21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking scams ...How are Bitcoin better? on: October 01, 2023, 03:20:59 PM
I am not a big fan of banks, only use them when I have to withdraw money in local currency. I don't use debit or credit cards (for loan purposes) but to use ATM only. Not a fan of banking products which are nothing but a show-off. The point is, bitcoin is far better than banks in a hell lot of ways for example:
Decentralization
Full transparency
Faster transaction
Lesser taxes and fee
Besides that, there are more banking scams but fewer scams in BTC technology.

But, after reading your post hackers, thieves, and scammers have found many new ways to scam people (users of banks) like they can force you, they use pin hole camera, etc. Everything thing that you have aforementioned can be done for BTC users too.

They can force a person and can beat him for recovery phase, (once they get to know you are a BTC user) they can use hacking techniques (don't have to use pin hole camera to eavesdrop) they can simply eavesdrop on you by compromising your devices. But good precautions can make your BTC life more secure.

I don't really fancy banks too, only use them very occasionally to receive money and get some cash.

Moreso, I think even the banks are scammers themselves. The withdraw all sorts of undisclosed charges on your account and when you complain they tell you it's service charges, even when you ain't even using that particular service.

So, BTC is far better, and some of the reasons are already stated here.

If you don't like banks then you should stop using them. If you say banks are scams why do you still use them? Don't be like OP and talk bad about things you still depend on every day. If bitcoin is really so good, why hasn't it replaced banks yet, why haven't you converted all your assets to bitcoin? We should be honest with each other when discussing, don't try to live a fake life just because we want to flatter others. Bitcoin is really good but it will never replace banks and both have their own use cases.

Deciding to wait for Mbappe to be free is difficult now because by extending Mbappe's contract for 1 season indirectly this makes PSG still comfortable with selling Mbappe at a fairly high price.
Now indeed the decision is in Madrid whether they want or not to spend money on Mbappe especially I think for now they (Madrid) can be more comfortable to negotiate because Mbappe will definitely be sold in the summer because PSG has no choice now apart from selling Mbappe because the way of coercion they cannot do for a player of Mbappe's calibre.

PSG will not sell Mbappé for a high price, even if they extend the contract for another year. Mbappé seems to have determined that his next stop will be Madrid. He turned down many offers from big clubs. Continuing to prolong this transfer will cause damage to both sides, but the one who will suffer the most is probably PSG. They could lose Mbappé entirely without getting any money.
That's right, Madrid is the beneficiary, and PSG has to sell Mbappé to them at a cheap price. Madrid is the one who decides. They can buy Mbappé, and Haaland is also a suitable name for them to spend money on. If PSG keeps the transfer price tight, Madrid is ready to find another player.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 30, 2023, 10:16:14 PM
I believe PSG has carefully prepared for Mbappé to leave. Last season, they were ready to sell him. A big team like them won't depend on him. They are prepared to push him to the bench or sell him quickly. PSG is a financially strong team, and recruiting many stars to replace Mbappé is easy.
Saudi Arabia's "money" would make Mbappé the highest-paid player, but he doesn't need this. 'Success,' as you said, Mbappé requires individual and collective titles. A talent like him gradually fades away with PSG.

I'm sure of this too. It’s hard not to notice that, given the presence of such players as Kolo Muani, Ramouche and Dembele in the team besides Mbappe, there is some “crowding” among the forwards. Apparently PSG hoped until the very end that Real would make an offer that would suit PSG and Mbappe would go to Real this summer, but Real have been strictly rational for many years and they decided to get Mbappe for free, even a year later.
Exactly. You can't force a player who doesn't want to stay at your club. PSG's actions are quite irrational. I have a feeling PSG might resist selling Mbappe to Real Madrid and get angry over the situation. PSG did their part, now it's Madrid's turn to act and they might get Mbappe for FREE. Star players are leaving PSG; it's only a matter of time Mbappe make his exits. They've caused their own problems, and I wouldn't want any good player to come to PSG again.

