimp.eu lists old hashrates that doesn't seem right at all. For example, yiimp.eu lists the fastest lyra2v2 hashrate at 67MH/s, which surely can't be right when a single 1080 Ti hashes at over 70MH/s.

Thanks

I'm trying to get statistics on SMART but it doesn't seem to work.

Awesome Miner seems to have SmartCash as SHA-3 algo and is for some reason using very different stats than whattomine. I've added SMART as a new coin under "Coins & Profit > Statistics" and added its json URL but it doesn't work (have changed update interval to 2 minutes).

Other coins I've added the same way works great. But not SMART. Any ideas?
I don't think Awesome Miner has this coin built-in at all. Also, please note that you have both "SmartCash SMART (SHA3/Keccak)" and another coin called "Smartcoin SMC (X11)" listed on WhatToMine:
https://whattomine.com/coins/197-smart-keccak
https://whattomine.com/coins/159-smc-x11

Is it "SmartCach SMART (SHA3/Keccak)" you want to use but get incorrect stats for?
I'm trying to add SmartCash (197) and have added its json to Awesome Miner. I've also added it as a coin manually but I don't think that matters (tried without it as well).

Or are you saying that the SmartCash that was added to SHA-3 is the one I should use? If so, then it's very out of date on prices I think. Sorry if I'm doing something wrong, I really want everything to work properly before I purchase a license. Thanks!

Is it really going to be profitable?
Very unlikely. Mine only if you plan to hold long term.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How is power distributed between GPU and riser? on: November 12, 2017, 09:33:06 AM
I'm not worried about the cable itself.

I want to know what happens to the power at the riser when I lower/increase power limit. Where does the GPU's pull power from "first"? Where will it "remove" power draw from first when lowering power limit? What does the added power go through first when increasing power limit?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How is power distributed between GPU and riser? on: November 12, 2017, 08:18:43 AM
PCI-e slot is designed to deliver max of 75w.
Yes, but will it ALWAYS deliver 75W? What happens when I lower power limit with 50%.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How is power distributed between GPU and riser? on: November 11, 2017, 04:01:54 PM
Hi,

Does anyone know how power is being distributed between GPU and riser?

Let's say a GTX 1080 Ti uses 250W at stock. How much of that power goes through the riser? If I lower the power limit to 50%, will the riser use 50% less power as well or will the riser always use the same power while only the power through the connectors to the GPU get lowered? How is the power divided among riser and pin connectors?

Thanks

I'm not getting any transactions to my wallet. I haven't done anything with it really, just started the daemon and let it sync. Then used the cli to create a new address. Using that address to mine on pools, have been paid from pool 12 times but still 0 balance in my wallet.

I should also mention that when opening the cli using Power Shell and typing "show_transfers" lists one transfer. That is transaction #8 (of 12) from the pool. Nothing else. Still no balance and that was hours ago.

Starting only the cli (without Power Shell) lists no transactions when typing "show_transfers".

Any ideas?

Edit: The reply above my post fixed it for me! You're awesome.

Pool shows that I've been paid, but there's no balance in my wallet. It is the correct wallet address. I've been paid a couple of times (11 maybe?) but only #8 is shown in my wallet (though only when using Power Shell and typing "show_transactions"). Any ideas?

Edit: Above is regarding ETN.

The Snapshot was in Block #70623 your Money arrieved in Block #70635 so its recommend to store the money before the Snapshot best at 00:00AM Monday.

I didn't get 6%. I got less than 3%. I did register and I got two transactions to my wallet. They're just wrong.

Edit: I had 82 BTX in my wallet. Last I checked, 6% of 82 is 4.92. I received 2.15856 BTX (1.07926 + 1.0793).
That makes sense, but very unfortunate. They were 12 blocks too late. That sucks but my fault for not storing them earlier. Thank you for checking though!

might as well point all your gpu's @ that keccak algorithm on nicehash ~
Why would that earn you more than simply mining keccak to a pool?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: October 21, 2017, 05:47:32 PM
I wouldn't call it a robbery, but you are geting a bit less because of the 4$ fee and the fact that you are dependant on hash buyers, who, of course won't pay more for hash than it actualy makes.
Then again, if u are mining with lots of different gear and have many algos its ok i guess, because of the direct conversion to BTC.
Selling tons of different coins on an exchange to get BTC out can be quite expensive, considering the fee's you're gonna pay for each sale.
That's not how things works. If the exchange has a 0.25% trading fee, then it doesn't matter if you trade one coin or 100 coins. Since it's a set percentage instead of a flat fee, then the total amount paid in fees will be exactly the same.

Easy example:
Say the trading fee is 1% (it's not but it'll make for an easy example).

Trading one coin worth total $100 is $1 in fees.

If you instead trade 100 coins worth total $100 ($1 per coin), you'll still only have paid $1 in total fees, but $0.01 per trade.

Check the log of your pool software, could be a problem there. I have only limited knowledge of GPU mining, but I guess for someone to solve that problem he/she would need a bit more information (setup, pool software using, GPU mining settings, etc.). I'm not using my own pool, I'm mining directly to my wallet. It doesn't happen when I connect to a pool though (not mine).
I'm going to assume that there's either something wrong with my wallet or maybe the CPU of that machine isn't good enough for AUR. It is for any other coin I've thrown at it though.

Each rigs I've got are using G4400, 4GB RAM, SSD and 6x 1080 Ti's on Windows. I'm running all GPU's at stock settings during testing.

The wallet is on a nuc with an N3050, 8GB RAM, SSD on Ubuntu 16.04.3 and have the wallet compiled from the github.

I haven't censored anything from the log, I'm not using the passphrase from it so don't worry.
Log file is too big, so I've uploaded it to gdrive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B--5E9hzBYq8OVJ5cE8xXzJvVWc

I'm having some issues with my wallet. All my GPU's run super irregular, going up and down in usage and power every few seconds. That doesn't happen when I mine on a pool though.

Thanks! Though I left it on over night and it was synced when I woke up. I thought it was going to take a lot longer than what it did.

Edit: I've started mining on a pool (http://crypto.office-on-the.net using Skein) but I don't seem to be getting the correct amount of coins. It does seem to increase over time, but what seems strange is how one person with 5GH/s gets 1.3 coins per block the pool finds but I only get 0.5 coins per block. I have 28GH/s.

Hi,
There are a lot of pages and I can't go through them all in one sitting, so I'll ask one or two questions instead while reading:
1. Is it worth mining AUR with Nvidia cards?
2. Is there any blockchain snapshot I can download so I don't have to go through over 3 years of blocks?
