Today is 03.09.2019 and the price of BTC is 10300-10400 USD. But still, it is too early to answer your question. BTC is moving between 9000-11000 USD at the moment and the break out will decide to the direction. I guess the probability of going higher is more possible than the lower.

I think 100k for each BTC is very plausible in the near future. According to the regression analysis price prediction, in 3 years BTC will top at the near 100k USD.
There are also some price prediction methods that shows BTC price can go even higher in 3 years.

Ive been into BTC since 2014, and I am NOT a trader. I can read the charts somewhat. Every analyst is pointing out right now that there is a descending wedge, coiling price, and dropping volume. They are also claiming a symmetrical triangle. A lot of them are expecting a break to the upside because we are technically in a bull market.
I firmly disagree. The sentiment right now is a little negative. After this huge run up I expect a break down to like 8K or lower.
I could be wrong, I hope Im wrong. And Im not willing to sell any bitcoin and take a chance.
But I think Im right! (Lets see if this ages well?)
I agree with you I am also waiting a breakout to the down side. But the target is not 8k or below. My target is 8800-9000 USD. And the timing is not in few days. By the way the big break out which will move BTC maybe 3k or more is probably will accrue in September. |

You are right, but this is not the end of the world. Many people even will not know which cryptocurrency is number one. They just will use it. selling at a low price is the same as selling a loss, and that is not a good solution. if you are a market player, you will know how to survive or take advantage of the market in any condition.

This calculation is not according to marketcap cap of all coins. If I am not wrong, 90% of BTC dominance according to trade volume. And I dont think trade volume can clearly reflect the reality. Because as you know trade volume is totally fake.

2017 is in the past now and dont expect shitcoins will bring you profit like it did in the past,you have to review your portfolio and make sure that every tokens and coins you holding are worth been hodl.
Try not to pick coins because they are mineable or they have actualized POS,coins without genuine use case will bite the dust additional times and lose esteem,this is 2019 and crypto world is reshaping, make the smart move
I totally agree I am not a BTC maximalist, I am holding some big alts at the moment but in the near future, many of alts are going to be useless. If you are investing in the alts that have a genuine use case. |

This problem is not just for Ether. Because of the increase of BTC dominance, every small and big alts suffer and lose some big value against BTC. And people don't trust anything while losing money.

Even I dont like their BNB pump strategy, still, Binance is the number one exchange for me at the moment. After lend/borrow and OCO feature I am using more than ever Binance.

Eth price is very important. Not just for ETH investors. Always ETH price trigger altcoin season. I mean when ETH start to pump you are going to see an altcoin bull run.
By the way, I am not waiting for a more downtrend for ETH. We are near the bottom.

Today is 20.08.2019 (5 days after the OP post). And It seems that BTC is trying to break 10800-11000 resistance at the moment and alt are going down again. BTC dominance is above again 70% according to tradingview.

It is hard to predict. But I think Cardano is one of the best promising coins at the moment. And probably investor of ADA will earn a lot of money during the bull run. The problem is the BTC dominance which is still very strong at the moment.