It seems that Real Madrid is also fed up with Mbappé. Actually, they're not willing to spend a lot of money to get him. Mbappé has too many problems in the dressing room, and he can turn around and continue signing a contract with PSG. Real Madrid still has many names for them to choose from. The pursuit of Mbappé is unnecessary. But if they get him for free in the next transfer window, it will be a gift for them.

and I wouldn't want any good player to come to PSG again.

There will continue to be good players coming to PSG because they have strong financial potential. Unbelievable salaries are a trick for PSG to get good players. I give an example: Neymar left Barcelona to go to PSG.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: September 30, 2023, 02:34:55 PM
I think that any one that plan to become a billionaire in bitcoin this is the opportunity to invest in bitcoin against next bullrun.

The way I'm looking at next bullrun am thinking that the bullrun will be something that will push bitcoin price  to approach hundreds thousands [100] for the price, but people will not invest now.

You are aware that the economy is kind of tanking right now?
We are on the brink of ww3, multiple chances to start a war which is the one piece needed for many governments to restart their economy.
Its a marvel of time that Bitcoin can bet that stable.

The $100.000 mark requires a lot of people to make good extra money.

There will be no third world war, you don't need to be so pessimistic. Recession? Even if it happens, it has to end at some point, it can't last forever so you don't need to worry too much about it affecting bitcoin.

I still believe bitcoin will reach $100k or more in the next bull season. Of course, that won't happen right after the halving, it will take some time. And I think that's also when the world economy is gradually recovering.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Satoshi got rid of his private keys? on: September 30, 2023, 02:28:37 PM

1. He still has the private keys.

I still believe he is still holding his private key because he is the creator of bitcoin and he is the one who has the strongest belief in what he created regardless of what bitcoin will be like in the future. He needs to keep some for himself as a souvenir or to enjoy what he has created. So I don't think he would give up his private key unless he died. But I always hope that he will not die or be captured, he deserves to enjoy the best things that he himself has created.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 29, 2023, 10:51:19 PM
Bayern Munich was never a team with bad financial power and they could easily hire another goalkeeper in the summer with the money they can spend for it but currently, the only hope they can have is just their old and experienced goalkeeper Neuer. Neuer is getting recovered and I think he is going to play for his team soon but I don't think if we can expect to see a good performance from Neuer when he returns.

Bayern Munich's financial capacity may be abundant for the Bundesliga tournament. But compared to the Champions League, they are much weaker. Neuer will return to play soon, with his recovery going smoothly. But after a long period of being unable to play, he will no longer play as well as before. Aging is a big problem. Neuer is 37 years old. How much longer will he be able to contribute to Bayern Munich?
Bayern Munich needs to spend some money to buy a new goalkeeper to replace Neuer, which is necessary now.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: September 29, 2023, 04:05:21 PM
Bitcoin market was not good at all in 2022 and 2023.

Which years are considered good years and bad years for the market? If you don't have too much bitcoin in your wallet, what benefit will an increase in bitcoin price bring you? So, the longer and more bitcoin falls, the more you should know how to take advantage of that to accumulate as much bitcoin as possible instead of complaining that it doesn't increase in price. Many people are still waiting for bitcoin to decrease further to buy and they think that is a good thing, while you think that bitcoin decrease is a bad thing.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can third-world countries counter inflation using bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 03:57:56 PM
Third-world countries can counter inflation using Bitcoin. Devaluation of the currency is a major problem, and using Bitcoin, they can avoid this devaluation of money, and BTC can be used as a hedge. By regulating Bitcoin, they can influence the general public to invest and store their money in Bitcoin and fight inflation. Facilitate buying and selling of Bitcoin by making a crypto exchange. By implementing a tax on crypto earnings, they generate revenue for welfare projects.
The major concern in doing all this is Bitcoin volatility. Mostly, the less fortunate countries are not implementing this idea because bitcoin prices can not be predicted, and they can lose money. Financial literacy is another major concern in these countries.

Have you ever thought about the case of bitcoin losing 80% of its value like in the 2022 bear season, what will happen to that country's economy if they use bitcoin for their economy? Using bitcoin to fight inflation for the national economy is the idea of people who have no knowledge of economics and bitcoin. Bitcoin is a volatile asset, how can a country's economy grow when it only relies on volatile assets?

