21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want 10x profits in quick time? WAVES can be one of the coin you must buy now. on: October 29, 2019, 11:05:16 PM
Possible. But 10x, nah.... Not gonna happen anytime soon. Better hold decent amount because we don't what gonna happen next. 10x on 2024 maybe. Ethereum is doing good than waves as many projects are having smartcontracts on Ethereum blockchain than waves. Much more when Ethereum announced Ethereum 2.0. Waves DEX is cool tho. Been using it for months. But many DEX out there which is way more competitive than that. Hope they will create another idea how to hype their project.
22  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-26] John McAfee Doubles His Bitcoin Price Prediction on: October 29, 2019, 10:57:13 PM
It's his opinion we can't do anything about that. I will probably watch him eat his limp dick tho. Lol, no homo.
Let him be. People thinks he is an icon should be trust but in cryptocurrency space he is a clown. Don't know why people still trust this old guy. This guy has no shame.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 28, 2019, 10:51:28 PM
It is what it is. That's why you have study the project first before participating in such activities. I know this because I was scammed too. Sometimes a good project fails too. So always set your expectations. I'm a bounty Hunter and I don't waste my time to not appealing projects. What I'm looking for is the huge members support. There's a potential of meeting it's hardcopy if they got a huge support. That's how I determine if the project is worth investing of my time. Most of the bounty hunters here are just grab what they can grab without knowing the project is.
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: TRYING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT TRADING BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT I PICKED INTEREST ON. on: October 28, 2019, 10:44:09 PM
There's no safe side on trading cryptocurrencies. Trading cryptocurrency is a high risk. But the higher the risk the higher you get. I trade cryptocurrency too. But I stopped for a while because of bearish market and I can't afford to lose my money. But for the mean time, I participating IEOs to collect tokens where I think I could get decent profit on them. The good thing in participating IEOs, it's less work. Just find a good time to buy and sell them when it's ready for trade.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie Trading Question? on: October 28, 2019, 10:36:27 PM
Greed will turn you into zero my friend. Learn how to use stop-loss so the button will automatically triggered. That's how you manage your gains and losses. I encountered that too. Or much worst than you experienced. I already gained 10x way back 2017 where all altcoins are pumping crazy. I didn't sell it because I thought this will break the ceiling even more. Then suddenly the price plummeted to recent price. The worst part is Bitcoin dropped huge too. So I had to do something before it's to late. I ended up selling my cryptocurrency at a lowest price. The point here is, just be content of what you received.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Time in Bangladesh on: October 28, 2019, 10:26:49 PM
It's about the blockchain technology itself not cryptocurrency is what they are interested about. They knew blockchain can help them for banking solutions. Even China promotes the use of this technology. I think they are going to create their new blockchain. But no news about removing ban of the country. Hope the government will unban the use of cryptocurrency there. So people will enjoy the benefits of cryptocurrency. Hope they make a big announcement soon.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on XRP for long term investment (BEGINNER) on: October 27, 2019, 10:56:58 PM
Yeah, XRP is worth to invest with your money. XRP did good job for years and compete with top altcoins out there. Actually it's a must invest altcoin these days. Bank support for cryptocurrency is very unique. So when XRP is created, it's very unimaginable. And now XRP is one of the major Coins. Also it has the best scalability when it come transactions among the other major coins. It has its ups and downs but still survive. So for me it a must have coin.
28  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: October 27, 2019, 10:49:52 PM
Tingin ko timely ito dahil paparating na malaking bull run, hopefully this year.

1.) Ano ang mga na enjoy ninyo sa last bull run? Sa anong coins kayo kumita at sa anong paraaan?

2.) May regret ba kayo sa last bull run? Ano yun?

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 27, 2019, 10:35:18 PM
IEO can be use for scheme also. Not the IEO itself but the exchange. So be careful participants on such activities. You don't wanna give your money for free. Unknown Exchange which conducting IEOs are taking the buyers which will attract the customers to buy. That's where the scamming enters. You and the project are both victims. So trust only the reputable Exchange to participate for IEOs. KYC procedures is an indication of good security. They don't wanna give huge amount of IEO token for one person only. They provide KYC to promote equal distribution of token.
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I correct with this interpretation of capital gains taxes? on: October 26, 2019, 06:08:33 AM
Very specifically this has to do with tax brackets. I find myself in the $0 to $39,375 dollar range for income. According to the tax brackets for this, that means I pay 0% in capital gains if I decide to take some bitcoin out. Is that correct? Additionally, if I take out say, $50,000 does what I take out of bitcoin count as income and have an effect on my capital gains tax bracket status?

