21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: December 14, 2019, 09:44:07 PM
Gambling is for entertainment. However, if I was gambling for money I'd invest in crypto altcoins. The problem with the casino is that the odds are fixed. Experienced sports punters can make money in sports. On second thought, that would be my first option. I's say 2 million would be nice.

Why not move it yourself? Bottom left hand side click move topic and pick the appropriate section.

Yup, you are right. i didn't see that. Moved to discussion forum.

....
Yes, this is a gambling related topic but this topic should be moved to Gambling discussion.

Yes, you are right about that. I missed it. I just sent a request to Cyrus (mod) to move it.
Cheers!
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / A BOLD player is considered a dangerous player at casinos and sportbooks. on: December 14, 2019, 08:36:02 PM
CAUTION: I am not telling you to do this. I wanted to share an inside perspective on what Betbit.com considers a "dangerous" player and why.

As many know I represent Betbit.com. Recently we have a fearless player from this forum that logs in and wins 200mBTC on a 100mBTC deposit in less than 15 minutes on many occasions. The reason why I am posting is to congratulate him (will not be named) and tell the community a little secret about what brands consider dangerous players.

The players who make admins nervous are those who bet large amounts in short periods of time. It's actually more specific than that. Here's a real-world example that is recent. A player has recently deposited 100mBTC. He plays classic live crypto casino (Shameless link insert ). He originally plays with 25mBTC per hand. He doubles down on subsequent bets. First 25, then 50, then 100. He can go higher, but he withdrawals after around 200mBTC.

Bitcoin casinos can get in trouble because the deposits and withdrawals are fast without interference from a human cashier. instant. These players come like Barracudas sttacking prey and leaving quickly having feasted.

Let's go over real quickly why. In small data-sets, there is more statistical variance. More opportunity to go against the theoretic odds. In classic blackjack, playing Basic Strategy, the odds are about 99.4%. The more hands you play, the closer you are going to get to 99.4%. This player defies the odds of small sample sizes.

Don't get me wrong. The player can and does lose on occasion. You can lose everything really fast as well.
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SportBet.one - decentralized sports-betting platform ⚽️ on: December 14, 2019, 08:03:26 PM
Very cool. I think the decentralized sportsbooks are going to be the future of sports betting. To be truly decentralized with no censorship there would have to be decentralized Oracles, which I don't think there are today. You may have found a solution to this, however.

Wagerr is decentralized, but their main challenge is the value of their own wagerr token. Before large events, the price goes up. After the event, the price plunges due to the glut of sales of winnings. It's cool to see you do that on the EOS chain. Best of luck to you.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍒 GamblingSiteFinder.com — Ranking The Best Online Gambling Sites on: December 14, 2019, 01:27:07 AM
Great, I am soliciting to add Betbit.com to your list. Great site by the way. How long have you been developing your site? I like the minimalistic nature of the list categories. Very cool and easy to use.
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game-protect scam even more nefarious than you might think. on: December 13, 2019, 09:33:38 PM
How much did he make from all his silly tricks though? Fuck-all I assume. He constantly kept calling out the sites that didn't pay for his affiliate commission so I guess he didn't really make much out of it. No site or a player fell for his "Will get you the money back" trick as well. All those efforts of sending mails to number of government authorities are politely being ignored.

Good question. His shenanigans did not make him anything. IMO he could have done well by being a player advocate. I think there is a real need to be forceful with brands that do not pay out winnings or who are deceptive. That would be a service and be just. There's an element of bad faith when you play with the intention of claiming your losses afterward. It's true I have a vested interest in this sort of thing.

Regardles, I think someone who defended players who brands did not pay or keep their money is very useful. He should change his business model.

He didn't cheat while playing. I don't know if he cheated on others. I've seen threads where people acuse him of cheating them (the players themselves who contract his services).

I hear you.

Affiliate programs do not allow this, generally speaking. But sometimes it happens. I ran an affiliate program for 10 years. I have seen players attempting this on occasion. You can usually find this out fairly quickly. Sometimes it can be difficult because the affiliate programs use different platforms than the casino (sportsbook) platform. Affiliate programs are usually managed by third parties or at least third party software. Cross-referencing player information with affiliate information is not readily available. Programs generally do not receive access to the player data for cross-referencing.