Does Bitcoin Create Jobs? Does it bring stable income to people? That is the key for a country's economy to develop and when a country has a good economy, inflation and currency devaluation will decrease.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: September 29, 2023, 12:43:05 PM
not sure about gambling as a main income. The fact that I found is that they actually lose a lot when gambling with emotions that want to win a lot from the results of their gambling. they are called gambling addicts. Yes, that should be avoided. I think gambling is a game that should only be for fun, not for making it your main income.
Making gambling for your main income can only be done by a professional gambler because they think they have mastered gambling so they can easily make money with the strategies they have.
Indeed, only a few people can do this gambling and most gamblers like this are not careless in placing bets, which is different from someone who gambles but cannot control himself and spends his money in vain. Gamblers like this are irresponsible gamblers and this is very dangerous can make gambling a source of income because it's useless for them to experience a lot of losses.

In gambling, the primary source of income is very ambiguous.
Even if they have income from this gambling game, players can hardly spend that money on necessary things or save it. Some people will take that money and continue sinking deeper into gambling, and it will be like a spiral dragging them along. Of course, that person will become addicted. The second component is the money that is easy to earn in gambling, and they will use it to indulge in debauchery ''because they feel that money is easy to earn''. I'm a good example: I won a lot of gambling, spent it all in one night, and now I don't see the balance in my account.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 29, 2023, 10:14:26 AM
I can say especially one thing about PSG now. They had better get used to playing efficiently as a team during this season. Because it seems like this is the only way they can stay strong when Mbappe leaves the team at the end of the season.  Smiley  I don't like to talk about this kind of topics very confidently of course.

However I have a feeling that PSG won't be able to convince him to stay even until 2025. Above all else with what are they planning to convince him?

Money? I don't think so. Real Madrid or another rich team can offer whatever PSG offer him. Success? The only way to convince him like this is to win the Champions League title this season I think.

31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 28, 2023, 02:02:43 PM
Yeah don't hype it. Let PSG to show its progress first. The upcoming match will be a very easy game for PSG if the club keep to perform the same like when it was beating marseille. I have been picking PSG to win the match against clermont.
It seems like the easiest match to predict this week. Don't tell me if clermont will able to trash PSG and fans will be booing the players. Winning against clermont is a must for the prais saint german club.

Everything is still remain good at this moment for PSG. The chance to win another league 1 trophy is very big right now.

PSG is a team with a much superior quality of players in this tournament, and the League 1 trophy is almost for them every season.
Talking about Clermont, they only won 1 point after the first 6 rounds in Ligue 1 this season and are returning to the French Second Division. Compared to last season, Clermont declined so much that fans couldn't recognize their favorite team. If Mbappé does not start this match, PSG still has a high win rate. Goncalo Ramos or Bradley Barcola will replace him. They and Ousmane Dembele will create a new spearhead for PSG. PSG has begun to stabilize the squad. Even when playing at home, it will be difficult for Clermont to create a surprise against PSG this time.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 28, 2023, 01:32:36 PM
V. Osimhen and Napoli are having something big that's affecting him and to me I feel Napoli needs to apologize to the player and better still punish that person who dropped that video of the player being called a coconut. I mean this is really going to affect the player mentally because I don't see any one taking this as a joke. We all know he has been trying to get that scoring form back but is not work and Napoli at the moment are not even close to second position on the league table so this is serious, and they're not doing well on the league.
For him deleting everything concerning Napoli to me is not suppose to me so, those are memories that won't come by again and he went too far in his decision but they (Napoli board) need to get this issue right and if I'm to be the player I don't think I can stay till my contract expires so if they don't clear this mess on time it will affect the performance of the team.

