Not all HYIPs are scam though the percentage of legit one is so low that Investor-based games section is now only littered with mostly scams/ponzis. I believe when the board was created, there wasn't as much scam as we see these days otherwise i don't think Theymos or any previous admins would have created that board.
Don't most (if not all) HYIP work with the idea that you need someone's else money to pay for the previous investors (basically pyramid schemes?)? I, at least, never saw any HYIP which has a real business model that sustains itself and without any issue in the long term. Most of them draw up projects to attract investors. Some people still make a profit from HYIP by helping projects attract investors and earn commissions. The majority of them are centipedes' legs. |