The words that you have chosen to create this topic are very serious and are considered a crime punishable by law. Why are you wasting your time here, if you have proof go to the authorities and raise an investigation. They can easily trace out more proofs for you.

Extortion is punishable by law and as you have used it in your post, I am therefore recommending the above solution.

You can also look into the option of initiating a scam accusation on this individual.

Do not waste your time here.

If someone is committing a Fraud or a Scam they need to be dealt straight forwards.

Unfortunately, nothing would come of it. It was an attempt on his part. In the end, it did not work on his part. My goal was to share the information. I should have used stronger wording in the original post. As far as a waste of time. I thought some members would be interested. The intent was to engage with community members. If these topics are not of interest, then I'll certainly avoid them in the future.

29  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game-protect scam even more nefarious than you might think. on: December 13, 2019, 04:06:10 AM
Even if it's Game-Protect with his bad reputation, it's not fair to accuse someone for scamming and then refuse to provide solid proof.

Your opinion is valid. I will not deny that.

However, this has been my experience with this individual. I thought the community would be interested in the extent of the scam overall. not just the player's perspective, but the affiliate program and the brand as well. We have never had an issue like this player (game-protect) before.

So out of the above posters, no one has any comments other than virtue signaling?

To me it seems that you're simply using his (bad) reputation to create a thread to promote your site Wink

Not at all. I wanted to make an observation and contribute to the forum's discussion.

31  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Cryptocurrency Sportsbooks on: December 12, 2019, 11:29:27 PM
Hey guys, I would like to nominate https://wwwbetbit.com . I don't mean to be a shill, but I wanted to throw that out there.

Instant deposits and withdrawals and anonymous. First deposit bonus of 100% up to 100mBTC (45X WR)
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: Game-protect scam even more nefarious than you might think. on: December 12, 2019, 11:25:50 PM
The scam is deeper than you might think at first. On the one hand he would take money from players to "recover" funds. Then on the other, he would be an affiliate generating revenue from players who lose funds. So, he's earning on both sides. Here is what I believe he did to our brand Betbit.com . I can't prove it due to the difficulty in tieing IP addresses and names, but here's my best guess.

Are you kidding me? You came here to report  a person, you said he cheated, in the end it's just your conjecture? You say someone has taken advantage of your brand and you can't stop it? It was crazy!

Of coarse he would make threats about posting here on bitcointalk.com and telling the authorities about our brands. He intentionally deposited not to entertain himself, but with the intention of extorting us to get his funds back. That is bad faith on his part. This was not about us doing something wrong ethically. This was about him trying to scam our brand.

How can he denounce you if he has enough evidence? Even you, if there is no real evidence, no one believes you. So my suggestion is to find a way to verify his identity, if you're not wrong, don't worry. You prove that he is a fraud, he will definitely get a lot of negative trust.

He didn't cheat. He played and lost. He then tried to extort us to try to get his winnings back. Then, he wanted the affiliate commission of the same losses.
His username was the same. His handle here was the same (game-protect). Conjecture? yes and no. It's safe to make some assumptions. Same username's on affiliate program and bitcointalk handle.  Emails specifically mentioning everything I said.

I am dumbfounded at the extent of his exploits. I am discussing my experiences with this individual. This behavior should be discouraged. I will not be posting screen shots, merely sharing my experience.

I would suggest checking out his profile. He has significant negative trust. He is a highly controversial member. Take the info for what it is.

Regardless, I think it is a very interesting case of what not to do, and the extent of dishonesty someone is willing to go through to burn players, brands, and affiliate programs alike.
33  Economy / Gambling / Game-protect scam even more nefarious than you might think. on: December 12, 2019, 07:19:15 PM
If you read up on game-protect here you'll see complaints from people who paid him money with the promise to recover funds lost at casinos. Did you know that he was also an affiliate to online casinos and sportsbooks as well?
The scam is deeper than you might think at first. On the one hand he would take money from players to "recover" funds. Then on the other, he would be an affiliate generating revenue from players who lose funds. So, he's earning on both sides. Here is what I believe he did to our brand Betbit.com.

He would sign up under an affiliate link (his). Deposit funds. If he won, I am sure he would have taken the funds via instant withdraw immediately. In this case, he didn't. So, he lost. He immediately complained about the details of having a license and reasons why we should return his funds.