Last transfer season, Victor Osimhen felt satisfied when he refused offers from clubs to continue to stay at Napoli. Osimhen is considered Napoli's brightest star at the present time. Napoli's media department's bad behavior towards their No. 1 striker has increased tension in the relationship in recent days. The star disease was also part of the reason why he overreacted. The club should have found a way to appease Victor Osimhen instead of pushing his anger to the boiling point.
As a hot item in the transfer market, Victor Osimhen will have many choices for his next stop. Osimhen is self-isolating in Napoli and seems ready for a transfer in January. Napoli needs to reconsider the harmful effects of losing Osimhen.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 26, 2023, 08:02:13 AM
So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

I don't know if this is really the best approach, because we won't be able to control our kids lives forever. Gambling became a huge part of society in many countries and not talking about it is not removing it. I am not a big fan of bans or trying to avoid a subject completely. It's one thing to avoid the topic of gambling at home, but we don't know what our kids are getting exposed to from friends at school or seeing online. Already in movies gambling can be seen a lot and if we don't inform our children about it, they are more likely to get interested in it. That is why I think at a certain age (16+) it could be helpful to show them some gambling. Isn't it better if we do it together with our kids and can teach them about the casino edge and the winning chances, instead of them learning about it alone through friends or social media? We can't protect our kids forever and eventually they will find out about gambling. In my opinion I would prefer them to learn about it first before giving it a try themselves when they turn 18. Of course, homework and studies are much more important, this should be a treat for them and they need to earn it first. Doing good in school should be the goal and then we could teach them a bit about gambling, if they are really interested.

Yes, I agree that we cannot control our children. Nowadays, gambling is prevalent. Everyone knows about gambling because it is widely advertised on social networks and on the streets. But it's still good if we never gamble before our children when they are young. Awareness about the harmful effects of gambling is still lacking. No one can stop your children when you play in front of them. Just like you are an alcoholic, how can you forbid your child to drink alcohol?
In case your child is of a certain age (16+), it is necessary that we teach them to understand the harmful effects of gambling addiction. The proportion of people gambling is increasing. If we know the harmful effects, our children will partly avoid gambling addiction in the future.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 26, 2023, 07:35:11 AM
~snip~
I am not sure about this. Brazil is a relatively prosperous nation, at least when compared to Asian and African nations. But it is true that there are quite a few informal settlements in Brazil (known as Favelas, with a total population of close to 11-12 million spread across 6,000+ localities), where the living standards are too low. But these sort of ghettoes can be found even in developed nations such as the United States and France. That doesn't mean that those who live there face too many obstacles in developing their game.

You can read the bio of many Brazilian players and they will say that they were growing in one of those favelas, that they did not have shoes or food, and they were playing football all day by kicking a ball of paper, etc.

That is very common in Brazil, and to a lesser extent, South America.

These kids grew up playing with the absolute minimum, just a ball made of paper or trash, and ended up being the best in the world.

Rivaldo for example has issues with malnutrition when he was a kid.

Brazilian children suffer a lot. They wish they had health care and education welfare systems like those in European countries. For many boys in this South American country with a massive gap between rich and poor, football is still the fastest way out of poverty. Poverty has played a role in promoting football culture in Brazil. Stars Pelé, Neymar, Ronaldo... are still an endless source of inspiration for the boys of samba.
Currently, thanks to the government's economic promotion policies it has also had a particular impact on football. They produce less talent on the field, which is a positive sign for the lives of more Brazilian children, and children no longer need to try to escape poverty through football.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: September 25, 2023, 10:55:41 PM
There is a rumor that Luka Modric could join Messi in Miami.
The real Madrid midfielder signed a new contract in June 2023, which will expire in June 2024. It turns out that he will leave Real Madrid when his contract expires. After watching Luka Modric's performances at the start of the new season, Carlos Ancelotti decided that we are now ready to part ways with 38-year-old Luka Modric because his performance does not look as good as previous ones, so we are now ready to part ways with Luka Modric if he receives a good offer from MLS in the January transfer window.
So what do people think if Luka Modric also comes to Inter Miami? Club Already having Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, and now Luka Modric is coming to be part of the club. Besides that, Luis Suarez is also strongly linked with Inter Miami. Luis Suarez has reported that he will come to Inter Miami after the end of the Brazilian Série A league. So obviously, Inter Miami would be a more promising club in the MLS.
Source