That depends on bracket on tax on capital gains. I think every country have different tax rates on capital gains. In my country (Philippines), if you gain Php 2,000,000.00 or above or $40k above. You're on bracket 5 which is automatic Php 490,000.00 + 32% of excess over Php 2,000,000.00. That's how they calculate the tax on capital gains. That's I think for domestic.
31  Local / Pilipinas / Re: China ang dahilan ng pag-angat! BITCOIN! on: October 25, 2019, 11:24:24 PM
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: October 25, 2019, 11:13:57 PM
Dex are not commonly used by many. I don't know if DEX make it's way to the top. However, DEX can be targeted by the government. That's why people are hesitant to use them. Centralized Exchanges are more preferred by many people even it's not cheap to use them. Because huge percent of overall trading volume came from centralized exchange. Also you can directly exchange cryptocurrency to that which way more convenient than DEX. I don't know how DEX can compete with CEX in 2020.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate List of Exit Scams & How to Spot One on: October 24, 2019, 10:52:58 PM
To all of those scam projects that are featured on that site. Bitconnect is the most popular in the cryptocurrency universe. Actually they made memes about them. That bald guy makes me laugh. Was that the CEO? Actually they're not scam. The project just lack of preparation how they mitigate their problem. If I'm not mistaken it's a lending coin. That happened to be abused by so many. And got bankrupt in the end because of small amount of return. So lesson learned. Never invest on lending cryptocurrency.
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: October 24, 2019, 10:43:09 PM
I think stablecoins will make a huge difference here. They're growing faster and faster. And people are patronizing them since its their safehaven for unstable market. Altcoin are slowly fading. I think this year not for cryptocurrency as bleeding market is taking over. No bulls yet. I don't know whether the halving of Bitcoin will make any effect on the market since total marketcap is slowly reducing. Hope next year will be good for cryptocurrency.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW to translate crypto info/news into decisons? on: October 24, 2019, 10:35:05 PM
It's no brainier. Just buy when positive news came in and sell when negative news came in. Plain and simple. It's up to you how will you interpret or analyze the news. But in trading cryptocurrency, it's just the basic and easiest way to predict the market. Not as accurate as the other method. But still working especially this who are newbies in trading cryptocurrency.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin's Weak Points on: October 23, 2019, 09:57:26 PM
One of the biggest issues of Bitcoin is the crime rate of ransomwares. It costs millions for the victims just to retrieve their data. It is also a non foolproof technology because if you put the wrong address, it's gone. You can't reverse the transactions once you start to send it. The scalability issue, everytime the price of Bitcoin is moving up. The transaction costs is going higher also as they're so many users are sending and receiving. Sometimes it's not worth to send small amounts anymore because of unreasonable cost of transaction. It's not decentralized anymore because you can't liquidate it if you don't comply KYC/AML procedure.

This is a helpful post. Also I would like to know if is this a form of scamming?

When I add custom token to my wallet. There are two other tokens also with the same name. Is this a scam?
Probably. Anyone can create their own token and with any name, so people can use the name of a known token but with a different tag to pretend to be the real one. If you click on any of these, there is an "Information" tool-tip icon in the page that shows:

Quote
Public Note: Double check the Token Contract Address to verify that you are interacting with the intended token contract

So neither of them are confirmed to be the legit.

Thanks for your information sir. I already knew the legit one. The legit one has the Icon. The others are not. Be always vigilant guys. Still on this step you can still encounter scam attempts.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Ransomware Be Driving Up Bitcoin Prices? on: October 23, 2019, 09:35:38 PM
Might be true. Victims of this ransomware are forcing them to pay in Bitcoin. Meaning, it could affect the price because victims have to buy Bitcoin just to pay them. I just don't know if hackers are quickly liquidate Bitcoin after victims paid. But it's a bad publicity for Bitcoin. Hackers are now more free and safe because of this technology. Even the transaction can be tracked. Still no one ever caught on ransomware. That's why I can't blame government why they are some against it.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: October 22, 2019, 11:08:57 PM
I've read new article on BlockChain24.co about TRON's chances to get to the top 10 on the CoinMarketCap. As for me, they aren't high. I'm afraid that Tron will probably drop even more. What do you think?

Never heard any news about Tronix. Seems Justin Sun is running out of ideas. I have invested in this cryptocurrency way back 2017 and made a profit of $20k. Not bad for a beginner eh. But that's was just 2017 where all altcoins are soaring and crashed quickly as they pumped up. But these days, you rarely see that again. 1000% high? That was crazy. If I'm not mistaken it reached from 100 sat to 8000 says? I could be wrong but this made me huge profit. Still looking for Alibaba partnership. Did it happen?

I didn't add the original yet. I don't also have the real contract address of this token.