He posted here many times: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5195221.msg53304955#msg53304955 .

He also made various emails to the UK gaming commission as well.

After all of that, he still emailed us requesting his affiliate commission on those same funds!

He is scamming every possible aspect of the community, the players, the brands, affiliate programs and wreaking havoc by complaining to the authorities.

I forgot to mention he posted that he was going to turn in Bitcointalk forum to the authorities for illegal activities. What a gem!

34  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbit.FUN is not related to us (Betbit.COM) on: December 11, 2019, 12:40:26 AM
Hey guys,
Thank you for the feedback. If I had merit I'd be giving them out like I was in a Mardis Gras parade. I was originally concerned, but now after your perspectives, I see that it is transparent that they are scammers. I didn't even land on their page due to the same warning.

Why would they waste time and effort? True it's cheap, ($1.28 Thanks Veletan), but it makes me wonder what they could possible be doing to make any revenue? If there are any more developments, I'll alert the community. Thanks to all.

https://www.Betbit.com has no KYC and is anonymous. It's a sportsbook and casino.

37  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETBIT.COM Bitcoin Sportsbook and Casino | INSTANT WITHDRAWALS !!! on: December 09, 2019, 07:07:27 PM
Hello Players,
There is a player we have not been able to get in touch with. We know he is a member of the community here, but we are not sure what his username is. He ( or She) was playing live roulette from Vivo Gaming. The player won 59mBTC. We think he may have been unsuccessful in trying to withdraw his funds. He played his recent winnings and lost. We are refunding his 59mBTC. I am sure he would have wanted to withdraw the funds when he won. We do not want this issue to be seen as a stalling scheme. So, if this is you, log in and see your funds are back in your account. Cheers to all!
38  Economy / Gambling / Betbit.FUN is not related to us (Betbit.COM) on: December 09, 2019, 07:03:01 PM
Hello Community,
It was brought to our attention that there are mass Discord messages from a website called betbit.fun giving away prizes.  We wanted everyone to know that they are not in any way related to betbit.com. I do not know if they are legitimate or not, I just know they are being confused with us (Betbit.com). The confusion is in name only. They are not pretending to be us or misrepresenting us, it's just that their domain name is the same.

So, if you are pulled in by a free knife or other prizes, know that it's not us.

39  Economy / Gambling / Re: SportOdyssey bitcoin sports brokerage has no kyc? on: December 04, 2019, 03:48:40 PM
I would say never take any bonus from any casino or a bookie( unless you KNOW 100% what are you doing )
I'm surprised they even offer bonuses with no KYC
usually it works like this: you take the bonus and then have to wager it 40x times and the people who do not read the small print will be surprised
at how it is not easy to wager and the vast majority will lose both deposit and the bonus
if you are lucky enough to meet the wager requirements and want to withdraw your winning there will be the 100% KYC check
casinos will try everything to not pay - including accusing you of multiaccounting, hiding your IP with VPN and similar ridiculous things

I agree with you whole-heartedly. At Betbit.com we often discourage bonuses. There is nothing more frustrating than hitting it big and then finding you have more wagering requirements to fulfill, or there are game exclusions. This ultimately leads to players not being satisfied. Actually, our most satisfied players are those that deposit and withdraw instantly without any limitations. The freedom to walk away is more valuable than begin locked in to a BD wagering requirement.

Also, consider the operator's perspective. Since there is no KYC, and the deposits are bitcoin, the potential for bonus abuse is much higher. The wagering requirements a little higher to compensate. it has to be like that or the sportsbook would not be sustainable. I heard Casino Meister give a speech some time and he said: "There are no bad bonuses, just bad terms, and conditions". That makes a lot of sense.

From my perspective, the 100% bonus above is not sustainable for three factors. (1) only 5X play through, with no mention of games that are excluded (2) BTC only deposits. (3) No KYC.
I don't think this bonus will last for long. Also, they are a new brand and may comfortable operating at a loss. I don't know. It would be nice if they chimed in.

Betbit.com has never breached the trust of a client.
The BetBit scam does not process my affiliate commission and breached my trust!

Lying about the operator and license also is not trustworthy! Roll Eyes

You attack our brand and call us a scam. After this slander you expect to be compensated? Please help us understand that.