I don't know how true this rumor can be, but in my opinion it will be good for these players to move to Inter Miami because the culture and laws of the United States of America are the same as those of Brazil and Spain, of course there are some points in the laws in Brazil and Spain may be harsher or more lenient in relation to the laws in the USA, but it is a fact that the laws in Saudi Arabia are extreme in terms of not being flexible and following religion and it is a country of dictatorship and without democracy, and a place where even though players earn a lot of money, they will not be free and their family would also suffer if they make any mistake. In Saudi Arabia, women do not have any freedom or rights like they do in democratic countries

That's why in my opinion they will do very well if they go to play in the USA, it doesn't matter how much salary Inter Miami will pay them, but honestly it would be much better if they received little but were in a democratic country. That whole movement that the Arabs are doing is something that after 3 years will lead nowhere, that in the long term will be a failure, no good player will agree to go and play in Saudi Arabia in 3 years. So it's good that these 2 players make a good choice, and in my opinion, a good choice will be to go to the USA for Inter Miami.

Speaking of inter miami, they chose not to put their best players in the last game of the league to save for the cup game, this is because the cup game is a final game, if inter miami wins then at least this season they will have won a title, which would already be something very good and important, inter's opponent in the cup final will be houston, it is not a weak opponent, that's why inter will need to put in a lot of effort if they want to win the game against houston in the cup final. Cup

If this information is correct, as predicted, Luka Modric will come to Inter Miami in early 2024 or the summer when his contract with Real Madrid expires. I should add MLS to my list of favorites, and I greatly admire Modric and Messi. They have kind hearts and fair play. These two stars are ready to refuse Saudi Arabia's huge salary. They want to find a new home that suits them.
Before Modric signed with Tottenham (in 2008), Modric expressed his desire to sign a contract with Barca. But it's a pity we can't see this duo at Barca. Now, if true, Modric will go to Inter Miami. There would be nothing better than seeing Messi and Modric as a team.

38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $120k next year - by Robert Kiyosaki on: August 10, 2023, 10:36:24 AM
now the price of btc is still in the range of $29k and I see that lately it's rather difficult for btc to break to $32k so according to my predictions that for 2024 the price of btc to reach $120k I think it's very difficult, but as a btc investor I'm still optimistic if in the future btc price will be higher. I don't think anyone will know about the btc price in 2024 but I hope that the btc price in 2024 will be over $120k and hopefully in 2025
btc price is very high
As investors, of course we must always be optimistic but we also have to be realistic, life is sometimes unique, what we plan is sometimes often different from reality, and as investors who already know Bitcoin for at least 2 years, of course not too much problem whether next year the price can reach $ 120k Or not, as long as we are still patient hold, $ 120k will occur.
There's no doubt, Bitcoin will go above and beyond $120k in the future, but in next year? I doubt it! Even if the price of Bitcoin starts going up from this point, it will still be difficult for it to reach that price next year because it won't enter the bull run before the halving, and halving is approximately in April next year, and generally, the bull run occurs after some time of the halving event, at least that is how it has been in the past, we can't be sure though.

Anyway, considering that, once the halving event occurs in April next year, we might see the price reaching a new all-time high at the end of next year or maybe in 2025. But still, it's all speculations and predictions that we create ourselves based on what has happened in the past and what's happening right now, we can never be sure of the future, of course.

I'm also bullish on bitcoin hitting $120k or more, and if we rely on what history shows, ATH won't happen in 2024 but maybe 2025 or 2026. If I remember correctly, the previous bull seasons will actually take place 1 year after the halving and if things continue to repeat themselves, the ATH will be set in 2025.
From the chart below, we can easily see the bull season and bitcoin hit ATH in 2013, 2017 and 2021 respectively, and if history repeats, we will have a new ATH in 2025.

The chart is clear with what we've been through and what we're going through. I also believe we are preparing for a bull season and we will have to wait until 2025 to really see a new bull season and ATH.
