22  Economy / Services / Re: [Buying] Quick PayPal Service for Digital Ocean on: June 23, 2017, 11:07:41 AM
He told me he would be back after work to complete the PayPal transaction. It would most likely take around 10 hours. Around 15 hours have passed by now and I'm waiting in anxiety for this transaction. I'll keep everyone updated on the topic. I already sent the $7 as told in the OP post.

Paypal transactions do not take nearly 10 hours, paying them takes literally like 30 seconds max so idk what you mean. I do not however see him running away with 7$ since the account is alot more worth, so you should not be worrying about that. Maybe he is just busy.

I meant that he told me he would send the money in 10 hours tops. However, if you're telling me not to worry, I'll try. It's just weird that all communication stopped.

Hi there,

I've got a Digital Ocean coupon from my Github Education program. However, I don't have a Credit Card nor do I have PayPal.
Is there someone who could deposit $5 on my Digital Ocean account with his/her PayPal and I will send you $7 in Bitcoin as thanks.

If you could help me out, please add my Skype: jake.fxr

Thank you.

28  Economy / Digital goods / [Selling] Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Code on: June 01, 2017, 06:46:10 PM
Code has been sold. Thank you for your interest.

Hi there,

I've got a Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Code which I have no use for. It's obtained from my personal Mojang account. You can use the code in the official Windows 10 Store.

They sell at G2A for about $10, so I'll take $6 for it.

I can only accept Bitcoin.

If you're interested, either send me a PM or contact me on Skype: jake.fxr

Do these work on PayPal?
30  Other / MultiBit / Re: Restore your wallet every now and then on: January 12, 2017, 07:20:10 AM
Hardware wallets seem like the best of both worlds to be honest. And keeping those private keys/wallet words safe is essential as well.
Having back-ups is just essentials from pretty much anything in case you get attacked by ransomware.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000+ is anytime now on: January 02, 2017, 01:59:12 PM
It would be best if it stabilizes around $1000 now. That would be best to make it mainstream.
A big correction is coming up though.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000+ is anytime now on: December 09, 2016, 07:39:39 AM
Well, I can say we broke $750 by far now. Let's see what comes next.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000+ is anytime now on: December 05, 2016, 01:04:12 PM
Taking back my statement, the resistance is too high.
I think $1000 (if it'll ever happen) will happen in 2018 most early.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explanation for the 710-750 drops? on: December 01, 2016, 07:46:57 PM
trend bitcoin price is now still up
so is several day later , bitcoin price is down only corection and concolidation price
and can up again until 20 december 2016, resistance price is 800dollar

Speaking about the price in recent times, resistance occurs as soon as the price starts coming close to around the $750 level. From there the price will most likely start heading down towards $720 where after that we'll see the price climb back up to around current levels again. Not sure how you come up with resistance being at the $800 level...

I agree that the current big resistance point is around $750. $800 is a bit ridiculous as we haven't come anywhere near it.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explanation for the 710-750 drops? on: November 30, 2016, 03:07:14 PM
Didn't anyone think that the market's irrationality is over and the price of BTC is now becoming more efficient and balanced? Maybe all the news, rumors and the economic need for BTC is reflected in the price right now. In short this is where BTC's price should be at.

I can agree with that. I think if you realistically look at all the aspects that have been, and still are influencing the price, then anything between the $650-$700 levels is what I consider to be a fair price. So in that regard, the current price can be seen as a more than welcome bonus for most of the people here. I however think it won't last long as I expect the price to dive below $700 before the end of next week. My advice is to either keep holding, or secure profits right now (assuming you are a decent % in the green of course).

Looks like it is diving a bit right now

I think, according to previous messages, that it's going to stabilize around $700-730 right now.

It did, I never doubted it would

Haha, you guys are pretty good at predicting, I must admit that.
36  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best wallet for a Raspberry Pi on: November 29, 2016, 08:42:36 PM
it's certainly safer than a normal computer.

Why? There isn't anything special with a Raspberry comparing it to another computer, being it whatever size or architecture. A Raspberry is as safe as any other computer, which means it is as safe as its owner wants it to be.

I agree with you 100%. But I'm comparing the Raspberry Pi to another dedicated machine for Bitcoin (which is often secured just for that purpose).

It's certainly safer if you just use it for BTC in comparison with having a wallet on a PC (or Mac in my case) you use daily.
But, once again, it depends on how safe the user wants it to be.

That being said, yes, hardware wallets such as Trezor are probably more safe than a computer Smiley

Something is only as safe as the owner wants it to be. Trezor could be stolen, Bitcoins could be hacked, nothing is 100% secure. Although, Trezor, KeepKey and other hardware wallets are your best option thus far (except maybe a paper wallet).
37  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallet to use ? Tired of Blockchain on: November 28, 2016, 04:49:24 PM
Can anyone let me know, is Jaxx a web wallet or a software wallet (that which you install on PC).
I'd also like to know if it has been audited if it's open source.

39  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: November 26, 2016, 06:32:34 PM
I always use bitcoin I have when there's something I have to pay in the real world. to be honest, I often get a bitcoin, probably in large numbers, but today I had a poor financial management, so now I just save less than 0.05 BTC in place exchanger that I use to store bitcoin

I don't recommend storing your BTC at an exchanger though. It's much safer to store your BTC in your own wallet. As websites can go offline at any given time.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: November 26, 2016, 05:41:10 PM
how sad i dont have a save on bitcoins Sad
i lose it all in gambling. but still ihave a stable income and i was so depressed after i loss my .6 btc yesterday. im gonna regret it until next week.
im planning to save this incoming profit that ill be receiving and im gonna invest it on some gamblign sites bank roll i heard its a stable profit for those who want to make their bitcoins grow

Did you ever think about not gambling the money you have in BTC and instead save it up?
Gambling is fine, but try to control yourself and quit before losing everything.
Just some advice from a random Smiley.
